The only downside was the doors and walls were relatively thin so you would be able to hear people opening and closing doors at night as well as talking

Extremely clean and spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. The location was perfect (which was most important for us). Metro and tram stops were just few min away, which made our 5-day trip much easier. There’s also a lovely main street nearby, only a 10-minute walk. We spent very lovely times in there. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
The only thing we didn’t like wasn’t related to the property itself. On some nights, a few guests were inconsiderately noisy late at night. However, even this did not affect our overall comfort during the stay.

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. Facilities great, ultra clean and cosy rooms, filling and yummy vegetarian/vegan dinners organised by hostel (pay what you want, 5 euro recommended by staff) - even at dinner the option to meet travellers and chat but also easy to enjoy the meal solo. This hostel is as social as you want it to be, easy to make friends but if you prefer do your own thing this is very easy here too.
Heaps of beautiful art everywhere and very quirky designs. 24/7 staff were very helpful and friendly.
Approx 40 minute walk to the old town (young travellers average fitness) or 25-30 minutes with public transport located close by. Excellent value for price and distance is doable but takes a long time and effort. We ended up walking mostly as public transport is not much faster and is costly and crowded.
Bathroom inside our bedroom was very convenient however if you want to wake early to shower this is tricky if you don’t want to wake other guests up.

Good location, close to the Westbahnhof train station. Seemed like a nice place, the check-in was very friendly and the room for 3 people was small but ok.
I found bedbugs in our triple room, and I was bitten multiple times. While we were able to switch rooms and some of our clothes were frozen, the response from the staff made it seem like this was no big deal. It was, however, a very unpleasant and gross experience, and I am still disgusted by the thought of it.
We never received an apology, and despite following up by email, I haven't received any response.
Additionally, I wanted to make a tea in the kitchen, but it was so dirty that I was turned off.

This is such a lovely hostel with loads of character and friendly staff. The pay as you feel meal in the evening is great and the communal areas and bar are good. Breakfast was great as well and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again next time
It is quite pricey for a hostel but it's hard to get around that in a city like Vienna at Christmas time. Apart from that I really didn't have any complaints.

No curtains for each bed. It meant that if someone got up really early in the morning, they opened the main curtains and let the light in. Less privacy.

All the staff were great - helpful and easy going. I was also fortunate in that my roommates were nice and sociable too. Kitchen, laundry, and other facilities were well maintained and clean. The hostel organises daily activities like visits to somewhere nice in Vienna and a pay what you want dinner whose suggested tip is €5 which is probably the best €5 many people would spend in the city.

I loved this hostel, it’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in!
It’s exactly the kind of hostel I like: a place where you can meet people, but still have your privacy. It’s not a crazy party hostel, but they host social events and activities for guests to get to know each other and they respect silent hours.
Everyone who works at the hostel is super nice and friendly and they make you feel welcomed.
Breakfast is good, they have a laundry and a coffee machine and a clean kitchen. Everything you need is there.
I 100% recommend this place to anyone.
Everything was perfect, but if I had to say something I would suggest check out at 11am instead of 10am
