My room was on the ground floor, next to an entrance, so I didn't feel comfortable to have my window curtains open (and with the closed curtains, I had to use the lights during the day too) - not a big deal for a short stay, but for a longer one it might be.
I was looking for a communal kitchen, but I couldn't find it. Probably should've asked, but I didn't.
The area is not great, but it's only a few stops away from the museums and other cool parts of the city.

For the price, the location is understandable: the hostel is kind of far away from the main tourist attractions. The kitchen was such a mess! Since I arrived to the hostel, the kitchen was never cleaned (I was there for 3 days!). The smell was awful. Even, you are supposed to pay a 20 Euro deposit for the hostel to lend you some cooking stuff, but they do not accept card, only cash (more flexibility is recommended). The hostel did not answer a message that I sent asking for a reservation detail.

It was cheap, i had a good experience with previous a&o thats why i booked it.
When we came we saw that the building is in a bad condition, then we paid at the reception and got a room. The room we got was not cleaned, full of trash. Someone was in the before. Then we got another room and two coupons for a free drink. Our new room had clean sheets and the trash can was empty but everything else was definitely not very cleaned - floor dirty, table not wiped itd… i think that the cleaning staff are not doing their job. The pictures are of the first room we got.

The hostel has a good connection with public transport. A ticket one way is €2.40. The hostel is in the zone Ottakring. You can reach it with the U6. It is only a 2-minute walk from the station to the hostel. The staff is really friendly, the rooms are clean, sheets are clean. The reception is open 24 hours, so you can have everything that you need. The vending machines have everything, and nearby, there are shops and more. I would recommend this place to everyone out there. It was the first time I booked a hostel, it looked better than most hotels I had been to over the years. It is above my expectations. There is nothing else to add.
There is nothing I didn't like about this Hostel location. But I do want to add, that the neighbourhood is mostly Muslim, a lot of people from Syria are living everywhere in this neighborhood. Outside people from Syria, there are also a lot of Romanians in the neighborhood. Almost every grill is halal. Next to the hostel, there is a grill room, I advise to others who read this, not to buy there. It is expensive and the food tastes old. A caesar salad there is €7.50 and it tastes like you get food from a homeless shelter. If you want to eat something, like a nice Kebab, I recommend walking down, or taking the metro just one stop to Thaliastrasse, right around the corner there is a little kebab shop, it is really small. But everything there is fresh and cheap, you can not miss it . Nice bread with kebab, salat, and sauce, everything fresh for just €3.80.

The room was pretty silent and relatively clean compare to what I expected.
The problem with warm water in shower was a bit disappointing , as the water temprture would fall every 10 seconds while taking shower.
The reception was really slow and reluctant to do their job and answer the guest queries.

Hotel room was ok. Children beds were not coated. We had to do it. I was charged 18EUR for parking, I thought it is for free or cheaper. I have never beeen in such a noisy hotel. Hotel guests having party till 3a.m.! And nobody cares! The receptionist did nothing! Noise from the street all day and night. Almost the coffee for hotel guests could be for free! After sleepless night. It would not ruine You! We wanted play table foolbal in the lobby, but receptionist could not find the ball. Black man sleeping on the couch in the lobby. There were refugees from Syria oř Africa and homeless at the parking lot, inside the hotel area!!! Really bad management!

The single room and especially bathroom was pretty clean. There was hair dryer, towel.
There was no lift, and in the room there was really strong male perfume smell…I got headache out of it. Most importantly there was extreme loud drinking party next door from 21:00 to nearly 2:00. Perhaps longer than that as I blocked my ears with noise cancelling earplugs which was a life saver of that night otherwise I won’t be able to sleep at all. I wonder if it is normal like this here or if everyone there can sleep with such loud noise. If i can i want to get refund, even recorded that loud noise during the early morning.

They werw offering us the room without electricity and with broken lockers and we refused to accept it as we paid for a room with electricity. So they calles the police to make us the leave the property

Clean, conveniently located, next to the City Hall and public transport. Rooms are good and the price is very good, I was surprised to find a bed the same day for 17€.
The most comfortable bed cannot help against the loudest snoring I have ever heard in my life. Perhaps those can have their own rooms in the basement? So unfortunately I barely slept an hour but the hotel is not at fault. I recommend earplugs in case you meet a similar individual.

cheap price for 1 night stay, good location near the train station
we came around 2pm but staff told us our bed's not yet ready and to come back at 3.We got back and said still not yet ready and it's ok to check in later after we stroll the city.Maybe they're just preparing our bed and it's ok for us so we could just go back and rest and sleep later.But then at night we came back we didn't expect that we're the one who needs to put the sheets and everything for our bed.ok it's fine but this lady staff (not the black coz she's nice) wasn't nice at all when we go downstairs to eat and ask for some tissue paper she's kinda rude.

very good location, 5 min walk to the stadhalle
tiny bathroom that can barely fit one person, whole room was dirty and smelly, wardrobe was destroyed, despite information on booking that breakfast was included I was informed that it is not and have to pay additional money, moreover did payment via booking but still was asked to pay at the hotel - and nothing wrong with that because mistakes happen - but had to explain it twice, sent proofs and printscreens of the payment, because apparently first person could not pass it to other employees.
