There was no “don’t disturb sign” so for a place that doesn’t provide fridge or electric kettle, I though maybe they don’t have room service too! And that’s why there is no sign, to hang on door.
Im a private person and I really don’t like anyone in my room while staying at hotels.
Unfortunately without my notice someone came in for cleaning while I was out.
Then when I told the reception about it! They told me I had to ask for a don’t disturb sign from reception! And when I said this is something that should be mentioned during checking in, they dismissed my concern.
So if you care about privacy, remember this. They charge so much but can’t even print and hang a sign!

Clean, very quiet, beds are comfortable and very nice staff. Our room had plenty of light with two large windows, not gloomy at all. Very central location. 5 walking minutes from the lake and 2 minutes from the public transportation. Close to the old town and the Place du bourg du four with all the nice cafés to have breakfast in the sun. Of course, keep in mind, it’s a low budget/affordable hotel so don’t expect the same amenities as in a regular hotel (for instance toilets are in the hallway, no breakfast or coffee maker, the rooms are a bit bare, etc). but it was cleaner than many low budget hotels and the staff was very helpful. Also the city of Geneva offers you public transportation passes with your hotel room. We spent most of the time outside and just wanted a nice, clean, central and affordable room for the night, and it was that.
It’s not really about the property itself, but you have to know that on Sundays, this whole neighborhood is closed, stores, pharmacies, etc. No grocery store nearby. But a lot of restaurants and cafés near the lake, minutes away.

I didn't like anything about this hotel
You enter through the bathroom and since the bathroom opens directly to the hallway, it was uncomfortable to use.
The room was small like a college dorm room. The bed is against the wall, and the door to the bathroom barely has enough room to open next to it.
There was only one plug in the whole room, over the bed. There was a rickety shelf above the bed which was the only place to put things you were charging, it is hard to reach if you are in bed, and it also made the bed uncomfortable to sit in because you would knock your head against the shelf or knock the plugs out of the wall. There was no air conditioning, but they supplied a fan, which could only be plugged in in the single plug above the bed, which made it difficult to get out of the bed on either side. It was much hotter in the room than it was outside.
The hotel appears to be just one floor in a building full of other businesses, so there is no lobby or other common areas to hang out in the hotel. It also made me feel unsafe as there was no separation from the hotel guests and other people using the building. The access to the building and hotel floor wasn't secure.
The decor was a bit shabby and made of low cost items from Ikea. They used a magazine wall rack for a towel holder for example.
My room didn't resemble any of the rooms on the website. This was the worst hotel I stayed at during my three week trip in Switzerland.

I enjoyed this hotel’s location 6-8 minutes walk to Old Town Geneva. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are basic but they have everything you need. Elevators and showers are small. Everything worked well most important. The water was very hot. I slept with my balcony windows open to feel the fresh breeze in September which was refreshing. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The gentleman who checked me in told me about the Red Cross Museum very close to the United Nations. Initially, I didn’t plan to go to the museum but I’m glad that I did. I also visited Old Town at night and during the daytime. Thank you very much for everything!

After 6PM the front door gets locked and it’s a process to reach someone to unlock the door. The hotel is situated in a calm area of Geneva but very well connected. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The Suite was very large and comfortable, with lots of closet space and a nice bathroom.

Perfect location and excellent price at that location. No frills, which is exactly what I was looking for. Roller shades outside the windows allowed the room to get very dark.
Room was a little cold. Faucet didn't extend quite far enough over the sink.

This place is great. It accommodated my brother, father and I with 3 beds on our way in and out of Geneva. The staff is super friendly. The location is central which is great for maximizing time if you only have a short stay in Geneva. Would happily stay here again.

The location is fabulous, between the old town and the main shopping area. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
I had booked the compact room and it was on the smaller side, but comfortable, safe and warm.
I know that the hotel is in the centre of everything, but the room was a bit on the expensive side

The hotel was very accommodating when I needed to change my reservation from 2 to 3 people. The location was truly central and we were able to walk,to places.nearby.
The office is on floor 6. We were glad.for the elevator.

The location was perfect, right between old town and new. Gorgeous balcony! Fabulous staff! Love the 2pm check in time. AC for the
warmer days was exceptional.
It wasnt that we didnt like it, but the historic building means a little older facility which is fine by us. It shows its histroric age a little bit but it is such an amazing stay.
The bathtub was wonderful to have but it was a little difficult to get in and out of.

The room was comfortable and clean. The view was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. And the staff was beyond kind and helpful! They offered to store our luggage both before and after check-in and even let us check-in early on the day of our arrival.
