HiLight Suites Hotel - Vienna

Located in the city center, opposite Vienna’s Stadtpark, HiLight Sites Hotel is close to many sights such as the State Opera, the Belvedere Palace and the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, which can all be reached within 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The Stadtpark Metro Station (line U4) is just 328 feet away.

All of the suites feature an adjustable air conditioning system and consist of a spacious living room and a bedroom. They additionally feature a bathroom, working and dressing areas, 2 telephones, 2 satellite TVs, and a mini-bar. Free WiFi is available in all public areas and in the suites.

The on-site gym comes with modern equipment for the daily work-out, and guests can also unwind in HiLight Sites Hotel’s sauna. A buffet breakfast made of organic and local products is served for breakfast each day from 6:30 until 11:00. Special diet requirements such as lactose-free and gluten-free can be requested, and there also is a bar where guests can gather in the evenings.

The deluxe apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great, very close to the city center.

The person at the reception that checked us in was not that nice and tried to send us to their private garage parking for 34 euros a day, even though during the Christmas days the public parking was free and there were plenty of parking spaces around the building. The private parking was the parking of the Intercontinental hotel so it was anyway further away and with more complicated access.

It was Clean, Clean Clean! :) Superb cleaning staff. Well thought out place for travelers to be very comfortable. We paid for the buffet breakfast, which while expensive, set us up for the whole day - scrambled eggs, cheese sausages, bacon, fresh cheese and sliced meats, beautiful breads, cereals, fruit salad, yoghurt, fruit juice. They brought you your choice of hot coffee or tea to your table which was lovely, but we didn't know what options there were - hot chocolate? The tables were properly laid with white tablecloths and felt elegant. The bed and pillows must have been very comfortable as we slept very well. They had 2 single quilts which actually turned out to be a bonus on a queen bed, we liked being able to individually cover ourself or not. It would be nice to have had a top sheet though, so you don't overheat. We opened the windows for ventilation to sleep with and that was pretty good. The airconditioner doesn't turn on in winter and while that makes sense, if you are a warm sleeper you may be like me and sleep with the airconditioner all year round. As it was cold outside, opening the window was useful. The room was very large with skylight windows which were very sweet, plenty of space in the room for luggage storage, a great useful wardrobe, tv, bedside tables with power points. The ensuite was very massive and had everything you would need. The entrance had hooks for coats and space for shoes and a full length mirror which was super handy and not cramped like some Hotels. There was a mini kitchenette with kettle, sink, microwave and mini fridge. Coffee and tea sachets were replenished each day (no milk though). The lounge area had a desk and a tv and was roomy, we moved the two single chairs together to make a couch which was nice to have the option. And there was an elevator. The front staff will answer any questions happily, they just don't offer information.

A minor thing: The sauna couldnt be turned on for use by yourself, you had to request the front desk turn it on 20 minutes before you wanted to use it, which seems reasonable except that it was cold outside and by the time 20 minutes were up, we had warmed up in our rooms and gotten comfortable with a shower instead and so didn't manage to use the sauna once in 8 days. And I was disappointed not to be able to use it as it looked very enticing.

Spacious, clean and cosy. This is the best sleep I have ever gotten in a hotel. Comfortable beds, comfortable pillows! Small garden that you can use. Amazing location, everything is on a walking distance. A few places that are far from the city centre are easy to get to via metro, that is almost outside the hotel. Staff is very helpful: they gave us information for everything! Everyone is extremely polite and customer oriented.

Very spacious room, especially when you have a toddler. A nice kitchen where we could prepare our breakfast and a nice living room to seat and relax at the end of the day. The location is perfect, just 1 min walk from Stadpark station and 15min from the city center. Sueprmarket, restaurants, cafe, playground all in walking distance. The staff was always helpfull. I will recommend it and definitely choose again for our next visit in Vienna.

The front desk staff were able to store our bags upon arrival (we got in on an early train) and even provided us some complementary coffee from their breakfast. We were able to get into our room about an hour early and were pleased with the size of the room - having an additional living space and small kitchenette makes traveling a lot easier. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom large (by European standards) and the living area provided us plenty of room to prepare and eat a few of our meals in our room. The only slightly negative thing was the small fridge that doubles as a minibar and doesn't have much room for too many other things! The location of the hotel was good - very close to the Stadtpark and the U-bahn station, so it was quite easy to/from the train station. It was within very reasonable walking distance of the main part of the old town and to the Belvedere Palace to see the Klimts! We did not elect to eat the breakfast at the hotel - we're not big breakfast people - but it did look like a very nice spread! The value was good - decent hotels in Vienna are not inexpensive - so finding a hotel with this amount of space for the price was very reasonable and we would be happy to stay at the HiLights hotel again on our next visit to Vienna.

