Pool was gorgeous. Location was excellent, a short walk into town and close to the beach. Pool service was great. Pina colada in a pineapple was delicious. Complimentary bubbles on arrival.
Overall staff were lacklustre and disinterested. Only improved when we complained. Our spa suite with pool view was not cleaned well, not many amenities and small. Our room smelt of mould. No fan in bathroom. We complained on arrival to be shown a sub par room option (street views) and then offered room spray.

The welcome from Emily on arrival was wonderful. We arrived early and she said she would look after our bags and we were welcome to enjoy the facilities while we waited for our room. We asked if she was sure, her reply "of course, this is your home for the next week" it was such a lovely thing to say and we were both impressed! All of the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We had a room overlooking the pool which was lovely. We were able to listen to the live music on a Monday night from our balcony and enjoy a spa on our balcony after a day at the beach. Peppers is in a great location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and modern.
We had an odour issue in our room when we first checked in. The staff were very good and sent housekeeping to assess the situation straight away. The problem was in the air conditioner, it was emitting a mouldy odour. They agreed to clean the air conditioner filter for us daily throughout our stay. As the weather was mild, we simply turned the air conditioner off for the duration of our stay (in July), however the air conditioner would be essential in hotter months. We booked the cheapest room which didn't have cooking facilities, however we had booked restaurants for most nights and were able to stock the fridge with breakfast items, so we didn't miss the kitchen. I imagine if you were travelling with a family it would be great to have kitchen facilities for self-catering.

The location of this accommodation is amazing. You can walk to everything which makes it convenient and doesn't require the use of a car.
The staff were not very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival a gentleman was sitting in the office and knew we were at the front desk and just kept sitting in the office. We rang the bell and no one came. In the end we had to go behind the desk and into the office to get him to come out and check us in. The room was dirty upon check in which was really disappointing. Also no one came to service our room during the stay. We called one day to ask why and were told that all the cleaners had gone home.

Nice pool area !
We had to change rooms cause the first room had no privacy as people were right outside our room where the spa bath is and no way of screening for privacy . We were moved to a more private room but very much smaller and no desk. Also no hot water for shower that night or in the morning . I was really looking forward to some luxury after roughing it up The cape for several weeks. Sorry Peppers, your staff are wonderful but the stay let us down for the money. We have stayed in much nicer for far less.

Staff were very helpful from the front of house to the cleaners
pool was too cool , bathroom door could not be closed easily unit 111 , no mirrors at all except for bathroom. We are 2 elderly but active 72 and 75 year olds who were not told at booking that there were no lifts to our designated room. Staff were very good able to find us another room after trying to navigate the stairs for our first 24 hours.

Loved the swimming lagoon around which the resort is built. The quality of the food output from the small kitchen with just two cooks was extraordinary.
We were disappointed by the indifferent attitude of the restaurant and poolside serving staff. The mature age waitress was a joyful exception. Theres a training problem here.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The entrance was attractive with the view to the pool area
I was extremely disappointed with the outlook from the room, the view was overlooking the camping ground next door. I was anticipating sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine in the evening - BUT seeing campervan roofs, washing on the line, the laundry room ect did not meet my expectations. People need to be informed that room 233 does not have a pleasant outlook

The room was clean and the swimming pool was lovely. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and the location of hotel is so great. It is located in the walking distance of the Port Douglas jetty where almost all great barrier tours start at. It is also so close to the city center where you can find restaurants, shops even supermarket with 5 to 10 minute walking.
The Breakfast menu was so limited and in the first day of our stay, the waitress was unfriendly and a bit rude.
The swimming pool was not seemed to be so cleaned. Also our bed was not comfortable at all.

Its a beautiful property but if youre looking for a quiet pool it can be hectic with kids everywhere. I love kids but some parents screaming their kids names out instead of being in the pool with them was not fun to watch
Too many parents screaming out their kids names over and over. Get in the pool and supervise them. Get off your phone

The freshness, ambiance, location, facilities and size of our apartment.
The design of the bathroom. Water kept flowing over the very narrow lip of the shower recess onto the floor of the general bathroom and around to the toilet. Created slippery conditions and a nuisance to navigate.

The pool was huge with a different experience with a beach walk in effect. Plenty of room for all to move around in it. Location was a short walk to the shops/restaurants.
The menu could have more of a selection on it for breakfast, lunch & dinner times.
