Great, central location, with nearby restaurants. The auberge is very clean and the desk staff was very friendly, and having the balcony overlooking Rene-Levasque (street) is fun, and having a little kitchen area (no stove) on the 2nd floor is a really nice plus, along with a small refrigerator.

The room is rather tight for 3 and was not the picture that was advertised. When you have suitcases open, there really isn't much walkable space. You have to mind what you keep in the fridge on the 2nd floor, as I had leftover food and a bottle of wine that either got tossed or taken by another guest when I went to get it the next day. Also, I would recommend parking around the corner at the indoor garage rather than parking at the hotel, as the parking lot is (very) small and you have to worry about scraping your car.

Lovely little hotel , free bus passes was a bonus , lovely stone wall room with use of communal kitchen facilities, room was better than expected , whole feel of hotel was very good , staff on front desk was friendly and the girl could not be more helpful , location 5 min bus straight down the same road finds you in old town , you could easily walk it in 15 min - also 2 min walk from hotel is a nice local neighbourhood with some bars , restaurants , chemists , and stores really nice feel to the area

We were told there was parking at the hotel, the reason we picked it, we did NOT get parking at hotel, we are 3 seniors, and our room was in a  attic on the fourth floor, which was large but many place to hit your heads . Also it was a lot of stairs with our luggage, and there was no help . Had to park down street in a office building, which was confusing to get there due to all the construction . And we also had to pay for it.

The location is very good - (long) walking distance to the old city and other sites. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The check in was a bit weird - no reception after 5. The auberge is a bit of a labyrinthe so finding our rooms was not easy. The auberge is very expensive for what it is. My friends left some chocolate and cookies in the common fridge and they were taken by someone.

Location was excellent. New receptionist was lovely and tried her best.

Given the wrong room. Wasn’t able to resolve until 2pm the next day. Told we would have to return immediately and move all our bags if we wanted to change, which was impossible since we were already out. We were missing a bed and told by the incredibly rude night manager that 3 beds was enough, even though we had clearly booked 4, being 4 people staying. There was a door into the room that all public areas could access freely and we could not lock ourselves! He only came to give us bedding for the fourth “bed” (fold out arm chair) when we said about the room being completely unsecured to the public areas, so he came to lock us in. The afternoon receptionist the next day refused to adjust the price despite us being given a smaller room that didn’t match the description, pictures, or have the booked number of real beds. We were told we had to move our car in the middle of the day, which we refused as we were out exploring the city. Ridiculously rude and unhelpful service throughout the stay. Quick to blame guests, booking.com or other colleagues instead of just taking responsibility for obvious mistakes. Completely creepy to have back doors in the room that open into public/staff areas and no ability to secure from inside.

When I stayed here before I was in the old part of the hotel - very charming and comfortable. This stay I was in their annex which is like an upscale hostel - I was very disappointed in the rooms. The staff were friendly but not available to assist with problems. The fridge in our room never worked. The same for the tv in our friends’ room.

We didnt see any staff, execpt for the first day, a nice lady, but I rated Excellent for cleanliness and this lady. The rooms were very confortable, well distributed, kind of architectural and even if there were other people, we always felt like we were the only ones. As everybody sadis, the location is the best for this place. And I liked the fact that you come and go anytime, as there s a password to the door, no need of someone opening it.

Tha palm plants were let to dry. I watered while there and did some trim on them, but, those plants only need water. They will be beautiful in summer. By the way, I adooore plants!

The room is comfortable. The colors and decoration are pleasant. The location is great, within a short walking distance of Old Quebec. There was no breakfast available. In the coffee room, there was no keurig coffee available, only a brewing machine with coffee in envelopes. The security is not so good because if something goes wrong, there are no after-hours staff.

The toilet could only be flushed once, after it could not be flushed. The bedroom key worked three times, I had to leave the keys in the bedroom (unlocked) when I left the last day. At 8h30 in the morning, on Saturday, there was nobody at the reception desk or elsewhere. I could not ask for help.

A/C blows directly onto the master bed, cannot stop it as the windows are permanently shut, so had to sleep with constant cold air blow in my face. As the room is converted attic with slopped ceilings - while the floor space is sufficient, constantly have to watch your head not to hit the ceilings. Same in the toilette.

the location was fantastic.

