Everything was great. The location is great and really close to all the attractions. The room itself is small but very clean and tidy. Breakfast was also great value for money with a variety of pastries, pancakes, everything that is needed to make a sandwich, coffee, juice and more. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, thank you so much for our stay! :)

Great llocation; good breakfast. All very clean. The towel protocol was followed. WiFi strong, Staff friendly and helpful. Near trams and buses
Some people would want a slightly larger room and a lift - the lack of which ought to be on the description? Bit noisy at night, but it is a town centre.!

Very central, staff were very helpful would recommend . Staff carried bags up and downstairs which was a huge bonus. The map they gave out was the best.
The toilet was a bit strange, very cramped & would have been awkward for a big person.

Responsive to emails and messages. Friendly staff. Close to attractions.
They could improve the cleanliness. Price was high for the place. They need a serious renovation. The small fan is not enough to cool down the temperature. Small TV. The chair and desks could be fixed.

The location was excellent, breakfast was delicious, room was very clean and the manager was very helpful.
There is no air conditioning and although my double room was small, there was no view from the window on the inner court. Was worried that it might not be safe with the window open at night, as it can easily open widely, in the end had to open it as it was hot even with the fan on. There was one the table lamp in the bedroom, but was fine.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my needs.
The location is perfect, great to be able to call back during the day as necessary. The manager is very friendly and helpful - he carried my heavy case up to my room on the second floor.
My room had a great view over Grand Hommes. It was super clean with a lovely en suite. (Some other reviews mention the tojlets - they are macerator toilets - efficient but noisy)
The temperature rose to over 40 while I was there but I slept well in a comfy bed. There were shutters, double glazed windows and curtains to allow me to shut out the sun during the day, and to allow a breathe of air at night.
The room had 4 sockets, one for the fan, one for the desk lamp and one either side of the bed. There were also 2 USB sockets.
Breakfast was very good in a pleasant room on the first floor.
I only read the reviews after I had booked and did wonder if I had made a mistake, but no, it was perfect for my needs and I will definitely hope to stay here again.
Thank you Brit hotel Grand Hommes.
Just before I left for my hotel I was back on booking.com website checking something when I noticed that the same room type/dates were available for 100 less!

The location is excellent.
I would say that the accommodation didnt live up to our expectations . The room was very small and noisy due to many revellers using the street outside as a thoroughfare. There was no air con and Bordeux can be very hot. If you opened your windows there were not any screens so insects came in. We were supplied a fan but it wasnt really a good option . The management are really nice and helpful but I think the facilities are not up to standard and we booked a second night away at another hotel to have a good nights rest. .

The room was very small and the decor looks very tired. The space for my legs when sat on the loo was ridiculous and the only light serving as a bed side light that could be reached whilst in bed was a 1.5m long florescent strip that was inches from my face.
