Scarborough Beach is a lovely area and the hotel in a great location. The apartment was a little smaller than I was expecting but well equipped and clean. Beds were comfortable and it was pretty quiet at night. We had Apartment 2 so facing toward the beach and the pool. I wasnt aware the room wouldnt be serviced the week we were there but thats my fault for not reading all the small print. This just meant we had to wash our towels half way through and the sheets were changed. You can ask for a service at an additional cost which was pretty reasonable - I think just $30 or $40 for a 2 bedroom apartment? The property is part of a set and we stayed at the one next door to the main building where the reception is located. Apparently there is parking available but we couldnt work out how to get the chain across the entrance down so we just parked at the main building next door. It was off-street but not secure. No issues though. I'm sure there's a way to get in to the other parking, we just never asked about it. The beach across the road is pretty awesome, and there's plenty of green space to run and a small playground. There were lots of dining options around and a gym around the corner and a supermarket about a block away. Recommended for families.

The pool in the main building was under renovation while we were there but apparently guests normally have access to both pools regardless of what building you're staying in. And this presented the only problem we had while there. 3 families from the building next door took over the small pool at the building we were staying at every day, taking up all the available pool loungers and creating quite a bit of noise you would expect of 3 families with young children. As the pool is quite small it meant that really no-one else could use the pool during this time as it would be quite awkward swimming in that small space with 10 other strangers. Unfortunately by the time they left, the pool was quite dirty (if you have a pool you'll know of the water quality after half a dozen small children, and a few adults, have been peeing in it all day for 3 or 4 days straight). The water was quite cloudy and left with the slick sunscreen can leave on the surface of the water. However, the reception did provide passes to the big public pool across the road. The pool is huge and there was a separate pool for very small kids which was also huge, and there's quite a few dining options in the complex. So in the end it worked out, just annoying that the selfishness of other guests can impact your experience but there's not really much the property can do about other guest's behaviour.

The beds were really comfortable and the location was superb. The apartment was really clean and the lady at the front desk was lovely.

The shower only had two temperatures, really hot or really cold. We had the matenience people come have a look at the shower situation but said they couldn't do anything about it. The toilet seat is very old bits were flaking off could easily be replaced to make it feel cleaner. One of the pools was being repared and we were compensated with tickets to the public pool across the street. Which was OK but there were limited seats to relax on over there. We would have used the second pool at Seashells a lot more however the pool was very dirty and I don't know the last time it was cleaned. The water was murky and the kids were pulling out clumps of people's hair. And my husband said when he used his goggles for a swim he could see people's flaked off skin in the water. There was also no shade around the pool. Could have some umbrellas.

Probably needs a refurb in some areas and one of the pools/ bbq areas under construction (we were advised about this prior to arrival-very fair), smaller pool was still available and staff provided wristbands to use a public swimming pool just across the street/ an awesome new complex

The property is rather dated it does need renovation especially for the price charged. The in-complex pool was a bit grubby, I would have thought it would have been better kept. The public pools across the road seemed cleaner. The front door lock didn't seem very secure.

Had an issue with our keys ...... both keys failed to let us in or use the elevator on night...... had to ring after hours number they had to send someone to solve the issue ...... I was asked to come down to the font office ... but I've been struggling with hip and knee issues and asked them to come to me ..... the person did and then returned both sets of keys ... it was frustrating . Accessing internet was very slow and often it cut out.

We had an apartment that looked out over the ocean. There was a large swiming facility just down the road. and a nice walk along the esplanade. Location of shops and resturants was good.

The door to the apartment was very heavy to open. We are not young so it was abit of a struggle to open the door.

The location of Seashells is very convenient and central to everything at Scarborough. Our room was at the wing of the apartment block and we had lovely ocean views. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Some of the furniture was a little weathered or dated as too were the terracotta floor tiles in the kitchen and bathroom.

Excellent location if you enjoy eating out, or a small kitchen if you want to eat in. We thoroughly enoyed relaxing on the balcony and watching the sunsets from the balcony. Only minutes from a gorgeous beach. Thes staff were very friendly and keen to help.

It was a well equipped property with a comfortable bed and everything you need for a long stay. The view from the balcony was lovely, looking out to sea. It was in a good walking location for cafes, restaurants and the beach. It was a very vibrant beach area with lots going on. The Thursday night market (mainly food) with lots of music to watch the sunset was very entertaining. The WiFi in Room 305 was very poor. A short drive away to Karinyup Shopping Centre (a very large Mall) which is worth a visit.

The locaiton was excellent and only a minute walk to the beach which we faced. It was warm when we travelled but the quiet fan in the room made a big difference. Loved the water and the accomodation was very close to good restaurants and eateries. As we landed on Thursday night our bonus was the weekly night food and treasure market. It had a large variety of food from different parts of the world.

Parking was limited but we managed to park the car close to our accomodation on the ground itself.Loved the clever gantry which dropped when you pressed the button. Bigger cars than an outlander would be challenged to park. Street parking had limited times.

The bedding and lounge were very comfortable and it was a large apartment, which suited teenagers and parents.

The shower has surface mold. Which was disappointing as it is easy to clean. The street noise was loud over wknd and neighboring apartments you can hear young children crying and doors slamming early house of the morning.
