This hotel is on the edge of the old city, very near many of the historical sites, immediately across from one of the museums and not more than 10 minute walk from just about anywhere in the old city. The staff was informative and welcoming. Breakfast was A+. The room was very clean, very quiet and the bed extremely comfortable.

If you come to the hotel by car, parking is not straightforward. It is in a resticted section of town with barriers. I parked about 750m away and walked. There might be a way to get a car close but it was not obvious.

The location was superb, neighbouring two of the major tourist attractions of Arles. The room was also very comfortable, breakfast was varied and fresh, and staff were attentive and very very friendly. It was the quality of service that really made the stay outstanding. As a solo traveller, I felt safe, could ask for advice and recommendations, and it really gave me the confidence to make the most of the trip.
Only thing is that walls are a little thin and I had a very noisy wall-mate. But it didn’t disturb my sleep at all- I slept like a log!

Room was small with no luggage rack. There was a separate toilet room leading to the bathroom but it was awkward to get out of the toilet room, the door was a bit too wide to swing open. When I took a shower the water spilled all over the floor. No elevator to the rooms but I had requested a lower level room. Breakfast was just ok. The scrambled eggs and bacon were undercooked so just ate the pastries, bread, and cold cuts.

Our refrigerator had water for our arrival which we appreciated after our travel. The concierge was very helpful àll the time. Breakfast was superb. There were many choices. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Through some unfortunate travel circumstances, I couldn't get there til right before they closed, but they waited for me. They offered me a choice of rooms and answered all my questions and gave recommendations for where to eat out, get pastries, and visit and were generally friendly throughout my visit. The breakfast, at a cost of 15€, was hearty: scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, bacon (not cooked so well, though), pastry, fruit, toast, cereal (muesli, granola, and oatmeal, and I think waffles or pancakes some days, though I didn't eat those. Also juices and coffee. After eating that, I could get by until dinner. I loved being able to eat in the courtyard with all the plants around and stone walls. Location was a 15-min. walk from the train station and the center of town and not very far from the amphitheatre and other attractions. It's also right across from Musée Réattu, which has fascinating exhibits and is a block from the riverwalk. I would stay there again.
Internet did not work well, nor did my hotspot. That's the tradeoff for being in a classic hotel tucked in narrow streets with tall buildings on all sides. All the more excuse to find a cafe with some good coffee and pastries to check email and such, or not to worry about it. My room, which was not the smallest, felt crowded to me, but again, that was the tradeoff for being in a beautiful old converted mansion that was far different from a sterile chain hotel. It was just fine considering I was out and about and only slept there and ate breakfast.

Just as a note, there are a lot of stairs if this is an issue. I didn’t mind this and the staff were kind enough to bring my bag to the room.

Large room compared to other hotels in France. Our bathroom was in a castle turret. Quiet location but easy to walk around town. Hotel has courtyards. Staff friendly. Breakfast service is an option and is good. No free parking nearby if you have a car. We parked in the train station parking lot, a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Very easy walk to the center of Arles! It's so close to everything that it's easy pop back in to freshen up in the afternoon for dinner. The parking garage is about a 10 minute walk. There was a nice assortment of breakfast options: espresso, tea, juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, granola, and pastries. I definitely recommend paying extra for the breakfast because it made it much easier to start exploring the area in the morning without trying to figure out where to eat. The room was a bigger than I expected and has a/c! The shower is also bigger than others I have experienced in France, so it would work well for a taller/larger person.
Sometimes the wifi didn't work in my room, but it worked fine on the patio.
