Hotel was clean and pleasant to stay in. Nice room.
No respect for Covid distance rules and ventilation. Breakfast was served in a small room at the first floor. There was no ventilation and tables were really close to each other. It was impossible to follow the route markings on the floor as there was no room to move and other guests' chairs were in the way (see image). Expect better for a 4* Mercure Hotel. Do not use hotel parking, the places are very small.

Room was bright and airy with a patio and chairs. Bathroom well appointed, and wardrobe with mini fridge and safe was supplied. Breakfast was good and an excellent supply of Gluten free products.
Tea and coffee making facilities were poor. Paper cups and only 2 milk per day for the 2 of us - 1 cup each!!! Coffee pods supplied for the machine, but not any breakfast teas - I don’t drink coffee.

The location was very good, in the center of Deauville, nevertheless our room was looking over the street and the street was very noisy. We woke up couple of times due to construcrion and van noises. If you plan to stay ask for a room on the garden side.
Pillows uncomfortable, noisy street.

We did not take breakfast in the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The ensuite was an excellent size and the shower was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and the surroundings and balcony very pleasant. Only small annoyance: The heater controls were confusing and insisted on switching on about 3am making the room warm and stuffy

Excellent room ; well equipped ; very clean and quiet ; would have benefit from air conditioning rather than a fan moving warm air. great location ; wonderful and helpful staff; excellent parking ( at a cost) decent breakfast facilities.
just the room being quite warm as there is no air conditioning other than a ceiling fan.

Fantastic location
- there was no iron in the room
- there were dirty socks left over from a previous booking
- the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work
- the bed was not a double but zipped together which could be felt in the bed
- there was a plastic covering under the sheets
-the windows didn’t close properly so very noisy

Great location. Very friendly staff.
Unfortunately my room was opposite the cleaners office and the lift. That door was opened and slammed (with also a creaking hinge) every five minutes during the day. Why have this opposite someone's room?
The other issue was that despite using the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, and verbally requesting that we do not want the room cleaned every day, this would be ignored. They would also knock and come in straight away. Why don't you understand do not disturb means DO NOT DISTURB?

The room was on the first floor and since the breakfast was on the same floor the corridor was smelly, which was quite unpleasant.
The receptionist was so quick and pleasant to deal with, that woman greeted us very nicely.
The room was not small and had a nice balcony. The bathroom was also nice and convenient.
And the breakfast place was so small that it was very surprising for a 4 star hotel. The same was the lobby it was not suitable at all for a 4 star hotel.

Rooms are very clean
1st floor rooms are to erase. I had the room number 107 in which at 5am i couldn’t sleep because of the kitchen smell. That room is next to the kitchen where they prepare the breakfast.
I think the breakfast room has to be in ground floor.
To be in permanence in the smell of croissants etc it’s disgusting.
Bathroom is very small
