We have travelled a lot and we loved everything about this hotel and it was in a fantastic location. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Car parking is very secure but a pain to get to. Access is about 100m before rhe hotel reception doors but unfortunately it's a one way street so you have to do a little tour to loop back around to access it. No biggy just unfortunate

Beautiful spacious room in the historic part of the hotel. Bed was very comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows. Quiet hotel. Breakfast was good, not particularly special but just what you would expect. Staff was very friendly. The wellness area was quiet and spacious. Gym small but sufficient. Right in the center of Bruges. Would come again!
Coffee at breakfast was a bit weak, the coffee machine in the room made better coffee fortunately. No room service (plenty of options nearby). The a/c in the room did not appear to do a lot but it was possible to open a window so I did not mind.

Location ! Hotel is in a great area, quiet, not in busy part of town but close to centre of town. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go and in 1-2 mins we were amongst cafes, restaurants and shops. Lovely decor in hotel and fancy bar area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff was uniformly unsmiling, unwelcoming and unhelpful. The “superior” canal view room had nothing superior about it. It was small and dark and the bathroom was tiny, with a built in plastic ”shower cabin” that you could not even bend over in if you dropped your soap. Absolutely not worthy of a two star hotel, much less a four star hotel! The “canal view” was blocked by two armchairs that covered the window and you could see the canal only by pressing yourself against the window after squirming behind the two chairs.

This hotel is perfect, the breakfast has a million choices, all fresh and all full of flavour. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. We cannot recommend it enough.
No USB ports in the bedrooms so don’t forget the plug for your charger.

Excellent location, very close to the main square. Breakfast with a great variety of foods, fruits, sweets etc. The room was very comfortable for our family. Reception polite, gently answered all our questions and gave us a leaflet with the best restaurants and places to go.
The only thing is that they charged us twice before our arrival (five days and one day before we arrived) and when we left, they assured us that the money will be back in a couple of days. Today, 10 days after, the money is still not available.

The break was superb, couldn't fault it, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The location so close to the centre of town was so convenient. Hotel has parking under the hotel which is accessed via a car lift, the turn is a bit tight with a large car but managed it.

Location locations location! A very grand hotel in the public areas, rooms extremely basic and boring.
We’ve paid for the grand 4 star experience and got a two star room, so I feel we were ripped off. They would not let us check in one minute before 15:00 and we were sitting right in front of the reception. We had to get up and ask if our room was ready, only then they took notice of us. We sat there for over an hour without them talking to us or offering us anything while waiting for the room. They did store our luggage earlier while we went on our first walk in the town, but was surprised when we collected it and had red tags on our suitcases, which means we are checking out! Seems like the are really disinterested in their guests.

Our room was in the new wing so we didn’t get the exposure of the grand hotel experience. However it was very comfortable and roomy. The staircase to the elevators was unusual in that they built a luggage ramp so one could easily drag or roll a case up it to reach the elevators. It’s made of the same quartz like material as the stairs.

Beautiful hotel in an old palace that was very well located. The breakfast was plentiful. I would stay again when next in Bruge.

Very typical chain hotel - clean tidy and efficient. The hotel bar prices were in line with those you would pay in the city of Bruges which was a nice surprise! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
The car park was really tight and I think if we had a bigger car it would've caused problems! Entrance is off a one way street and tight cornering into a lift that takes you down under the hotel. The ceiling in the car park is low in places so we had to be careful we didn't catch the boot of the car when it was opened (hatchback).

Amazing location very close to everything and a beautiful hotel , also the staff were all excellent, helpful and super kind.
Wellness and spa center was perfect after a long day of walking. They have very good massage therapists that combine massage with what it seemed reiki techniques, we were not expecting this but were happily surprised!

Lovely room on top floor. Great air conditioning. Bathroom had shower and separate tub. Luxurious towels and robes. Loved the bar rooms. Very old world. Extremely soundproof room. Breakfast buffet good.
