Most rooms overlook the small square, Vandkunsten. Luggage storage is available in hostel for a small fee. Guests can relax in the lounge, or join in on free walking tours that are organized twice a day.

I'm not sure if I was upgraded but I booked a single capsule/pod, and when I opened it, it was the size of a double bed in side, which was perfect for me and my small suitcase. I could sit up, lay on my back and put my legs straight up in the air, there was a mirror, fan and light. I was extremely comfortable in here. I thought I might here the person above me moving around at night, but I didn't really. I love that I could lock my stuff away in the pod during the day as well.
The keys pads were a bit temperamental and it was hard to remember the codes (I ended up with two different ones, purely my own fault though due to a booking error), so had to walk around everywhere, even to the bathroom, with a bit of paper with the code on in case I got locked out. I was also hoping to have a breakfast downstairs, but they had stopped serving food while I was there, even dinner in the evening. There were also meant to be lots of events on, but they didn't really seem to be happening from what I could see, maybe because it was out of season?

The localization was great, the beds were comfy and clean.
The personnel got mistaken about the pin code and my floor - they told me a wrong floor, so I got into my room after AN HOUR since check-in. I had to come back a few times to the check-in "desk" (in a very loud bar where it's hard to hear) with a long queue every time, to finally get in, and I know other people had the same issues, because I helped one man - who also had gotten a wrong pin code or floor - get into his room.
On my floor, next to my room there was literal construction site. I had an all girls room, but outside of the room male contractors were working since 6am every day, waking us up with some drills, and one had to pass them in one's pajamas to go to the bathroom, which felt weird, cause they would all look at you.
Finally, just fyi, there is no common room that's not a regular bar downstairs, so if you have to call someone you have to do it from a cold corridor with no space to sit, and if you need a place to chill in quiet/read/work, then you have to use your bed.
But it's a fine place for cheap travel, don't be scared of it, it was fine after all

If you understand that it is a budget hostel, full of young people eager to have fun, everything is ok. We received the room but because the window did not close properly, we asked to receive another room and it was resolved. I was on the 5th floor and the elevator worked perfectly. Here the night noise from the bar downstairs could not be heard. In the room I received what was written in the offer, so I did not have high expectations. The heat worked, the towels impeccable, the linen as well. The location is excellent!
Bed a bit hard for my bones. The shower in the bathroom always dripped into the head if you wanted to use the sink (the bathroom is very small), but I solved it with a bag and an elastic band.

The location is quite good. Convenient transport to the airport and major attractions downtown. Nice staff and room facilities. The shared bathrooms and toilets are separate and very clean.
I’ve got difficulties entering the main door with my passcode (but it’s fine with my room door). Staff at the reception helped me reset everything but it’s still not working. Hopefully other guests by the door helped me with their codes though.

When I booked the capsule I accept the rules, but can not agree with non human conditions there. For 45 euro per night you have: plastic box with dimensions 2x1.5x1 m. - 3.5 cub.m air. In 20 sqr. m room there are 8 capsules for 16 tourist. Permanently there is a noise and smell of the shoes and socks. You should sleep with your backpacks inside, no space for carry on suitcases. For around 60 people on the floor there are shared: 4 baths, 3 WC and only 1 sink.

Everything is in walking distance and easy to reach. The room was big enough for 8 people.
I haven't used any of the bar services but it was crowded with people at night, so i guess it's enjoyable.
Would be great to have a little more privacy for beds and more than 2 toilets and 3 showers for each floor.

The capsule was spacious and ultra-comfortable.
There are lockers to keep your luggage.
The location is excellent. Metro/ Tivoli Gardens and the Royal Library all are within 10 min walk.
One sink for the whole stock is not enough. Sometimes you have to wait in a queue to use the sink!
The sink also didn't drain properly.
The lockers are relatively expensive.
Generally, it could have been cleaner.

Just the location
The reception is inside a bar on the 1st floor, it’s so loud and inconvenient.
No power outlet, just usb outlets. I need to find a cafe to be able to use my laptop. No hair dryer, even if I had mine, there is no way to plug it. The toilets are filthy.
My room was a capsule room, I got a lower one. The capsule was shaking like an earthquake whenever someone on the upper capsule moving.
The ventilation sound was so noisy, I used earplugs to sleep.

