We had one of the Luxury rooms with sea view and balcony, what was very nice. The room is nicely furnitured, and has a small fridge. Upon request we got a water cocker and 2 cups at the reception, as we don't want breakfast but just have a tea on the balcony. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in this aerea, and a big supermarket in the street. On the roof the hotel has a roof bar.

At a certain time they activated a very garish light on the balcony, that can't be deactivated, so you have to live with this, from approx. 7 pm to 11 pm. THis was very harrassing. On the other hand you cannot switch it on if you e.g. want to read on the balcony in the night. In the morning there is a lot of delivery tracking in the street starting 7 am, so not the best for people who prefer to sleep very long with open windows.

The hotel has an excellent location, and our room was clean and beautifully designed

However, our experience was significantly affected by the fact that our room was located next to the staff room. Every night, we were woken up by loud conversations, doors slamming, and general noise, which made it impossible to get proper rest. Despite raising these concerns with the staff, no action was taken. Additionally, we were celebrating a birthday during our stay, and despite requesting a surprise to mark the occasion, all we received was a brief greeting in the kitchen, accompanied by the question, 'Whose birthday is it?'

Really fantastic hotel with an incredible rooftop. I give the 9 just because I’ve been given a room on the 1st floor although I made my reservation 6 months ago… Pretty loud from the street. The room itself is very spacious, clean, the beds are wow, I’ve never had such a comfy bed sleeping far now. The bathroom also spacious, great shower, strong water pressure. Would back definitely.

Good location close to the beach. Had a room with a nice little balcon with afternoon sun. Nice terrasse with view of Canteras. Breakfast fine. Great service from staff - but could fix the parking to do it in a smoother way.

Could have been easier to put in the license plate before arrival to park at the place the hotel have an agreement with. We had to park there first and then pay a rather high price until check-in at the hotel, where we just put in the license plate in an app. And since the hotel is so close to the beach very hard to find a place to drop off luggage and park until the deal is put in place.

This is a great hotel for anyone wishing to stay in Las Palmas. The location is fantastic, right next to the beach, with restaurants, bars and shops all nearby. The room was nice, a good size, great shower and very comfortable beds. The wi-fi worked very well. There is an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. This is also very close to bus stops so transportation around the city is easily available. This is a great hotel for anyone wishing to explore Las Palmas and Gran Canaria and is highly recommended.

No kettle in the room, but we took our own travel kettle, so bear that in mind.

The bar/cafΓ© on the terrace upstairs is amazing, looking out on the little boats bobbing up and down, and the lights from restaurants on the paseo shining on the water below.

I don't like that the safe in the bedroom is practically on the floor: I had gone down to get the (rather large) key from Reception but actually wasn't able to get down to the floor to put it in. [I do have problems with my back so not everyone will experience this difficulty, but *why* put it on the floor when it could be higher and not inconvenience anything!]

The hotel was very close to the beach Although the room was small, it had everything we needed and was cleaned regularly. The breakfast was a good mix of English and continental . All in all a very good place.

Two men watched my partner struggle with one suitcase. I would have expected one of them to offer assistance. The two single beds kept coning apart it would have been nice to have a double bed or fix them together some how.

Fantastic location, right next to the beach, restaurants and shops. Lovely rooftop bar with a great sea view. Very friendly, courteous staff who are always available and willing to assist. Lovely clean room and comfortable beds, for a perfect sleep. Breakfast is also very good at the hotel. Extra blankets can be requested from reception if required and beach towels are also provided. Overall, extremely pleased and would certainly recommend. Will definitely be returning to Hotel Aloe Canteras :)

Unable to turn the air-conditioning up to warm the room, as it gets a little chilly in the evenings and it can only be used to cool the room down.

The room was an accessible adapted one with a good quality shower - the hotel was well position if challenging to find initially.

The fire alarm system could not have been operational as the emergency call point was broken and the jack hammers at 0800hrs disrupted sleep. Also the window could not left open due to sewerage smells from the internal courtyard area

The room was too small for 3 people. Not enough storage space. Only one closet, no drawers. No shelfs in the bathroom. Curtains didn’t close fully. The breakfast was very basic, not worth the money. The roof top terrace had great views but the prices were much too high.

Really nice location. Next to the boardwalk, the beach ,many restaurants, and even a grocery store right next door. So clean and a fresh decor. Sea view balcony was excellent. Was able to walk( a slight hike with suitcases but doable) from the square where the free ferry shuttle drops off (from Agaete port). Breakfast was fantastic! Even had scrambled eggs with ham in them. Good quality and choices. Appreciated the really nice glass bottle of water and coffee pods/maker. Perfect size room but didn’t spend much time in it. Cool glass features in bathroom to let in natural light. Good idea room designer!

More about a service offered that didn’t turn out ideal. Hotel itself was perfect. Decided to try the car rental service rather than going to the airport to get a rental. Was told the rental company would just be a quick call so waited til we were ready and at the desk. Then had to wait well over half hour and then time to write contract by hand with impatient and not overly friendly agent. Was originally told by front desk we would be able to park anywhere close to the hotel and bring keys to desk and they would call agent to pick up. In fact had to deliver to a certain parkade(challenge getting to)and up to 7th floor and then walked 600 meters back to hotel. They add 30 euros to contract for fuel. We only used 1/2 tank (oh, and the tank was only 3/4 full. They told us this but never had a rental that wasn’t full to begin with so you can just fill to full at end)Should have tried to fuel up but by time trying to find parkade just didn’t bother. Then paid 40 euros for taxi to airport next morn (no Ubers). Not sure if would’ve been easier to just get to airport (bus) rent car and return with it when flying out.

Great location! Nice sea view from the room.

There was underwear in the room that was left by the previous occupants. There was a strong bad smell from the toilet during our 3-days stay. Normally the hotels pay attention on their customers special occasions. My birthday during the stay was totally ignored.

Staff was great, everything else was average to above average.

Too many stairs no lift for people with walking difficulties. From the street flight of stairs to the lobby and two flight of stairs to the restaurant. A/C in the room was insufficient.

The breakfast was very good. Beds were really comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The location was excellent. The hotel has parking available in a garage a couple of blocks away. You pay for the parking at the hotel.

Breakfast out of this world, premises clean well organized , staff Aaa, location can not be better , super roof top with very cute bar and superb view , in comparison with Livvno hotel here also al las canteras which is awfully located and staff is preposterous , with a the worth environment at las canters, ALOE is A TOP CHOICE highly recommended

Highly recommend this place. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. Everything felt safe, quiet, and well taken care of. Great location too. I’d absolutely stay here again.

I had had a bad day and a bad experience in a 5-star hotel - and when checking in to this 3-star hotel of excellent value, the extremely friendly receptionist just saved my day. The hotel is in a central location, with clean, big-enough comfortable rooms, the breakfast was good, really good considering the low price, all the staff were helpful and assisting in everything I had a wonderful 1-night stay.
