I was at the hotel in mid-November 2025. Very friendly staff, nice room, soft mattress on the bed, comfortable bathroom. Very good various breakfast for every taste. Excellent location. A bunch of restaurants and food-market are around.
The room was quite cold. The thermostat was set at 20 degrees Celsius and could not be raised. The staff explained that this was the usual temperature in homes in Finland, but unfortunately it was too cold for me, I would have needed at least 22 or 23 degrees. It was uncomfortable to wake up in the morning in a cold room in mid-November.
There were two pillows on the bed of different firmness, but unfortunately both were too hard for me.

the rooms were in the older building, next to the new hotel and the elevator was peculiar but old, very different style Than the rest of the hotel.. the room were a bit small for 4 people and the sofa bed not very comfortable. sauna was split for men and women and I didn't t know where to go with my 11 years old son. that was unexpected given that all the Finnish sauna we have been in Helsinki also had the mixed room.. the sheets did not seem very clean. we didnt understand that the rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis unless requested and we regretted not having the room done during our 2 days staying. being a family the minimum housekeeping should probably be offered, without request.

Hotel was what one can expect from a Radisson property. Everything was spotless, lobby was nice, rooms were very clean and roomy, bed (various pillows) and douve were great, bathroom was quite large and staff was impeccable. I did not have time for breakfasts, but seeing it, it looked wonderful.
This is a βone-offβ and likely will not happen againβ¦ On the last day, the hot water was off from 9am to nearly 10pm. The lobby and room were freezing cold. It had to do with city works to do maintenance on a pipe, but surely this was planned well in advance. However, they did not mention this when booking the room. Had I known that in a city that was going to -5 Celsius, I would have probably booked something else. I think it was a bit greedy of them. βLet customer book and tell them they will be cold for a day when they get hereβ. I think this is a bit unbecoming for a Radisson and unprofessional.

Utterly surprised for how I perceived Radissons quality drop here. Because, bare, cripy and cold floor, cold room, temperature doesn't move up, bathroom is even more freezing. I like the old design but it could have been old and comfortable. Wouldn't expect this from Radisson chains. Even the water pressure in the shower is seemed controlled. Feeling floors in the showrer as well. I am afraid I got sick.

Location was great to travel in Helsinki. The bed was very comfortable and room was cleaned well everyday. It might sound silly but we really appreciated the fact that there were actually 4 of everything such as towels and cups without having to ask for them. The boys especially loved the sweets at the reception desk which unfortunately we cannot buy as they are made for Raddison.
The only thing I didnt like was that there were never enough hot chocolate sachets or normal tea bags. I didnt mind about the tea bags as I brought my own but hot chocolate was annoying as there are 2 boys. Also the lift is retro and a bit dangerous for little hands so be careful.

Location is very good, a couple minutes to the tram/bus station which takes you straight to the old market hall, the harbor, or the train station. The room was decent size, clean, huge bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable.
The shower water somehow seemed to get out of the cabin very quickly, which means the bathroom floor was wet for quite a while, also the door to the tv cabinet/minibar fell when I opened it and the whole thing became unstable. Some maintenance wouldnβt hurt in the rooms.
