We were surprised at how beautiful the hotel is and attention to details on the facade of the hotel and by the staff.
It was the most comfortable stay we have had in Bulgaria.
Breakfast was great! The options and requests to our needs were always met.
The staff was exceptional - especially concierge! They were so wonderful in accommodating our requests.
The room service menu was wonderful.
The location of the hotel was fantastic with the metro line a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
It is located at the University area so close proximity to the sites
There are many shops and restaurants around within walking distance.
I would 100% recommend this hotel to first time travellers to Sofia who was to enjoy a luxurious treat to their holiday.
There was nothing in particular that I didn't enjoy. Everything about the hotel fit into what we wanted from a property like this.

The location initially appealed but the quality of the hotel and the exceptional service made the world of difference. Sayda and the team at the front desk couldn't be more helpful. Wonderful room facing the cathedral and square (and the same view I had 39 years ago when it was a very different hotel). The two restaurants were excellent; the bell staff and cleaners very friendly and responsive, A very special hotel. Little things were special too: extra drinking water; ability to open the window; bedside charging; walk in shower; good reading lights; a good desk to work at etc etc.

The room was clean and comfortable. But the hotel staff was very serious and they never smiled or let us feel welcomed, they wasn’t rude but not friendly at all. The location was fine but far from the main street, you need 15 minutes walking distance to get there.

The location is perfect, and you can reach everything by foot. In case you are not into walking, you can use a subway which you have just around the corner. The room was really spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also really good. The hotel staff is always smiling and really helpful.

Excellent service; spacious rooms; the location of the hotel is very central and convenient. The Ador restaurant downstairs has among the best quality food I have had in Sofia, and its patio is ideal for relaxing after a busy day!
The 'hot' water didn't really get hot. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't 'hot' either. That was the only disappointment as someone who enjoys hot showers.

Central location with beautiful views, we were upgraded to a room with the best views! Staff is wonderful, courteous and friendly, all speak fluent English. Breakfast was amazing, with many local and international food options. We have recently stayed in the Miami Intercontinental in Florida, but found the Sofia hotel better maintained and superior in terms of service and food. We booked due to travel disruptions passing through Sofia but were glad of the delay as it allowed us to experience all that this hotel had to offer.

Staff was rude, particularly the male employee who delivered clean towels to our room. Extremely, Extremely RUDE! Something I had never experienced before in a foreign country.
The male employee at the front desk also greeted me with an attitude of how 'I should know' where the garage is and where to park. Not impressed at all.
Overall, this was a common occurrence in the country of Bulgaria. They are not very appreciative or welcoming of Americans visiting their country.
In summary, will not be returning to Bulgaria ever again!

Very cold, in the room were 18.5 degrees Clesius. They gave us an heater to increase the room tempreture, but it was old and it could not make it. We woke up freezing several times during the nigh to turn on the heater, it was very bad night. Probably they save on heating costs, but its unacceptable for such hotel.

We had a fantastic room with a panorama window looking toward the cathedral, old parliament building, park and patriotic statues. The view, especially at night, was magical. The location was within walking distance to historic buildings, as well as restaurants and shopping. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including smoked salmon and local specialties. The concierge was friendly and helpful, as well as desk staff.
The dinner menu and dishes could be better.

Location, reception stuff who were so nice and polite, the unit that has been given was amazing, hotel as usual is at a very central and easy accessible location
First of all, the restaurant stuff was so rude and unprofessional. We stayed two nights and we had two morning breakfast in that place. I do not know from where to start. We were not asked for our order single time, it was so funny to watch that tables around has been asked for their final orders and me being passed.I was with two small kids and due to that I was treated like an alien. It was expected to ask for everything three times at least. Even I got a response “Kitchen is busy you have to wait”, this was after 20 min wait for a simple crepe :) Second , place was over subscribed, finding a place was impossible. Overall, the money you are paying for the place and treatment you are getting is not worthed.. Due to my final experience with them, I am not recommending the place

Overall it was good. It was clean and the bathroom was nice to use.
The large windows were nice, but they needed cleaning. They didn't open very well, which was a bit uncomfortable, and they needed cleaning. Also, the room service and minibar prices were a bit high, which made me hesitate a bit.

Very nice location, right in the center of Sofia. Nice restaurants inside!
The hotel room amenities did not meet my expectations; there was a reconstruction right in front of the main entrance. Nobody even tries to assist you or apologize.
