around 20.00 some staff entered the room while we were there without any knocking or advise. complained to reception and they mentioned it was usual. the goal of that action is still unknown.

It’s very well situated for the beach and the heart of Bandol. The rooms are well appointed in general and the view across the bay is impressive. In addition having a. Parking reserved automatically and with the valet service is comfortable on arrival.
The hotel doesn’t really merit 5 stars, with the principal issue being the overall warmth of service which is absent. The prices are on the high side for the level of quality provided and nearly everything was extra and irrrespective of price we were unable to have access to a lounger on the beach despite paying more than 750 euros for a room for one night - not acceptable to me,

our Rugby World Cup - Marseille apartment was cancelled at the last moment. a quick search delivered this fabulous hotel. I booked a premier room. it was large and featured a hot tub on the balcony. Not sure if we were upgraded? The Thalassotherapy suite was excellent. the view across the stunning bay was sensational. all the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent as was the beach restaurant.

Holiday was ruined by a horrible incident the night before we left. Completely the hotel’s fault, they accepted that they made a mistake, but they did not acknowledge my letter of complaint (made contemporaneously) and no formal apology. Sadly we cannot recommend or return to this hotel because we would not want that experience again or the same for others.

Gorgeous view from our room on the west side of the fifth overlooking the pool and the sea. Very well run upscale property. Valet parking was under hotel in secure garage. Hotel was located in a very quiet area of Bandol. Very nice balcony. Great bar area on the ground floor.
