It was in a quiet area of a busy but quaint city. Local cafes and restaurants were within walking distance. Hotel Le Saint Paul is not in a touristy part of town but within walking distance of all that Quebec City has to offer. This boutique hotel was similar to those in Spain and Italy we frequent. Main attractions were easy to navigate to. GPS worked everywhere. Best of all it was a 6 minute walk thru a lovely park from the Via Rail station. They stored our bags while we toured the city before check in time after check out. Very pleasant staff. Very clean room

All you have to to do is build a ramp out of wood and when you have a customer that needs it bring it outside so they can use their wheelchair to go inside.

The room was clean and isolated from the outside noise, far from the road. Quite small.
The shower was nice, even so for the very small (but functional) bathroom.
The was a fridge to put our stuff in it (There's a convenient store just in front).
The bed was hard, no bath (even if requested and the hotel was not full), the air conditioning was extremely loud and acting up all night.
There's only a small chair to sit at the desk. If you want to sit somewhere it's either on the bed or the chair. No armchair or anything.
Not a lot of lighting also, the room was dark.
Overall for a 3 stars hotel, not so bad, but for the price, I would have expected a little more comfort and accomodation.

A very pleasant boutique hotel.
Located at the margin of the old city of Quebec, thus having two great advantages - on the one hand, it was a very short walking distance to all the main attractions, on the other hand it was in a quiet street, far from the crowds of tourists. In addition, it was very close to the beautiful promenade along the river and the old port.
My room was in the 4th floor, facing an open view to the opposite side of the old town, which felt airy and was just great.
The room was pleasant, convenient and well equipped.
The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful.
The room had a slight musty/stale odor, perhaps from the wall-to-wall carpet? It did not go away even after leaving the window open for an entire day.

Great location within easy walking distance to many restaurants, museum, Petit Champlain and château Frontenac. Our room was located at the back of the hotel and very quiet. The room was clean but had a faint though annoying ‘farm’ smell. The room had a nice brick wall and relaxing decor. Some of the furniture is cheap/outdated and the bathroom had not been renovated like the ones we saw on pictures. Weather was comfortably warm outside and the silent AC worked as expected.
Pretty expensive given the amenities during high season. Unless you plan on drinking alcohol and don’t want to drive after dinner it’s probably best to lodge away from old Quebec.

Pretty little hotel with very nicely appointed rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It was a great spot from which to explore the city on foot, just enough off the beaten path to avoid tourist crowds, but very close to the Old Town and just a few minutes from Saint Roch, Saint Jean-Baptiste, the port and the Plains of Abraham (we even walked to Montcalm and Saint Sauveur). We had our bikes with us, and although there's no "bike garage" proper, they very nicely kept our bikes in the back office. We also loved the many galleries and other shops nearby.
It was all great. Might be challenging for people with disabilities, though (I don't think there's an elevator).
