Location was great. Had a corner room with fun views. Friendly and helpful staff knowledgeable about the area. 115 year old building with some character.
Windows are pretty thin, so traffic noise is easily heard. Bathroom was a bit cramped.

The hotel is located in a great locationeasily walkable to Gas Town, Yaletown, and Davie Avenue and an easy trek to Stanley Park. Our room was clean and quiet (located on backside) and the bed comfortable, and the parking fee reasonable. Staff was friendly and responsive (our toilet clogged and had to be cleared).
Although the hotel has been updated with fresh paint and carpeting it is an old building and has some drawbacks. There werent enough outlets to charge electronic devices which could have been fixed if one more lamp had outlets in the base, no complimentary bottled water (at this price point it should be a given), bathroom has a tiny flat space to place toiletry items, and the one elevator is very slow and very small. The bathroom light had to be on to have the outlet on, not great when charging a toothbrush or shaver.

We stay here frequently and enjoy the hotel and location.
Was very disappointed with the staff the last time I stayed as I was overcharged and when I addressed that they clearly made a mistake in not refunding me the 400 deposit but decided to instead refund me the lower amount of the actual room fee 336 they refused to correct it. Making me resort to filing a claim through Visa which they again refused to correct their error. Visa returned the difference to me in the end as my documents clearly identified what was owed. In future I'll watch more closely when I check out from any establishment. Further, at first they didn't bother to refund either and thought they would get away with keeping both! Very disappointing as we've stayed here a number of times. After this I won't be back.

I loved the location. We went for a concert and the hotel was less then a 5 minute walk from the venue. I liked that they offered us a 10% discount to their restaurant upon check in. The front desk workers were very friendly.
I didn't like our view from our room, but not much they can do about that. I didn't like the noise from the street below (sirens, traffic, etc), and I also didn't like the fact that my bed was hard and I could feel the groove in the bed because it was so sunken in.

Good vibe and nice decor. Very clean. Nice mix of new and old. Room are well set up. Good location. About a seven minute walk to the Vancouver City Centre Canada Line. The hotel is right by the Orpheum Theatre.
Heating system is a little tricky but we figured it out.

We needed a place to sleep after a late flight and before an early morning train. Moda hotel was walkable from the rail station. The location is great except its on a major street and we were there on a Saturday night so late night partiers were audible from the fourth floor. There was a slow pulsing low frequency hum that was audible in the room.
For the price I expected a little bit more from this place. A faint smell of smoke was present throughout the property. Everything was a little dog-eared. If you like your beds on the soft side, this is your place. I did not get a great night of sleep here.

The location cannot be beat for this price. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
I had low expectations due to the price. Room smelt and the mattress was HORRIBLE. The dust ruffle on the bed was also very dirty and had some mystery stains. Sheets and bathroom were clean. Since we were only there for the night I wasn't too fussed.

Loved our 2-night stay @ Moda Hotel!
We stayed in a beautiful, clean, spacious King room. Bed was super comfortable.
Reception staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We greatly enjoyed the funky in-house Uva Wine & Cocktail Bar for breakfast, beers, cocktails and dinner.
An Italian restaurant and a sports bar are also part of the hotel but were not frequented by us.
Parking is conveniently located in a safe, locked parking garage opposite the hotel (CAD 23 p/night).
Great location to explore the city and many cafes/restaurants are in the vicinity.
For a quick coffee, Starbucks is 80m down the road. For essentials, Nesters Supermaket is 130m away.
