The room were spacious, and well equipped. Location is perfect in the center of Quebec. Near all attractions. The pool area is perfect especially for us because our son wanted to spend time in the pool and we could observe him from the balcony whenever we didn’t want to be there.
The restaurant wasn’t the best. We ordered an in room meal when we reached there. But it was disappointing.

We got there and were told they upgraded our room.as we walked in the room there were two construction workers on scaffle. They worked until 5pm and started pounding out side our window at 7am. Not a relaxing time.
We asked for our originial room back, but they had givin it to someone else. Not a happy moment.

The hotel was beautiful and the style was in keeping with the Old Quebec vibe. The location was perfect…just outside of Old Quebec City making it very convenient to walk while being outside of the high traffic area. The staff was very accommodating. We got off the ship early in the morning and technically weren’t able to check in until 5:00 PM. They held our luggage securely while we toured the area and told us to call at 2:00 to see if the rooms were ready early. We stopped by at noon and the rooms were ready for us.
They only made up the room after a two night stay, so our room wasn’t made up while we were there.

The location turned out to be right on. Once I learned where everything was, it was straight forward. The first day my sister and I got loss. Found ourselves at the bottom of the stairs leading to the Abraham plains. 397 stairs latter we emerged to see the plains. We then had about another 20 minute walk back to the hotel. This turned into an hour as we kept going in a square. I am 77 years old.(we had originally taken the number 11 bus down to the waterfront. 8 minute ride. Very convenient, bus stop seconds away from hotel)
The smell of the pool was overwhelming. I had requested ahead of time that no odour spray be used. Possibly leave a window open. As I did not understand that could not be done, I was disappointed and had a headache and slight sinus problem. The fellow who booked us in upon our arrival did not offer any help. Even though the hotel had responded to my request. We were on the 3rd floor in a suite. I asked if we could go higher up as the smell might not be as bad. The pool area is nice to look at. The Friday nite entertainment was right out my door. Acoustics where not great, the entertainer did his best.
