Location of hotel was excellent. everything required at your doorstep. Directly outside the hotel was a varied choice of bars and restuarants. The main social activity was outside the hotel with many al fresco busy bars on the hotels doorstep. Great vibe with all the bars and eateries very reasonable priced.
Room was very modern and spacious however the triple rooms are located at the highest floor level in the attic with high small windows in the roof and eaves that restrict head height above beds. have to be careful when getting in and out of two of the beds. The lower floors accommodate the family and double rooms and have large windows with juliet balconies.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of quality food available. Staff were excellent

The location in Santa Barbara was fantastic with a really hip vibe about the place in the afternoons and evenings. The bed was a super king and very comfortable. The property was spotless.
There was a fantastic array of produce at the breakfast but most of it, I either didn't like or was of poor quality. Fruit for fruit salads were not cut small enough. Bread and pastries were like cardboard. The bathroom could have done with a tiolet brush.

The front desk staff were lovely. The rooms were pretty spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent , I really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The breakfast really exceeded expectations - one of the best I've had in a hotel in Madrid. Overall it was very good value for money, I will definitely be back!

These apartments have high ceilings and tall windows that are charming, but the rooms themselves feel sparse and uninspired. I know city hotels can be noisy, but the delivery trucks were especially loud well before 8am in our square-facing room. One of the bathrooms had a sewer gas smell that was pretty bad the first night. When we reported it the next day, the desk staff didn't seem surprised, and the smell was mostly gone the next night. There weren't any booking.com options that didn't include dinner, but we're not going to eat dinner at the hotel when we're in Madrid with fantastic restaurants. I tried to get refunded the dinners but the hotel told us it was booking.com's responsibility and booking.com told us it was the hotel's responsibility, so that was disappointing customer service.

During my stay at the hotel, everything went very well overall, except for the attitude of one member of the reception staff (Daniel). The rest of your staff is really professional.
Upon our arrival, we asked to leave our luggage until the room was ready. Unfortunately, we forgot to take one document from the luggage. When we asked for our bags 10 minutes after, his response was abrupt and inappropriate, saying: “You should have thought about this earlier.”
On another occasion, we called reception to ask if housekeeping could close the window in our room, which we had unintentionally left open, as it had started to rain. He initially gave several excuses for not taking action. I eventually had to explain that my concern was to avoid any potential damage to the hotel room due to the rain, and that they could disregard the request if they did not consider it important.
While these incidents did not affect the overall quality of our stay, the lack of professionalism and courtesy in these interactions was disappointing and not in line with the otherwise excellent service provided by the hotel.

I love the location - it's far enough from the Gran Via area which is full of people but easy to walk to. The hotel was nice and surrounded by cozy cafes and restaurants. I really liked how modern this hotel was and we were so thankful it had a lift. We understand Europe has a lot of stairs and slim structures but when you have a lot of luggage to carry, the lift was fast and came in handy. The convenient and diverse breakfast was great too.
Ernesto helped handle our complaints but there was one employee (didnt even give us a name but we kept running into him when we needed something) that was horrible. Glad that guy is getting let go.
