Charming little hotel (9 rooms) about a ten minute walk from the city centre. It was close to all the attractions, but far enough away that nights were quiet. It's also quite close to one of the canals, which was a pleasant way to walk. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of options. The woman who laid it out each morning was so kind and friendly. Our room was modest but very clean. It had a huge window that faced the tower in the town square. We loved this reasonably priced little room in such a beautiful city.
There's no elevator - it wasn't a problem, but would be if you have mobility issues.

The location is great, the owner is nice. The fact that there isn't an elevator was an inconvenient but I managed to take my luggage upstairs. The breakfast is good.

If we closed the window there was no oxygen in the small room..There was not any type of anti mosquito spray/ liquid in the hotel but Bloody Mosquito patches were everywhere on the walls and it was not even the same room as its shown on booking.com double room gallery. Trash was at the door entrance for almost 2 days. It was too pricy for what we got there.

The breaktfast was exceptional. Furthermore, the service was really nice. They have a cute dog that is "helping" as best as he can, he is called Louie. The hotel is located in proximity of the city centre, you can reach any destination by foot.
The rooms didn't have a designated heater. Instead, the hotel used some sort of heating system that didn't allow us to dry our jackets on some heated rack. That was a slight inconvenience. Otherwhise, we were really happy.

Crazy steep historic steps, that are much smaller than most feet, to climb with luggage as all rooms involve stairs. If any mobility issues this property would not suit. 1 shower was not functioning but we could work around that. Only reported on checking out as 1 night stay only. Lots of breakfast options provided, generous buffet style spread.

The location of the hotel was great. It was within walking distance to the main town center which was our reason for booking. The room was clean and tidy with coffee for the morning.
The host did not convey there was a timeframe for check in. We arrived at 9pm and could not get into the hotel as no staff were present and no one to answer the phone. After about an hour of waiting, we’re finally able to get into our room but still did not see any staff for the entirety of our stay. No breakfast was served and there was no heater in the room for the winter months.
To stay in Bruges, pick another choice, I strongly recommend you to stay out of this place, you can find cheaper places with better service

The location is perfect, it was nice that the bathroom had a bathtub and the size of the bedroom was ok...
HOWEVER, the bedding was definitely not up to standard. The mattress was sinking, the blanket was not even the width of the bed (and to make matters worse, two blankets were stuffed in the same set of sheets) making it very uncomfortable to sleep at two in the bed, the pillows were just awful and lumpy, the sheets had this slight smell of cigarette (they were definitely washed but smelled as if they had been stored in a space used to receiving smoke).
We booked this bedroom as a nice getaway with our one year old spending the night for the first time at his grand-parents', needless to say, we did not experience the night we were both looking forward to.
When I tried to share my feedback with the owner the next morning, she did not even let me finish my list of things to say, refused to even apologize and just said I should have told her before, acting as if I was the one in the wrong. While I do agree on paper, we did not get into bed before 11pm and we should not be expected to change rooms late in the evening to be able to spend a good night sleep, the bedding should have been up to standard in the first place, this was not an issue of "this pillow is too hard to my taste".
When I said to the owner that the least she could do at that point was apologize for our bad experience, she refused and even said that these were minor details when spending the night in a hotel. The bedding being mediocre should not matter when booking a night in a 168€ bedroom?!? If that is her attitude when accomodating guests, she should definitely not call herself professional. I will definitely never set foot back in this establishment and would advise anyone thinking about booking room at this hotel to reconsider their choice.
A simple sorry and a desire to listen to what I had to say to make things better for the next customers could have helped me get over this, but the owner could not even do that and should not get away with this.

There was no hairdryer in our room, but the receptionist allowed us to borrow it from them every day we needed to use it. The room had a mini fridge, which was very convenient.
I didn't like the bathtub because the shower glass protection was not too wide, so the floor would get instantly wet.
The day we arrived, the bed was not properly made. The bed linen was clean but was not straight, which did not give a nice 1st impression.
The kettle in the room was not properly cleaned, so we could not use it.
There is no lift in this hotel.
