This hostel is amazing! Everything feels very new and clean. The bunk beds are super spacious and comfortable, I especially liked all the little shelves. It was nice having a bathroom just for our dorm room and it was never too busy. The staff are also super friendly and quick to help. Location wise, you're right by downtown and stations for public transport, so you never have to walk too far. I'd absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Montreal!
Someone in my room sounded very sick, which was a bit unnerving, but I know the hostel can't do anything about that.

It was a four-person room, but only three of us used it. The bedding was clean and the mattress was soft. I liked that each bed had a curtain for privacy. There was an power socket at each bed, and the light could be turned on and off individually.
I wish there had been a hairdryer. Also, one person came in late after drinking and snored, so I couldn’t sleep deeply.

Definitely my favourite hostel in Montreal so far. Summer months are best.
The duffle bags with bedding and towel at check in is a nice touch to keep things clean and separate.
Atmosphere is friendly and bubbly, with well thought out open spaces to relax.
Staff are professional, responsive and helpful ( Thank you to the lovely security guys that tried to help me rescue my phone from the washer).
Design of the hostel with glass around some of the original architecture was smartly done.
The breakfast buffet (albeit at extra cost), jaccuzi and open patio, coin laundry, self serve kitchen, cafetria style dining areas, and club amenities are all great options for the incredible prices.
The shared facilities and especially bathrooms are maintained, and provided privacy.
And lastly, but more importantly, clear policy rules and social guidelines made my experience feel more at home.

I would have put a 10 only for the French girl from Toulouse at the front desk who was very nice, helpful and kind. The hostel looks good, it is pretty clean.
What I didn't like was the neighbourhood, coming back after sunset (7pm which is not a crazy hour) felt very unsafe, the area is sketchy so I wouldn't stay here again. Then, also, the dorm room was supposed to be for women only but all the time there were guys in the room, more people than was supposed to be in the room, people knocking on the door at 2...3...4am...making so much noise, it wasn't the hostel's fault, but I would have appreciated more control over who's getting in the rooms. So even if the hostel is beautiful, I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms were clean and the people considerate. Had everything needed for spending the night comfortably and the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi were a great bonus. Overall had a great stay!
The bedframe was fully metal so it was a bit hard to move stuff quietly at night.

Cleanliness is fantastic, friendly atmosphere, cheap buffet breakfast available, storage for bags felt secure, huge shared kitchens. Public transport options very close to hostel. I will absolutely be staying here again.
The area can be a bit sketchy but that comes with being near the Downtown part of a city. Make sure you bring your own body wash & laundry detergent.

I had such a great time at M Montreal Hostel! The facilities were fantastic, and everything looked so modern and well-kept. The bed was super comfy, the whole place was spotless and the breakfast was surprisingly good—a perfect way to kick off the day. Plus, the location was unbeatable, with easy access to restaurants, shops and everything Montreal has to offer.
Overall, it was a great deal for the price and I’d definitely stay there again.
I didn’t give a perfect score because I believe there’s always room for improvement.

Best facilities I have experience at a hostel, full kitchen awesome lounge and great entertainment/ bar. Great location.
It is way too cold in the room I slept with two jackets you are not supposed to increase the heat. At the end of the day a hostel is somewhere you can sleep hopefully comfortably. Great facilities cannot replace a good night sleep, very disappointed. I mean it is COLD!!!!!!!!

One of the best (if not the best) hostel I have stayed in ever. It’s right in the city centre. The area is great for getting to many places by foot, plenty of cafes and places to eat. It is professionally cleaned every day. The best thing is that each bed has a curtain! So you get as much privacy as you can get in a hostel. Recommend! 10/10! Thank you.
Some people who stay in hostels are just pigs. They think that since they only spend one night there they can be filthy and leave the place dirty. But the property itself - can’t give it even one bit of criticism.

The mattress and pillows could be more comfortable, and basic toiletries like soap would be a welcome addition. The value is decent, though light sleepers should be aware that noise from neighboring rooms can be an issue.

It was a very clean room.
I booked this place for a one night stay three months ahead of time. I called the hotel right after I booked and asked about parking. I was told that the hotel provide the parking and the only thing I need to do is to pay for the parking the day that I check in. However, upon our arrival we were told that the parking is full and they don't provide the parking. The assistant said I should have booked the parking ahead of time. After that, they wrote an address for us to park in Indigo near the hotel. The indigo parking was full also. So we had to park in street and move our car multiple times to avoid getting ticket. It was a very frustrating experience. Also, they don't have card to carry your luggages to your room, so we had to carry everything by hand. It is good to mention that they don't offer hairdryer in unit. Also, the balcony was locked by manager. So, we weren't allowed to use it. We couldn't use the Snooker also, as it was closed. We had a very bad experience with our friends in this place. I don't know why this place has a high rating.