We loved the spacious room. It was modern and clean. The facilities of the hotel, especially the spa, was also a big bonus. The staff was very professional and friendly. The location is fantastic. The location is very convenient. A block away from Stadtpark metro station. The room was big, spacious and comfortable. The windows are soundproof. The breakfast choice was also very good and it was one of the factors to book this hotel again. The staff is always very responsive and attentive to all of our questions.

The elevator for some reason have an issue when pressing the buttom for floor 1. It got stuck and was difficult to make the lift go up.

Amazing staff! Everyone we met was welcoming and helpful. The service at the reception was great—thank you! The location is excellent: there’s a supermarket nearby, it’s quite close to public transit and to Stadtpark station, and only about a 15–20 minute walk to the center. The room had double, large windows, so you don’t feel the cold weather outside. We also received a nice crib for the baby.

We woke up with back pain each morning because of the bed, and I still have it even now that we’re back home. The water in the shower was warm, but there was no water pressure. The room was fairly clean, but we found someone’s leftover food in one of the drawers, which had clearly been there for quite some time..

the location was excellent. near the intercontinental hotel, big park, metro stations and close to all the attractions. there is an elevator.

the air conditioning was not working and the windows could not be opened due to constraction outside. when we asked to relpace a room because of it we were turned down. the kitchen is not really a kitchen. it looks more for pictures and not for real use of a kitchen. not enough lights. there is no mirrors. no place to hang the towels. we ordered the hop on/hop off tour bus by the hotel just to later find out that we were overpriced significantly. we were charged seperately instead of a family rate although we were a family.

The staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent, allowing easy access to all kinds of transportation, plus all of the famous tourist spots within the Ring are easy to get to on foot. The towels and bed linens were very clean.

The 4-stars for the type of accommodation we got was way overrated. Our reservation promised city views, a desk, all kinds of other facilities, none of which were available in the suite. (Some of them were listed as available from the front desk, but that's not the same). The 'suite' was quite dark, the lighting insufficient, the kitchenette under par: on very dull real knife, no drying rack, salt and pepper only on request, no 'real' coffee...

Great spot from which to explore Vienna. The room was great - quite big, much like the breakfast! I definitely do recommend.

Honestly, and I'm still confused about this - the room has a fridge with plates, silverware, glasses, etc.... but no bowl. I went downstairs and asked if I could have a bowl, and they said no. They have bowls. It was odd. Only bad part, though, I'd note.

Very large and comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent. They even had a Christmas event for kids during our stay that our son loved it and it was very convenient on a vey cold day!

Location is pretty good and a short distance to central city. Room is spacious and clean

- beds were super uncomfortable, thin mattresses that was extra soft and flimsy with itchy covers - room was extremely hot - pillows were flat with no cotton or feathers. They were awful - towels are scruffy, as they’ve very dated and worn - thankfully we avoided the €24/person breakfast, as it clearly wasn’t worth it - upon our return one night we asked for waters that the hotel later attempted to charge us, which is ok but they never indicated that there was a cost with each in excess of €4. We would never spend the cash especially with a supermarket 100 yards away. - lastly we tried to do a quick load of laundry. The dryer didn’t work properly and we needed to travel with soaking wet clothes. The hotel the attempted to charge us €20 for a wash that wasn’t effective - a very average hotel, not a 4-star per Booking.com

Spa desn’t provide the robes, so I did not go there The bath towels were too small Air conditioner did not work well Reception desk staff was very friendly, but during check out did not ask how was our stay Room had no clock and any note paper/ pens I think Hotel has overpriced

Location is amazing, quiet neighborhood but 10-15 mins walking distance (or 1 short subway ride away) from the downtown - Hofburg, Opera, Albertina Mudeums. Receptionists were super nice, breakfast excellent, suite spacious, beds comfy bathroom nice and well-equipped.

Suite furnishing kind of basic quality, but fulfills needs.
