Rooms need to be refreshed. The male guy who was at thr reception when I arrived was unhelpful. He insisted there are only 2 rooms in thr hotel in the category I booked and both were very old. The one he finally gave me was very small with a broken shower door and a non working phone with a window to the patio. I had to wait for his colleague to change the room. He needs training on how to treat female solo travellers

The level of cleaning varied slightly depending on the day/cleaner. For example, coffee needs and hygiene products were not replenished every day. It's a pity that the jacuzzi was not available, the pool would have been nice and made the experience even better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Patio des Artistes hotel. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a couple of blocks behind the Croisette. The rooms are convenient and the beds are good. As during our previous stays, what made our stay truly enjoyable is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the hotel staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast area, to the cleaners.

The hotel is within the downtown area but on the periphery so it is both convenient and quiet. It was spotlessly clean, the bed & pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were friendly and efficient.
The only thing was the rooftop deck. The jacuzzi wasn’t there and on the night there were fireworks we couldn’t watch from what would have been a great vantage point. Apparently there are no lights. I strongly urge management to resolve this issue and put a little bar too. Would be great!

We liked leaving on this occasion.
The male Manager on site was rude, disrespectful & should be fired from his role in my opinion. I will never stay at a Best Western again or ‘sister hotels’ including Mondial in Cannnes. I have never experienced such a display of disrespect in my life. He advised he had authorised entry to our room and safe. We had earlier agreed with him our belongings would remain in the room and if he needed us to move to contact us. He did not. He then proceeded to get defensive & yell at me how me that we always cause problems, even though we have never been advised of anything and are always kind to hotel staff. In fact, any simple request we have made is usually seems like we are imposing on staff time. Very strange indeed. I suspect its a deficiency with management and their train of employees. In any case, Best Western lost considerable revenue losing me as a customer. I spent three months in Cannes very recently but not at this hotel - that treats its customers like a problem rather than essentially paying for their wages & accesses the room safe when they like without customer permission.
