Location is great, two tram stops away from Vienna Hbf, or prob a 10-15 walk. Staff very enthusiastic, nothing was a trouble. Requested a kettle, and asked for cups, tea bags and milk.
Breakfast buffet could do with more hot options (only had boiled eggs), or some sausages, but there was plenty of other choice- cereals, fruit, variety of bread, cheese and cold meats.

A very comfortable, spacious room with a large bathroom. The staff were very kind and helpful. Even though it was just a stopover stay, I would gladly return here. The breakfasts were tasty — basic in terms of selection, but sufficient to find something for yourself.

Hotel Caroline sent me a message 4 days before arrival asking if I could check in between 8 and 9 PM. Unfortunately, the message went to my spam folder, so I didn’t see it.
I was supposed to check in on Saturday and check out on Sunday. However, my trains were heavily delayed. I ended up traveling an extra 9 hours, including being stuck with train on one place for 3 hours. I was exhausted, cold, hungry, and honestly desperate, knowing I wouldn’t arrive before midnight. That’s when I found the email in my spam and realized my booking could be canceled.
I finally arrived at the hotel at 2:15 AM. Despite everything, a very kind and understanding man at the reception immediately opened the door for me. He didn’t make any unnecessary comments about my late arrival, clearly seeing the condition I was in. He quickly checked me in, showed me my room, and even prepared a wonderful dinner plate for me at 2:30 AM, completely free of charge!
It was one of the most human and wonderful experiences I have ever had in any hotel. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable.
I definitely recommend this hotel.
Everything was perfect. Cant say anything.

This was a hidden gem in Vienna, a few blocks from the major train station but also quiet and comfortable. I was in need of rest from travel and honestly did not hear *anything* from outside my room. I was convinced I was the only hotel guest (traveled off season) until I physically saw another guest. I saw my room by the stairs and elevator and thought there would’ve been noise.
Thoroughly impressed with the building and staff, 10/10 definitely stay here.
I can’t honestly think of anything bad. The restaurant is not open late but plenty of nearby food options, coupled with food deliver apps, I did not go hungry.

The receptionist insulted me in front of other people when I made a sandwich to go since I wasn't feeling well whilst on breakfast and I couldn't eat then. Please note that other people were doing the same everyday however they were "smart" enough to hide it in their bags.

The amazing moment was the accessible elevator and the accessible bathroom.

The transportation was good; it was close to the train station, within walking distance, and the tram was nearby for easy access to the city center. The room was spacious.
The reception staff helped with luggage storage. However, early check-in wasn't possible, and waiting until 2 pm after such a long journey was difficult; they could have been more helpful. The bathroom wasn't clean, the towels smelled and were dirty, and there were hairs on the sheets. We managed for one night, and slippers would have been nice. Unfortunately, I won't be choosing this hotel again.

Everyone writes that breakfast is great...coffee is good but the only warm things are the omelette and the boiled eggs. Everything else is cold. The breakfast area is small and options are ok for 2-3 mornings but not more.

The front desk staff at ten am on 3rd May 2026 accused me of not paying despite payment made as far back as 7th January, the man screamed at me, told me he wouldn't let me know, pretended to refer to his computer, yelled at me " it's only the charge on ur card _ we haven't got the payment "- i almost missed my train to prague because of him.
The staff didn't appear friendly , rest were polite but detached _indifferent _ not apt for hospitality.
I have booked far more expensive hotels like now in prague but the front desk man in hotel Caroline is racist , he seemed to be against me only because of my colour.
I have never faced an overt discrimination from the hospitality sector in Europe, it was my 3rd time in beautiful vienna, the man in Caroline spoilt it for me.
The subway station to this hotel is Keplerplatz which is unsafe at night due to a lot of suss people _ mostly homeless .
I expect a written apology as this kind of supremacy due to color is simply not civilised , we are polite despite our fabulous education _ we expect the same.
I expect a full refund.

The road outside the hotel is very busy especially the trains ( quite noisy ) so would definitely ask for a quiet room if we return
