A faultless stay, especially for the price. Minutes walk from the train station and also the castle, the staff both in the afternoon of checking in and on the morning of departure were lovely. The bed in the room was comfortable and the TV in a good location. I was on the top floor with an excellent view over Angers from the rooftop window. The bathroom contained both a bath and shower, plus several towels immaculately presented. The wardrobe space was also generous. The curtains shut out the light superbly. The breakfast offered was varied, with cereals, fruit salad, a croissant, bread, unlimited hot drinks and juices and much more.

Very little - a couple of TV channels suffered from intermittent reception drops and the room was supported by a sort of trunk I banged immy head on when getting up in the dark, though that's my fault!

We checked in a bit early and staff accommodated all the suitcases for us. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast was very good and the hot croissants were an added plus. Lastly, it was so easy to walk to the train station from the hotel.

I was thoroughly impressed with how helpful, polite and patient the staff were with my every request. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the bathrooms were up-to-date and clean.
The breakfast buffet was a bit small, but still had French classics such as baguette and pain aux chocolat.

Very good value. Excellent location between train station and Chateau d'Angers, so good for sightseeing. Breakfast was substantial, with cheeses, yogurts, cold meats plus the usual breads and pastries. Charming breakfast room and lobby. Secure locked bike storage is available half a block away. Very clean room.
Room was a little bit awkward in layout.

We chose this hotel for the bike garage, it was our first stop in our bike trip.
Bike garage is very secure, secluded in an inner yard with 1 locked gate to access the inner yard + garage door also key locked.
Extremely clean hotel and friendly staff. It's what it was marketed as, nothing less.
Very small downside is that clients are given the key to go get their bikes. Human nature is that some forget to lock the door to the garage (lock is a bit tricky). When we took out our bikes in the last day, garage door was closed, but not locked....
But to be honest it's no big deal as it's extra safe. Still, it's something that can easily be improved ( electronic lock, simple mechanical auto locking or simply replace lock with one that works well)

Amazing location for both exploring Angers AND getting to Poy du Fou!
Unbeatable value when all you need is a comfy bed and big bathroom as you don't want to miss out on experiencing western France by staying indoors.
And the staff, the staff are the true jewel here. Have a complex issue, staff will take it on as a personal mission to solve!
I don't know how stars work, because I don't like how this place only has 2 stars attached to its name. Give this place another star just for the helpful staff alone!
