Great location right next to the city centre. Friendly reception staff, who gave us useful information and how to avoid tourist traps. Breakfast was nice, but nothing special nor were the staff.
Parking at the hotel is a huge pain. In order to bring your suitcases from the multi-story car park, it requires you to traverse through an obstacle course of staircases, with little guidance. There is a space to unload baggage easier, however it is terribly inconvenient, and requires you to reverse park unto incoming traffic which is not made clear unless one had stayed here previously which we hadn't. 2 mins walk into the city which was great

We liked the great location with with direct access from the Palais des Papes parking garage, ability to unload luggage near the lobby and within walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants. Friendly staff, good breakfast. The bathroom was newly renovated. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
It seems that everywhere in Avignon involves climbing stairs; while we were able to unload our luggage near the lobby, we still had to carry our luggage up a rather steep set of stairs to reach the lobby. As the hotel is in an historical building, the hallways and rooms are not large. We booked a room with a sofa in order to have a larger room but it was a tight fit to get past the bed to the sofa which did not face the television. Had we wanted to use the sofa bed I think there would have only been 50cm between it and the bed. The hotel is pet friendly and we brought our small cat. The carpeting looked like it needed to be replaced especially near the door where perhaps a pet had been scratching. I recommend that all hotels now replace carpet with more sanitary hard floor coverings. In the hallways and the entry there was a sting perfume smell which I found off putting. We were happy that we stayed here; but there is room for improvement.

PARKING. In a word hopeless. Avignon obviously does not thing of their visitors as far as parking is concerned especially if you have a group in a minibus, and for that reason i would never stay there again.

The location was great! It was an easy walk to the major tourist locations, and there were tons of good restaurants in the area as well. The staff were very friendly, and although the parking garage was a little confusing, it was also well located.
The mattresses were too firm for us -- would be nice to be able to add a topper or something to soften them up a little.

The hotel is very outdated and the room was rundown. The room was very small and color of the hall and room was unpleasant and too dark. Very strong sewage smell in a hall on the 3rd floor. Mattress was uncomfortable, pillows were horrible, and the blanket was too heavy and old. The carpet was dirty in the hall and room.

Free drinking water fountains on each floor which is nice. Nuxe shower gels also great!

The hotel doesn’t look as good as it does in the pictures, in the room there was no bin at all. And the room wasn’t the least pleasent thing we experienced, the staff was very unpleasent, we arrived very late pouring rain, and she asked us fo a 100 euros garantee, as tbe room was only 165 euros. The hotel has this policy (i don’t if it’s the same for all the people, or maybe they just discriminate…) to block the 100 euros on my card, but the deblocking it means at least 10-14 days till i see the money back in my account. At the least pleasent thing the receptionist did, was tell us 3-4 times that we don’t have breakfast included and we can not just go in an eat without paying with her first, 4 times si repeated this. I travel a lot but this never happend to me before!

Location is perfect to explore the city but parking is communal so you have to pay extra for it
Details of the cleanliness (sewage smell from sink and yellow rim, dust and rust in airvents, dirty bathroom ceiling).
There's no ventilation in the bathroom so everything was getting humid.
Not working AC, completely too hot in the room.
For 4* hotel it would be nice if staff pays attention to the guest birthdays and make a note of it.

Location is perfect, right outside the papal palace. They accept dogs. They have paid on-site parking (papal palace parking with direct access to hotel), which was very convenient. Great for exploring the city. Lots of great dining options nearby. Skip the on-site restaurant for dinner - go explore the city. It's fine, but there are better places within a 10-15 minutes radius by foot.

I wish there was no carpet or at least the carpet was vacuumed and washed. The stains in the hallway was kind of dirty and unpleasant, and there was a musty smell to it.

We understand the facility is undergoing renovations starting October 2025. The facility is in need of some updates but our experience and o e night stay was terrific.
