Great location, very central. Only a short walk to the beach and to all the shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean. Super friendly and extra helpful staff, they really went above and beyond. They made my stay unforgettable. Comfortable room, comfortable bed.
For someone who is very sensitive to noise, the restaurant downstairs could be a problem. I personally had no problem at all sleeping when I used earplugs and closed the window. No elevator, so for someone with mobility issues it might not be ideal.

Location wise this was so convenient. A restaurant in the building which was excellent and many within a 200m walk. The fresh food market is across the road. A supermarket 200m away.
I had a corner room so good air flow to cool down with a sea breeze, there is no aircon but a fan was provided. Shutters help to keep it from getting too hot.
Shutters also kept out the noise from the lively street below that is the price to pay for being in the action. I enjoyed the music from a band playing, on one night great
atmosphere.
Also convenient for the beaches a short walk away.
A little fridge would be very handy

It was a very Central Location the Lady who ran the Hotel was charming and helpful, plenty of places nearby to eat and drink
When we arrived there was a 3 day braderie which made it very difficult to get to the hotel by car many roads where closed and all the parking were full . Also there were roadworks in , Les Halles, where the hotel was situated and it made it all a bit difficult. Not the fault of the hotel but a heads up would have been helpfu

I rated the property so low due to lack of outlets, the noise level in our room (and we were OFF the street). Outside it was seasonally warm - but there was little air flow in Our room. It DID say this in their information - but if you are used to AC rooms ….
I also had to make a decision - do I charge my phones, or plug in my CPAP machine? It would have been nice if there was an extension cord next to the bed with multiple outlets. I found 2 outlets in my room, and the fan HAD to occupy one.
With no air, it was nice to have a fan. But unfortunately the fan airflow volume, even on max, hardly moved air.
I woke up around 11, and the ambient noise kept me up until after 4am. Motorcycles did make a lot of noise randomly. The only interesting part of the early morning noises was hearing someone having sex in another room!
Again - Frédérique was a joy! But I doubt I would return to this particular property. I do understand it’s a historic place and they cannot add air conditioning. But as an American used to that - I am glad I had only one night there - both to experience beautiful Biarritz - and to not be up a second night all night.

It had the best customer service of any Hotel, with Frederique being so helpful. The instruction pre arrival are so informative, the room was clean and bed comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is good, the area is noisy but it’s thriving. The location is fantastic, walking distance to everywhere. I highly recommend this Hotel, it’s fantastic value.
No lift but I’m healthy so I didn’t need it.

The hotel is located in one of the hops of Biarritz. It is outstanding two star Hotel. It is ideal location for travelers who want to get the feel of locals. I stay was over the New Year’s Eve holiday. I liked it so much. I stayed an additional two days.
As anticipated, the bathroom was small had a bit congested with a low ceiling over the tub and shower. Oh well, I got more exercise.

This hotel is in the loudest, busiest part of the city at night. There are loud bars on each corner that keep loud crowds past 2am. If the hotel had air conditioning, that would solve the issue because you could close all the windows! But the rooms do not have air conditioning and windows have to be open or it’s way too hot! Do t stay here unless you party past 2 am!