Very good location, cheap and using a code to get inside the building and rooms is very convenient.
There is no kitchen available and during check-in a huge line formed which blocked the exit door in the bar/reception area.
The lockers to store baggage prompt you to enter a code, but only once, which might become an issue if you enter something you didn't want.
Also they had electric heaters on the outside of the building running all day while it was 15°C outside which is just a waste of energy and very environmentally unfriendly.

Fine for overnight pitstop as adult .had a teenager with me so was bit noisy for her at night. So not really family orientated but it is a hostel !
Location was very good though and from my perspective the vibe was great and relaxed and I was surprised how clean the streets were in the morning after them being so busy the night before.
Smell of urine from the bathroom was vile. My god never smelled anything so bad. Even sprayed room with deodorant and put a towel over the floor vent to get rid of it. Daughter refused to use bathroom or even brush her teeth smell was so bad ..
I get it's a hostel and she was young to be taking but I couldn't get anywhere else to stay cheaply for 1 night.

I know the hostel doesn’t have the full control of the ones using the rooms but my experience was just not the best with the women i shared the room with. Room was dirty when i got there. Emptied alcohol bottles on the sink, and it is just impossible to use the sink. Woke up during the night since the other girl brought a guy in the room that was supposed to be for all women. Must remember not to expect the most comfiest since sharing with other guests as well.

Central location, clean, flexible access, busy vibe in the bar, Eurovision themed drag night on Friday in celebration of Eurovision.
The entrance door was very flakey and the staff did not seem to know how to fix it, which left a very uncertain feeling of being able to get in. Eventually it was fixed.

There are lockers (you need to pay to leave luggage) and bar in the hostel, mostly location.
There is no place inside the room to lock your things, people leave wet dirty shoes everywhere, scream and bring guys in female dorm. There is no kitchen, showers are dirty and slippery, only 3 toilets for whole floor of the building which is insane. Horrible experience, it's only okay if you plan on getting drunk at the bar downstairs and bring someone up. But for rest and comfort-not really.

The hostel's lounge area has a great vibe and it is really a pleasure to relax there. It is located in the heart of Copenhagen and has easy commute to many city landmarks and lovely places to visit. If you arrive earlier and can't be checked in, there are lockers you can use to leave your luggage and have a browse around the city.
I knew that the check in time was much later than our arrival time so I placed an enquiry for an early check in. Received a message that it may be fulfilled depending on availability. Fair enough, I was happy my request was acknowledged. When we arrived early morning four young ladies standing at the reception area looked at me as I approached without greeting me or showing any will to provide some good customer service. Fine by me, it's a hostel after all so I asked about checking in and I was told the information I already knew(3 pm). Then I explained about my request and without checking on the system or trying to find out more if there was a note somewhere there, one of them said the earliest could be 1 pm. So we left our luggage and returned later. At around 1 pm we asked if we could be checked in and were really excited that seemed possible. We got the codes and went with excitement and exhausture to the room to have a little bit of rest and refresh ourselves. When we opened the door I literally wanted to cry. A tiny tiny cubicle with a bunk bed and a bathroom where my partner was hardly able to turn around. We booked a room with a private bathroom and twin beds. There was no mentioning anywhere that the beds could be bunk beds. And when I made the reservation I specified it was three of us( 2 adults and a child) but nowhere this information seemed to have been remembered. Anyway, we went back to the reception to enquire about the room and the options to upgrade. Unfortunately, there were fully booked and we had to stay in the room given. What we couldn't understand was the fact the room was dirty and there was dust on the main desk area and on the window sills like it hadn't been used for some time and still we were made to wait until 1 pm to occupy it.
We have been in other hostels around the world not like we expect the finest quality for almost no cost but we have our experience we can compare and we can defo say this wasn't the greatest.

Excellent location
I realise that you get what you pay for, but that must have been the strangest bathroom I have ever seen - you pull up this lever from the sink and then water starts pouring onto the toilet seat. In the evening, I tried brushing teeth and ended up getting soaked from the shower because the sink still sprays water form the shower even without you having pulled the lever. It also took ages to check in at reception
