the hotel is quite nice, the inclusive is really great, they offer very nice food snacks and drinks. dont expect great cocktails though.
the beach area is nice, but its over a hill. no sandy beach access.
the sea area for the hotel is really nice for snorkeling, also option to dive, the area is full of corals and beautiful fish to see.
the room doesnt have sockets near bed for chargers, some of the personal werent too friendly. and the water for the plants stinks.
they could serve drinks in better glasses. plastic glasses arent ideal.

-The staff is probably one of the best Ive dealt with during all my stays in sharm el shiekh(over 30 visits). They are extremely polite, friendly and hospitable with a constant smile on their faces. This includes all animation team members, chefs, people who sell excursions and diving lessons, receptionists, waiters, lifeguards and bartenders.
-The beach was the highlight for me and my wife as it was very relaxing and exactly what we were looking for. They have the umbrellas made out of palm tree leaves which gives it a beautiful natural look. low volume music is played which you can even sit far from and not hear at all(massive respect for the beachs DJ for not blasting 150 decibel EDM/techno 24/7 like some other hotels). The shore is wide and the sun loungers are not too close to each other with only 3 lines of sun lounger sets behind each other. Nobody haggles you for stuff you dont want to buy or participate in, they respect your personal space. Lots of beautiful corals and marine life. Even saw 2 dolphins and a 1.5 meters(at least) giant trevally and plenty huge colorful parrot fish.
-Chef Ashraf makes the best neapolitan style pizza in Sharm el Shiekh during snack time so make sure to give him a visit on the beach. This man definitely deserves a raise as he works the brick oven outdoors while the weather is 38-45 degrees celsius while making small talk and having laughs with the guests.
-Shoutout to Felix and Ahmed from the animation team who made the stay much more fun along with all staff on the beach. We will definitely be coming back to Amphoras in the future as this is probably the best economical, budget friendly hotel in Sharm el Shiekh
-There has to be a second staircase at the jetty or another jetty to be installed as it gets pretty crowded at times.
-Long lines at the snacks area on the beach because of the sister hotels(aqua park one) access to the beach.
-Quality of wine, yellow cheese(slices of unidentifiable cheese haha), beef and chocolate sauce needs be improved upon.

I guess this set of buildings.is quite old and time is passing by. Let me be clear: nothing was actually broken, just a few things worn here and there. Still a great value for money. Taxi service if booked via the hotel is 4 times what you pay just outside.

The hotel is in a nice location, the pool area lovely and the food good (we only had dinner there once despite being all inclusive so I am mainly referring to breakfast). However, the fresh pizza made on the seafront for lunch is amazing, the guy making it is a trooper, he does about 150 pizzas a day in 40degree heat with a smile on his face.
With the exception of one of the pool.bar staff most were lovely and cheery and helpful.
Rooms/beds comfy and I had a lovely sea view.
Severe lack of ice!!! On holiday in 36-42 heat and one of the most basic requirements is ice for drinks but there was rarely any at the pool or hotel bar. Beach was a bit better but even then they didnt always have any! This meant the poor drinks that are part of all inclusive were even worse. Tiny plastic cups with warm squash/sweet juice and too big a shot of awful gin/vodka is not pleasant. More importantly, trying to keep your water cool was a challenge, usually you can happily fill your reusable thermal bottle with ice and keep them topped up all day. The water coolers didn't have ice in either.
Most other issues (broken door locks, aircon breaking down, sockets not working) we're eventually fixed although we did have to put in a few requests before problems were fixed.
Do need to keep an eye on ground floor rooms though as a couple of times cleaners left 2 of our rooms with sliding doors unlocked.
Overall its a good Egypt hotel with a touch of 'fawlty towers' to it .
I would return but only if they can sort the ice situation out...thats a pretty basic fix!!

There is no sandy beach but small area for snorkeling rather than swimming.

It was very nice to have the opportunity to swim from the pier. Right at the entrance from the pier, you can snorkel the incredible corals and swim with a wide variety of fish. Since we were leaving the hotel at night, the breakfast items were packed and put in a bag, we didn't need it, but we liked it.
My little girl and I got infected from the hotel pool (as told by the doctor) almost two days of our vacation was wasted because of this. Drinks by the pool are served in glasses slightly larger than Turkish coffee cups, probably between 100ml-120ml. Consuming beverages in comfort is problematic. You will understand what I mean when you consider that they serve beer in 100ml glasses. The dishes are always mixed with cinnamon-like spice, and when all dishes have similar flavors, after the second day, it feels like you are always eating the same thing. I do not recommend using the spa part of the hotel, we had a health massage, but we did not see even the slightest relief, I think wasted time and money.

