The Monet Hotel is great value for the price. Our room with two twin beds was spacious and clean. For breakfast, you could choose from a few options. These included pancakes (which are similar to French crepes), eggs with cheese and a dish that includes vegetables, a hard boiled egg, some cheese and meat. There is a nice outdoor seating area. Staff were very kind and helpful. We took the train to Plovidiv. The hotel is not very close to the station so we took a taxi to get there. We like walking though, and did not mind walking to the city center.

Nice hotel in walking distance from the very center of ancient Plovdiv. It have free parking in front of the hotel. Very polite and charming Italian gentleman running restaurant. Room and hotel itself are nicely decorated.
Staff don't speak foreign languages. Although I tried to reserve parking it was not really reserved and I found space by pure luck.

Spacious and nicely decorated rooms.
The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel is at a hight level.
Near the old town.
Friendly ladies at the reception.
The breakfast is good but could be more plentiful.
You can choose from few menus.
But menu with included just two pancakes is definitely too weak.

The hotel is a little far from the city center if you walk by feet, but clean. The room is not so big but clean and the carpet is new, modern, red furniture.
Things did not liked were the coffe and the juice at breakfast. You can choose between three types of breakfast which is ok for me, but the coffe is awful and the juice is not natural and very sweet, only sugar. Choose a tea, maybe and have a coffee in the city

The only thing that I didn't like was the mattress. Maybe it should be replaced with a new one. I found myself in a large hole when I layed the first time. Luckily I found a place on the side of the mattress that wasn't so bad, so I was able to get some sleep.

Plenty of parking was available right outside the hotel on the street, for no charge.
The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful, (this seems to be a thing in Bulgaria, as all the staff in all the hotels we visited were excellent).
Our room was very large.
The funky decor all over the hotel, including the bedrooms, was a refreshing change to the more usual reserved hotel style.
I liked the shower (powerful and hot), and the bed was the best on our trip - very large and extremely comfortable.
The location is a bit far from the old town. Maybe a 20 min walk, but quite safe.
Breakfast wasn't included in the price.
We visited in November and at this time, the A/C is centrally controlled, meaning that you cannot cool the room. Surprisingly the room was quite warm (an unusually warm period of weather). So the only way of cooling was to open the window. It worked, but there was traffic noise.

Mattresses were old with pits, it was not comfortable to sleep. One pillowcase was dirty, I asked receptionist to change it and she brought clean one but with a hole. Hairdryer was old, ventilation in bathroom was poor.

Very kind staff. Parking right in front of the hotel. The room was clean, and the mini bar was well loaded, and so was the bathroom. Good value for money!
The bathroom was pretty dark, with only two small lights in there. The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. In the hallway was a strong cigarette smell from some other room.

Hotel is on the edge of town and chosen because secure garage parking for motorbike.
It is possible to walk to the town centre and the bonus is... you pass through some 'community' areas, small parks and restaurants that serve their local 'blocks of flats'.
The breakfast choice was a little restrictive, but for the price... no complaints :)

During our stay neither the central heating nor the heat pump were not working, no running water in the morning (no warning at the reception), the fire alarm went on in the whole hotel. Our room had windows on two sides, the courtains are not thick enough to make the room dark.

It is easy to park in front of the hotel, which is perhaps the best feature of the hotel. The hotel is also very close to the small basilica and isn't that far from the old city either. The room was warm, which was nice for winter.
Some of the utilities in the room had some issues but nothing too serious.

The location of the hotel was very closed to city center. Hotel is very clean and has a parking area. The room and around was very clean.
There was no hot water and no reaction to repair. We could not get shower during our stay. The sink was clogged, the water was not flowing. Therefore, it created a dirty appearance.

The room was clean and comfortable, spacious enough, good bathroom. The staff was excellent and very polite. The breakfast was very delicious. The location i quite good, less than 2 km from the very center. Overall it is a very good place to stay in Plovdiv, I will stay there again for sure :) p.s. I really like when the breakfast is until a bit later, in this case till 11:00 as I don't have to wake up too early :)
