The hotel is located in between 2 train stations which are both 5 min walk from hotel, accessible to anywhere in city center..The staff are friendly and helpful, we asked if we could borrow a vacuum cleaner to vacuum our puffer jackets and our clothes to a vacuum and they had the housekeeping staff delivered the vacuum in our door within minutes..Will definitely stay here again when I come to Vienna..

The area was generally quiet, despite being on a main road, but we had a room at the rear.
It was close to the river (Danube) and pleasant walks were easily accessible. It was also close to two metro stations.
The room was a decent size and the bathroom had a good shower, although the water sometimes ran hot and cold when other people were also 'draining the system'. Ample space for luggage storage, and sufficient seating.
The negative aspects of the room were that there was little wardrobe or hanging space (but proper hangers, which was a bonus), and just a bare wooden floor (no carpet). This made the room seem 'cold' and unwelcoming, although the heating kept us warm. This was not the budget Ibis hotel (which was next door), so one might have expected a carpet or a floor covering of some sort.
The best thing was the breakfast, which included a fine selection of cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit salad, some yoghurts, a variety of bread / rolls and a few (unexciting) pastries. There were several 'extras' (often not included); mainly dressings, a choice of jams, savoury accompaniments to the cold meats and cheeses, etc. Plenty of tea and coffee options and a smaller choice of fruit juices. Some fresh fruit as well. The bananas were literally black, but they tasted reasonable.
It was a surprise to find a limited range of hot food; scrambled egg, sausages, bacon, plus (cold) boiled eggs. This was not bad, apart from the processed sausages, but, unfortunately, scrambled egg simply does not work adequately unless it is served when freshly cooked.
There was a toaster to toast bread, which often disappeared quickly, to be replaced only with rolls. The toaster was VERY slow.
In general the staff were polite and helpful, apart from one person in Reception (see below). One younger lady was particularly jolly and happy to help with anything.
Although this was not an Ibis budget hotel, we felt the room was a little basic, mainly lacking any floor covering, as stated above.
The size of the bath towels was questionable. I am not large or overweight, and my spouse is even smaller, but the so-called 'bath' towels could barely be wrapped around our waists. However, to be fair, when we asked at Reception for additional towels, these were suppled without question (by the younger, jolly lady), while a young man explained that the towels were a standard size and larger ones were not available.
One older lady in Reception became irritable when I required some information about a location, which she had to look up on the computer. She was busy at the time, so I said it wasn't urgent and that there was no rush (meaning she could do it later and come back to us). She thought I was being sarcastic and expected her to go faster. It must have been a bad day for her; on another day, she was more pleasant.
Walking down the flight of stairs into the breakfast room one morning, I turned to the right too quickly at the bottom, to access the room. The last step was sticking out at a right-angle and I gashed my leg badly on the sharp corner, causing a painful injury. No doubt I should have looked with greater care about where I was going, but it was unexpected and there was no notice to indicate the possible problem. Perhaps it might be worth considering placing a written warning nearby, or at the head of the stairs, to prevent other guests suffering the same accident.
During the breakfast period on most mornings, the two elevators were often both in use by house-keeping staff, wheeling huge trolleys of linen in and out of the elevators, between each floor. The trolleys filled the lifts, which meant that we had to use the stairs, both up and down.

The room was much too hot - permanently over 22°. We put the A/C on but it made no difference. The shower pressure was extremely low. The door to adjoining room was unlocked so not secure. The hotel has no lounge area. We simply did not want to return to the hotel in the evenings, exactly the opposite of what you want from a hotel.

I liked the hotel and almost all the stuff but one (the lady with blonde hair). When we came to pick up our belongings at the reception, my backpack had gone missing. The blonde woman first told us to come behind the reception desk to look for our things, then told us to step back because "there is a lot of money" — which felt like she was implying we might steal something. Never mind that I also had a lot of money and valuables in my own backpack. After that, she left briefly and returned with the backpack from an unknown room, without even apologizing.
This whole situation really spoiled the overall impression.

I could not increase room temperature . Airco in the room was blowing cold air even if you move button to warm up position
I was very upset with the parking . This hotel does not have own parking. To all customers that are coming to the hotel with own cars the staff suggests to park car at public garage at the backside of the hotel. You will get unpleasant surprise when you try to leave this parking. Your cards are not working and there is no nearby any possibilities to pay by cash ! I gone to reception to help me with this problem - but got an answer from front desk that they cant do anything. As it is public garage. Finally one of managers came with information that there is a machine to pay cash ( next door to the hotel )
This machine was in German language and it was very difficult to understand how to make payment.
When we were finally leaving this underground parking - there were 2 another cars with foreign numberplates that could not exit this parking as theirs cards are also were not working. So I told them how to deal with this situation.
I think that we are not the only one with this story
And it would ne nice if hotel can explain this BEFORE you go to parking.

The hotel was at a perfect location . The metro was 2 minutes away and 10 minutes away from that train station than connects to the airport. Also 10 minutes from Prater. The room was fine for 2 people, the bed comfy and plenty of space for luggage and our things. The bathroom was okay and always had hot water.

Staff was on a private call in the back room and even after asking 2 or 3 times to check in she ignored us. Only after a very long wait she came with the called still on speaker phone and asked what we want. Well, what do we want when we arrive with luggage in the evening, probably check in.
The next day we wanted to have our parking ticket validated, there was a huge group of Asians who just arrived. They were all filling out the paper work so he could have just validated our ticket but instead we had to wait until all of them were done. We signaled a few times that the ticket was all we wanted.
We also asked about the breakfast times. We were told "daily until 11am". There was no mentioning that on weekdays it's only til 10am.
The parking lot could use a sign or two. I am not able to walk stairs very well. Unfortunately you have to walk stairs either up or down with heavy luggage.
