The location was just perfect. Parking was decent but it was like CAD 35 with tax. Thankfully we had read the reviews and knew what to expect from the room. Like we knew there was no fridge and that parking costs extra so we were mentally prepared for that. Otherwise the stay was not too bad we had a decent time. Check-in and check out was also smooth.
Offcourse not having a fridge was an issue and not having a proper kettle to heat water. It would have been nice to have those appliances.

The staff do not know customer service with the customers concerns , cleaning, no tv in room as well water running in the toilet. The front desk manager only walks around and does not resolve concerns. Also the communication as the photo with the writing on the napkin she’s communication from the cleaning staff on how to operate the toilet and stop the running of the water… in Spanish !! And the soiled bed and towels were photos taken at 5:30 PM on my 2 nd day with no cleaning of the room after I put the sign on the door !! However the great manager on the front desk said those signs don’t work! The guest needs to ask the front desk to clean the room.. be warned of this property !!

Trouble on check out because they forgot to charge for parking (and never apologized for it).
Too expensive for a place with grafites on the elevator door and mirror.

The location was perfect, probably one of the best, just a short walk to the metro and city center. I had read the reviews so I knew what to expect and was not disappointed with anything. The rooms weren’t the greatest, but for the price we paid, they were fine and looked clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I am lactose intolerant and also sensitive to gluten, the breakfast had 0 options for me so all I ended up only getting a black coffee (no lactose free alternative as well for the milk) and went to eat somewhere else.

we were charged more when we reached the hotel as it was midnight and they took advantage of our situation as it was raining and we had baby with us.
No microwave and bar fridge in the room to store or heat up baby's milk. We asked for baby's milk and staff at midnight said they can't provide us with that. Parking was paid and it doesn't say that on the website. Rooms were not clean. Sheets were clearly not changed.
On top of evrything even after paying parking there was a notice on our car to pay 100 dollars in the morning and we had to go to reception to explain that we have already paid.

They collected security deposits of 250CAD twice making a total of 500 CAD from me, and they refused to refund any of the deposits till date. They are not responding to my mails and they no longer respond to my calls. I am not based in Montreal . I only went there for rest and recreation.
I consider this act fraudulent, but what can I do?

Breakfast is worth nothing and it was a bad surprise having to pay 35$ for 1 night parking space without informing the clients beforehand - everything we had to pay for was explained one by one with the respective prices but there was no information about the parking charge, it made us believe that it would be free! Had I known that I would have to pay 35$ for the parking, I would have taken a more expensive hotel with free parking option!

What I liked about the Lelux Hotel was that it was easy to walk to restaurants and to Old Town Montreal.
Walking into the front desk area, the area was very dusty, dirty windows, and the side tables had water stained marks on the tables.
Our room was clean but lacked in a couple of areas.
I'm not sure if this is a Montreal thing or what, but they do not give out hair condition or lotion for your rooms?
My comforter had a big tear, and there was blood stain on it...Yuk!
The neighborhood looked very sketchy, and the building beside it was dilapidated and condemned. Will not stay here again.

I'm a transgender woman and the young lady manning the front check-in desk was going out if her way to insert the word "Sir " into as many places as she could with that being said I was there at like 1130 am made an appointment from the app . There's being kinky and there's being just nasty..
I had all my IDs and passport stolen at a music festival 2 weeks ago and as such I was careful to look in the legal language and anything in regards to needing a photo I'd to check in and the ONLY instance I found was a mention about if you do t have a credit card then you can leave a 250$depeosit or have 2 govt issued photo IDs no where did it ever say that I needed to produce one no matter whAt to check in to my room. . that being said time from booking the hotel to walking in their front door was literally 5 minutes . So I doubt they lost the ability to rent that room again because of 5 minutes when THEY THEMSELVES cancelled my order and trained to get me in trouble..well that's rediculous and truly shady business practice a d the 2 young ladies making audible comments about me being Transgender and I was a bit descheveled from a long voyage when I arrived at the hotel so I'm pretty sure it was just the fact that I'm Trans and it/me doesn't go to well together with their strict " Muslim moral codes " and all and they still had the audacity to charge me for a room that I didn't cancel they did . I made every effort to look for any mention of keys and not a sole around there would help me..

Didn’t like the fact that I was being Over charged by Staff even though I had booked way in advance , I made my reservations through Booking.com and had reserved to pay at property a total of $680 + tax 145 , got to check in and was asked to pay $1250 , had I not raised a complaint in asking why I was being overcharged I would have had to pay so this is quite frustrating as the young lady blamed not having communication from Booking for my reservation hence the additional payment which didn’t make any sense .

The location is okay, it's closed to the public transportation
The breakfast is monotonous, with the same menu every day. The rooms don't even have a microwave, and the kitchen microwave is not accessible. The hotel doesn't provide a receipt when you pay; they always claim to have a problem with their printer. The worst part is that I never got back the deposit I left over a month ago. The hotel confirms they have refunded it, but my bank says they haven't received it, and it's been almost two months.
Unreliable regarding the deposit; after almost 2 months, I still haven't gotten my deposit back! Theu nerver answer the phone!

The room was comfortable and quiet. It is in a great location near the gay village and the Metro stop. It was a great hotel for the money we paid. It also offered a free continental breakfast which is always a nice bonus when travelling.
There was no phone in our room. I had to go to the front desk to inform them that our TV wasn't working and there was no phone in the room. I didn't want to get charge for a missing phone. Also they charge a $250 security deposit which I find rather steep for a one night stay.
