I enjoyed my stay in Les Corps Saints Hotel, and would have happily stayed longer if I had more time. The gentlemen running it were so kind and caring, and very easy to talk with. I often sat in the lobby to use the Wi-Fi (the signal there is much stronger than in my top floor room) and they always offered coffee. I enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to many places of interest in Avignon, but it's in a peaceful area of the old town and you wouldn't know the busy main street is just metres away when you're inside the hotel. My room was small and cosy, with easily enough space for a solo traveller. Highly recommended hotel!

I had everything I needed for a night stay ,it was clean and warm, had a bed ,bathroom and toilet ,even a little fridge and coffee so I had more than expected for the price ... It's not a high standard hotel ,but it's clean and cosy. Well,if you are looking for high standards, they gonna cost you much more than 42euro for a night. Recommend it ?

We were not given keychain or front door code, neither was City tax charged at check in. Late at night, front door was locked and hotel staff was not responsive to repeated doorbell, phone calls, or Booking message. We persisted calling a personal phone (handwritten on the door) for over 1 hour until finally we had a response. Finally, on check out no one was available to keep our bags at 0815, even though we were told she would be there at 0800. Again we called the personal phone and they appeared. Due to the delay with leaving bags and paying tax, we missed our tour for the day and lost time and money.

We were on the 3rd floor where the wifi was non-existent in the room. Had to stand in the stairwell or go down to reception to get signal. No hooks to hang any towels in the bathroom. Unmanned reception/lack of service - wanted milk for tea/coffee in room, rang reception desk bell 4 times but no response.
Pokey bathroom - toilet was a squeeze and not connected to the wall (looked unfinished).
Breakfast not served as stated - notice said 7.30 - 10 on weekdays but wasn’t till 8. We had to leave at 8.15 so though decent, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it. If we’d known, we wouldn’t have paid for it. 8 is late for breakfast to start.

The location was perfect. It was right next to the train station. Avignon is very small, so it was a short walk to all of the attractions. The single room with a twin bed is small but worked for me as I was staying only one night and was traveling solo.
I did read other reviews that mentioned a specific odor. I did notice a peculiar odor but I didn't notice it when I turned on the AC.

My arrival was at an inconvenient time but staff made sure I found the way to my room. The room was great with plenty of space and very quiet. The buffet breakfast was fine and the staff were solicitous but not intrusive. The location was wonderful and convenient for both station and city centre.

The reception desk appears only to be staffed infrequently. As we were arriving about 8.30pm we had to phone (left message on answerphone), text and email to make contact and get the access code for the main door. All was resolved before our arrival.

Travellers book this quaint little hotel because they want to experience something different at an affordable price. Ideally located nearby the train (Avignon-centre) and bus stations, this property is within the walled old city, aka intra muros. Just behind a lovely square. The neighboorhood is very quiet at all times.
The room was smallish but clean and comfortable. I liked the quality bedding and the plush towels. I also like the interaction and conversation with the employee at the reception upon checking-in.
The reception opens at 07.30 a.m. and closes 12 hours later. No lift, and the staircase is rather steep. This could be problematic for people with large or heavy luggage.

The room was really spacious and comfortable. Staff even though they were not speaking english they were vey friendly and it was easy to understand each other.

Bathroom door swang back and banged when you opened it. The shower holder did not fit the shower head, but we found a workaround. We didn’t have enough loo paper and had to keep asking for more. The curtain near the loo in the bathroom was dirty (please clean it!) and the shower floor could do with some paint. The ceiling could do with some cleaning/painting/mending.

Although I would absolutely stay there again, adding eggs (I've seen places that set out fresh eggs and a boiler on the counter, boil-your-own) to breakfast would be a nice touch.

Got there around 9 pm and there was no one at the reception. I had received a message with a door code, but was not able to get in. The Hotel is convenient to the train stations and the bus station, as well as all the sights in Avignon. Great for walking/biking.
This is a good value hotel, very clean and comfortable room and mine was large with a sofa and table area, as well as a closet and coffee/tea electric pot. However, as others have noted and I knew ahead of time, my room had an « Italian Shower » meaning a small square area with no glass or curtain. The shower temperature and pressure were fantastic, but the bathroom tiled floor is well watered.
The desk clerk helped me get my luggage up a winding staircase to the third floor as there is no elevator. There is no lobby, just a desk, but there is a nice room for breakfast. The staff were caring.
In summary, it is worn, but has a charm about it. Since I am active and a hotel is a place to relax/sleep between adventures, it was perfect for me. Seems to be popular with biking/adventure folks.
It certainly was a value in a time when there were few options in the town on Bookings for some reason.
