Just a three or four minute walk from Serdika metro station with a direct link to Sofia airport on yellow Line 4 which takes around 25 minutes, this property is also perfectly located in the city centre with an easy walk to all the historic sights, museums, theatres, bars and restaurants, very friendly and helpful staff on the desk, breakfast had a wide choice of pastries, cheese, meat, salad, fish, eggs, bacon, sausage etc, yes my mattress was soft but it did not stop me sleeping and the room was otherwise clean and well equipped, great value too, recommended!

The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk from the metro and 10 minutes from the main center street. The room was large enough for one or two people. It was comfortable, the bed was good, even tough it was cold outside it was hot in the room, I had to turn off the heating and it stayed warm the whole nights. The bathroom was specious and good. The breakfast was great and the staff was very kind.

Location is excellent, close to all government agencies as well as tourist sites. The staff was very helpful, lending me an electric heater when I mentioned that the room was too cold.
The room was extremely tiny, without even a desk to work on, except a narrow space on the desk which also held the tv. But it was quite dark to work there. Internet was OK for downloading emails, but was not that reliable when teleconferencing. The shower had a door, but still, I could not avoid flooding the floor of the bathroom every day. The breakfast is not a buffet, but you are given loads of stuff, most of which goes to waste. Smaller amount, better quality (especially of bread and pastries) would be preferred.

Perfect location in the center near a metro station. The hotel has a unique vibe, there is remarkable art everywhere. The design of the hotel is very elegant and the breakfast room is very beautiful.

I've stayed at this hotel several times now, and it's one of my top choices when I'm traveling and need to stay in Sofia for a night or two. My room this time seemed recently renovated and looked quite new and clear. The bathroom was spacious, with plenty of space to hang towels or put my toiletries. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast is buffet style and includes quite a few options. The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to explore Sofia's city center but doesn't want the crowds and noise of Vitoshka.
Since I had to work during my current stay, I was really disappointed in the WiFi connect. I can't even say it was slow; rather, it was non-existent and I couldn't even do basic things like check/respond to email. As for Zoom calls, I had to reschedule all for the next day when I returned home. Bad internet connections at hotels in the center of Sofia are super frustrating, considering Bulgaria has such fast Internet. If you don't plan to work during your stay, though, this is an excellent hotel to consider.

I stayed at this hotel before, and it is just as I remember it. Staff great and location were great. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the included breakfast this go around, but from what I remember it was above average with plenty great items to choose from.
The carpet in the room was a bit dirty. And though they resolved the issue the next day, my PIN code did not work to get back into the hotel after hours the first day. But all was good after that.

The location is fantastic in the historical center, steps from major sights, the main subway station, and the main boulevard. The breakfast was also excellent, as many previous reviews have noted. Check-in was easy, and there is an access code to enter the building after reception hours. The room was simple but comfortably sized and had AC, a small fridge, a tea/coffee maker and big windows.
The bathroom was quite outdated and tiny. You are paying for the location, the larger room size (in the case of the studio) and the common areas (paintings on the walls, very nice breakfast/bar area). Still worth it, in my opinion.

The blankets on the beds are too small for the beds so two people cannot fit under the blanket - all our rooms had this problem.
First night in, everyones room only had one towel for two people and no one to help with that at 11pm.
The elevator was never available or constantly got stuck on other floors or was in use by the maids. We were mostly all on the too floors and had to walk up and down 5 levels everytime.
Many small thing need repair.
The showers were hot but constantly fluctuated between cold and hot - I think they are affected by other clients using water.
