The trains ran through (most of) the night, and the rooms on the side closest to the tracks reverberated as the trains pass by. While the hotel gives ear plugs to guests, it’s difficult to ignore while trying sleep.

The hotel is located right across from the Østerport metro station so getting into town is really easy - I walked most days as it was only about a 20-minute walk to Nyhavn, or 2 stops on the metro.
There is a supermarket across the road as well as a 7-Eleven and some coffee places so food options off site are always there and economical.
The hotel was really clean and welcoming, the room was a good size as well!
I mention in the negative section that the train sound is easily heard, but the free earplugs for those who need them was a very thoughtful touch.
I was in a rail sleeper room and to be fair you can hear the trains pretty easily overnight. However I am a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me and they very kindly supply ear plugs for people who forgot them. Not really a negative but worth mentioning for those of you trying to decide if these cheaper rooms are worth the savings.
There is no fridge at all so you won’t be able to store any food in your room that needs to be refrigerated.

Perfectly placed right near the rail/metro station making access really easy. Was only a short walk (15 mins) into the City meaning that we could get there easily. Room was modern, tidy and nicely laid out. Small bar area at the front meaning that we could sit and have a beer. There was noise from the trains but that was expected and wasn't too troubling.
Generally everything was nice. The staff could perhaps have been a little more welcoming but this is a minor point. A nice smile when ariving late at night goes a long way!

The location is excellent, 20min walk from Nyhavn, close to the palace, near the train station and Metro station. Supermarket is right across the street, too.
The sound of the trains didn’t bother us much. The room also came with two pairs of earplugs to help with the extra noise.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and pleasant. I really enjoyed staying here for 3 nights
The only drawback is the lack of the fridge.

The place itself is amazing - I am a big train fan, and it was super cozy to live just above the station. The hotel provides earplugs as well. I didn't use them and slept very well.
The breakfast was nice - for 20 euros, you can't get it that good outside in the city, in my opinion. Here you have a buffet with humble but decent breakfast options.
The accessibility of transportation is just amazing - it takes only 4 minutes to get to the heart of the city by train; if you travel outside of Copenhagen, the location is the one you could only wish for!
I haven't regretted my choice for a bit. Next time, I would stay in another place only if I were invited to the palace itself! Otherwise, I will defi choose Go Hotel Østerport once again.
The bathroom was a bit smelly, but it was clean. So, I can survive a slight smell, no worries. And you can hear your neighbours doing things. You know what I mean :D Noise isolation between the rooms could be a bit more thought-through.

just across the metro, bus, and regional trains, supermarket and quick eats. the transport stops are not crowded so you get to have a seat when you board. hotel is very easy to find. it is a quiet area and walking distance to rosenborg, natural history museum, and smk. but also easy to take a bus if you prefer taking transport. room is not carpeted which we prefer. beds and pillows are comfortable. also housekeeping does a great job. overall a cost effective hotel, will definitely stay here again when we visit copenhagen.
there are a few stairs to get to the rooms and it is quite a walk to get to your room from the main entrance. this was a non issue for us but some might consider :) would suggest to the hotel if they can have a paid laundromat, and shared microwave oven, these would be an excellent add on :)

Good location, a reasonable walk to the city centre and a short walk to parks and other attractions.
The staff were all very helpful and polite. The room was clean and quiet - very important. Definitely a place I recommend for a visit to Copenhagen.
The lighting in the room was a bit gloomy and it was a shame we couldn't leave bags at the hotel after we checked out without paying for a locker - but those are small complaints compared to all the good things about the hotel.

We spent four very comfortable days exploring the city with our baby under one year old.
However, the lack of a ramp for the stroller at the hotel made it difficult for us every time we entered or exited the room.
To reach our room, we had to go up and down two different sets of stairs.

The corridor was a bit noisy with doors opening and closing. I couldn't hear the trains apart from the odd rumble, but nothing that would've stopped me from sleeping!

Staff were amazing, so attentive and friendly. They helped sort milk for our infant, gave us travel information and were always on hand to help. Nothing was too much!

We didn't have any issue with it, but our room was one of the furthest away from the main reception, but I'm sure if it were a problem for someone the hotel would sort them out with a closer room.
The only issue we did have was there was no lift for our pushchair, but again we just carried it up / down stairs, but would be an issue for wheelchair users or people who can't lift.
Also, the noise from the trains is quite noticeable, but wasn't an issue for us.