We did not get the room we selected. Instead of 2nd floor we were put in the basement, and told the hotel was full. they moved us the second night. They charged us for parking when street parking would have been free. Staff were difficult to reach. Bookings.com did not help.

Location was perfect for exploring the city. There are local bus stops very nearby and our hosts even gave us a free 3 day bus pass which was so helpful! Our loft room was so quaint, spacious, and felt like home! Bathroom was very modern and nice. Kitchenette was perfect for an easy breakfast! Coffee grinds, filters, cream and sugar were all provided.

We would have liked to open a window in the evenings for some fresh air, but it didn't seem that any of them opened.

It was a 15 minute walk to the Chateau Frontenac area. Parking on-site was helpful.

Good location, easy to get to old city but also nice to be by street with grocery, restaurants, easy walk to beautiful park.

Was hard to communicate unless you spoke French, we stayed 4 days and absolutely no servicing the room during that time. The towels were not changed (after 3 days, the bathmat and hand towel were ready to be refreshed) and we ran out of toilet paper. Parking was tight getting in and out.

The location was very good. The inn provided us with a 3 day bus pass which we used each day.

The bathroom shower floor in Room 13 was a large hole with two rubber bath mats laid over it. If one stood on this very unstable surface, your foot would sink into the large wide hole. Water ran out everywhere from the shower stall when we tried to use it the first time without realizing how bad it was. Frank, the extremely kind caretaker, offered us to go up the stairwell to use another bathroom. He could not change our room as the inn was full. I’ve never seen anything like this in a hotel/inn. They should not be renting this room.

Easy access, clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were extremely considerate. There is a parking possibility which is very practical. I was even lucky to be able to park my car in the garage. Worth mentioning is also that there is the possibility to get a bus ticket through the hotel which is very practical to go directly to the city center (2-3 stops) from the bus stop which is located very close by. There is an access to a common kitchen area for hot water and coffee or to eat small self-brought meal.

There were coffee and hot chocolate available to the guests for breakfast. One improvement could be to offer tea as well.

Nice location two blocks from a nice neighbourhood street for restaurants and shopping. The room was small and in the basement level in a heritage building with stacked stone walls. Beautifully decorated and clean. We were offered an upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary, which we accepted.

Quite small and window at ground level so lacked privacy when blinds open.

I rarely post bad reviews but this was a terrible choice and want to help others. Room was underground Tiny room you can barely move Mold in the bathroom. Bad smell. No air filter Beds not comfortable at all 25dollars for a Tiny parking in the back yard Super expensive for what it offered

The hosts were kind, helpful and friendly. My basic queen room was very comfortable and lovely, and the attic "family" room that my boys stayed in was amazing, with a small kitchenette and living room area that we used to hang out together. There are also a number of pretty balcony and patio common areas in which to relax. The hotel is easy walking distance to a street with many restaurants and cafes. It's a longer 25 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride to the tourist areas downtown. This was a great find!

There was instant coffee and tea available, but I do wish they offered a continental breakfast for convenience in the mornings. Out host said they used to do this until COVID-19 happened.

The proximity to rue Ste Jean and Cartier was excellent. So many wonderful restos and bars. Jalisco Tacos and Drinks as well as Billig were stand outs. There is a shared kitchen if you choose to eat in.

It could have been cleaner. It was over $600 for 2 nights for 2 adults and one child.

It is a great location and has great atmosphere.

The coffee is out of the room in a communal kitchen and everyone has to wash and put away their cups. It’s a bit like a co op.

room was up a long flight of stairs- bad if you have heavy luggage parking is very tight, you will need precise driving skills to get in and pay for the option too no tea one set of old school keys might not work for all guests this room would really benefit from a folding privacy screen for the tub which is in full sight of the bed- va voom :)

The promised breakfast was not provided! The room was extremely small for five people, and it did not provide enough space for unpacking and storing our belongings. There was no space to sit comfortably anywhere except the beds! We raised this to the hosts and received a rude answer.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating and the location was fantastic for exploring Quebec City.

The only real negative was the narrow stairs which was a bit tricky for my husband to navigate, especially with heavy bags (we were going on a cruise).

Superb location and the owners were especially helpful in indicating directions.

The room is slightly below grade, with windows out to a garden, but we were really in a basement. However, plenty of light and really convenient kitchenette just outside the room.