We loved the staff, they felt like family. The security guard, the chefs, the entertainment crew - all of them are amazing. We loved the ocean and all of the coral reef and the fish. We also really enjoyed the food - fresh omelettes in the morning and fresh pasta in the evening was our favourite. The management team went above and beyond to help us and make our stay so great that we ended up staying for over a month!! We initially only booked 3 days yet we loved it so much. The value for money is exceptional. This is my favourite hotel out of the Amphoras Aqua and Amphoras Beach, Amphoras Blu is a little slice of heaven, even though its not the biggest, its intimate and beautiful, thank you so much to the whole team for looking after us and our family. We are so grateful for our time at Amphoras Blu and we will be back.
The only thing we feel could improve is the wifi and also the gym. Although we made it work and didnt complain.

The air condtioner in the room was working properly. Landscaping outside the room was nice and they were birds with long beaks.:) Most of personnel was helpful and polite. Cakes at the restaurant were amazing. Also the cook who is making sphagetti was smart and skillful.
Our room was infested with ants. The food was nearly the same every day and it was not so delicious.Meat used for cooking the kebab was not delicious. Glasses at the beach were so old and very dirty. Only restaurant food is good
Thanks to Mr Ramadan in restaurant and Mr mohamed and Mr Ahmed kamel manager from reception
Rooms are very old and disappointed, full of ants and spiders everywhere , TV was broken and didn't work and very small (29 inch)
Pools full of dead insects inside the water especially the jacuzzi one (very dirty water), and when we told the lifeguard to clean it he told us to go to another pool
Pools are very poor and bored without dj or animation
You don't see the animation team except in the night show
One of the barmen argued with other cause 250 LE in front of guests also the drinks are hot in temperature 42 c
In the loppy no many places to set and no drinks because the welcome bar is charged
So we decided to make checkout early and this hotel not good value for your money

Meals & receptionists were better than amphoras beach at next door to this hotel.l like this size of the hotel.All inclusive means also free for local beer & wine & whisky so on from the server.The staffs were good.If you direct house keepers to cleaning place what you want, They will do it.
I stayed 7 nights.It performs really loud music at pool bar from 21:00 to 0:00 every night.But all windows are single glass and window frames are spaced.So we can not sleep before 0:00.It also makes music from 9:00am to 17:30 at pool and on the beach.So we can get silent time from 0:00 to 9:00am in 24 hours.If you like to stay calm time,Ask to reception the room close to reception area.It is a good room which is balcony faced northern and eastern direction in long summer term.It is so hard Sun light.Bring extension electrical cord and adopters.The hotels coffee is too bad.So bring your favorite instant coffee.We can get hot milk on all meals.Bring own your large size of plastic or paper glass.Because we have pool bar and beach bar.They prepared not clean plastic glass.The air is always dusty.So bring a table towel or wet paper towels to keep cleanness on your table at the balcony.

The beach is amazing and has wonderful coral reefs, staff are so helpful, the hotel is superb , pizza on the beach and fries. Wonderful relaxing hotel.

The stay at Amphoras Blue was nice. It was directly at the beach and there was a Diving school and a Reef directly at the Hotel.
The whole place is a little worn out and the food was average. It was difficult to find vegetarian food, especially since it was not clearly marked.

The place is amazing, but what made our stay perfect has been the lovely staff. Everybody is always smiling and willing to help, available for any kind of request. A special thanks to the chefs and the guys Im the restaurant, they make the meals very pleasant!

The view was perfect,I loved the location,the surrounding area was so beautiful,and quiet and peaceful.shame about the size of the room.but would not want to change it because of that view. so glad it was a ground floor.as I dont like stairs,due to knee pain.The staff were so pleasant especially the cleaning crew who really looked after us and our room..Nothing was to much trouble for them.The restaurant staff were attentive , polite,helpful, and respectful.whilst going about their duties.The reception staff were polite keen and attentive.also keen to please .Making our stay a really lovely experience..Even the on site shops and excursions were keen to please .I thought your team were excellent.Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay..
The room was too small a bit like a rabbit hutch...clostraphobic..The food was repetitive and sometimes a little Bland to taste.Some of the chefs weren't as sociable as the rest of the team.They need to be proud to serve their creations,knowing that they are pleasing to the palate for all tastes.I wondered if they actually taste the food before service ,they should.As they are showing the customers the tastes and cuisine of Egypt...The restaurant needs some safety floor signage for when spillage takes place and for clearing it away as a customer slipped carrying hot food to the table ,and whilst going for items to clean the area nothing was put there to deter other customers from doing the same(fall).Do they do temperature checks on the food as some food was barely warm..Also you could do with a dress code for your restaurant..seeing half naked people coming for food is not what you expect in such a lovely hotel..respect for other customers as well as your culture is a must in a decent restaurant .They should dress appropriately for the restaurant.Its unhygienic around food .Maybe sinage for dress code and a polite word in the ear would deter them from coming this way.I do hope these suggestions help you as you have a beautiful hotel I do not mean any of this as disrespective but more of a help..
