Check in staff very friendly. Place clean.

Things were quite dated. Staying in condo room you needed to go through a courtyard of sorts that was run down and seemed like a storage area. We did get to peak in room number 1 as door was open and seemed ok. Again things dated and with somewhat of a smell but not dirty.

The location, in Parc des Gouverneurs, between Chateauu Frontenac and the Citadelle is just perfect...just up from Terrasse Dufferin completes the picture! The room, a 2-bed room for 3 people was very comfortable.

The location and character of the hotel are exceptional; it is located in a heritage row facing the Chateau Frontenac beside the Jardin des Gouverneurs which overlooks the St Laurent River. My attractive little room on the top floor had a modern shower-bathroom and a deck looking towards the Citadel.

Communications were not great. I was arriving after 5pm and - without having informed me this would be done - a code to enter was emailed to me at 3pm while I was still travelling. This led to minor complications in getting into the hotel since the staff leaves at 5pm.

The location is great, the hotel is super cute and clean, parking set up is very well organized regardless of some negative notice I read online, the staff is ultra sweet & thoughtful insuring you have everything you need to get set up in your room, even for people who arrive later when they aren’t on site.

The only thing that really caught my attention for not leaving a perfect review was the mold that I spotted in our room’s AC. Being someone who’s very sensitive about this health wise, my mom got very sick because of this once, I was kinda worried and happy we didn’t stay longer than a day. If you are travelling there, or anywhere for that matter make sure you have supplements to prevent mold toxicity and remember to do a mold detox when you get back home.

Offers an excellent location right in the heart of the old city. The rooms are cosy with an antiquated feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a lovely stay.

It's not so much a complaint as it is a warning to others. With the building being so old there are a lot of stairs, so not for limited mobility persons. Also, parking is extremely limited.

The location is unparalleled. Steps from the Citadel and the Terrasse Dufferin. Quiet, in the family room. Reserved pay parking adjacent to hotel. Easy car access. Bathroom/shower were great.

Room felt humid, especially when entering. Dehumidifier did not help. Furnishings were mismatched and very worn. No comfortable seating. Courtyard was overgrown. Hostess was difficult to understand, even in French,

The location was wonderful! The Fairmont Chateau was just across the park from this hotel. Wonderful restaurants, shops, attractions, and the Notre Dame Cathedral were within walking distance. We had the condo, so we had plenty of space for four adults.

There are several staircases in the condo. The bathroom had stairs, and the toilet needs to be secured so it's stable.

We knew when booking that we were getting a small room with a double bed, but this was a late booking for a Saturday of a long weekend. Staff were most helpful and everything went very well. The room was in fact small but it was very clean and restful. The hotel provides parking (for a very reasonable fee) in an area of town where it is hard to come by. The location is ideal if one wants to be close to the historical and cultural centre of Quebec city with plenty of restaurants nearby, the Dufferin Terrace and the Citadel, and to walk down to the Old City. There are some very beautiful rooms in this vintage hotel.

We could hear our neighbours talking in the next room but it didn't last long. On the other hand there was no street noise, so we slept well.

The location was 2 minutes to the boardwalk and the same to the Chateau Frontenac. It is located on a very quiet street with a lovely park just across the street. Many restaurants were less than a 10 minute walk. The room we had was quite large and the bed was very comfortable.

This hotel is old-world. Very European. The stairs are very narrow and you need to take your luggage to your room yourself. As we have stayed at many old hotels in Europe, this was not an issue for us. We had a lovely, quite large room, but the bathroom was extremely small.

Location is fantastic: gorgeous riverfront a block away, sandwiched between 2 parks, and an easy walk to everything in Old Quebec. We stayed in their Luxury Suite which was large, had some character, and a peek-a-boo view of the river. The decor felt dated but the positives outweighed the thrifty vibe. Big, big plus was the parking!

The decor felt dated to be called a luxury suite: random knick-knacks, curtains a bit granny, feeling was a bit of a mish-mash of contents. While the tub was huge, the shower stall was tight.

The bathroom was newly redone. The room was a good size and the location was excellent in old town Quebec City.

Our shower handle had been broken by a previous occupant of the room and we had to get the owners to fix it. We had to walk up 56 stairs to our room and there are no elevators.

location was fantastic , close to everything in old quebec staff were pleasant and tried to help with our situation but it was not in their control (owner was responsible)

the room we were given was smaller that we imagined ,, but that was the least of our concern the bed was a disaster , it had no support and we could not sleep on it without waking up 3 times a night also the walls tired and needed paint the bathroom floor grout was missing , reminded me a cheap dorm room we asked for a better room the next day and they could not move us until the last night of our stay as they were sold out the room to us on the last day (of 5) was completely different and a wonderful change -too bad we had to suffer for 4 other nights - room 15 needs a complete overhaul

The location is the only plus point but not suitable for infirm or elderly persons. On an incline with many steps to and within the property.

The images available online are misleading. Our small double was impossibly small for a couple with luggage. 40 steps up the stairs with suitcases and no assistance offered means it is not an easy stay.

Location is good and enjoyed having a little deck.

The size of the room was actually ridiculous. Had to keep luggage in the bathroom. Could barely Close the entrance door or bathroom door because the double bed was in the way of both doors. The owner was very reluctant to provide coffee pods and not happy when asked for a daily replenishment.

The location was perfect for exploring Old Montreal, both Upper Town and Lower Town. The room had a pretty little outdoor balcony with a cafe table and chair.

Small things but having shampoo and hair conditioner. Is that not standard anymore? The room was a little chilly. The night was cold and windy so I was indoors. I could only get a few TV channels and though I may just have not found them, there seemed to be no Netflix or other free streaming services. None of that would have been a deal-breaker.
