Our room was in the Maison building, and it was very spacious with a small kitchette that was well-stocked. A larger supply of paper goods like toilet paper and paper towels would have been handy. The only issue - it is spread in more than one locations. We lived in the one without reception (5 mins walk from it). And twice our keycards did not properly and we had to call to the reception and then wait until someone comes and fixes the problem.

We stayed at the residences just off the main square. Its a bit of a walk if you've got a large amount of luggage, but it is in a very central position and couldn't be better for exploring the centre of Dijon. The room was very clean and had tea making facilities. Breakfast can be taken at the main hotel which is 400m away. Checking-in was easy - best to do it at the hotel as they will explain access, the location and parking as well as giving you maps. Check-out is even simpler, you leave your cards in the room to be collected by the cleaner.
Our room was fairly compact and could have done with better curtains as we were at the same level as the sitting room of the flats opposite who had a direct view into our bedroom over the width of a narrow street. The bathroom was spacious and had a great walk-in shower. Parking can be an issue. there is plenty of paid street-parking spaces, but these are taken up during peak times. They are empty at off-peak times so with a bit of thought you can get a place fairly near to the residence and enjoy the periods of free parking. The underground car parks (about 20 Euros per 24 hours) are reasonable, but about a mile walk form the residence.

Breakfast at the main hotel was a little chaotic and just average. There was a nice outdoor area with table and chairs that had gone into disrepair which would have been nice to use.

This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting the Owl's Trail, and there are many good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff are also very friendly.
The building is old, and the sound of guests walking in the rooms above is very loud. The floor in the room is made of wood, so the creaking noise when walking is quite noticeable. Additionally, the breakfast is very disappointing.

The location is right in the center of the town, the surroundings are nice, like the view over the roofs from my room (3rd stage). The place is very quiet.
The bed was correctly soft (for my habits) and the duvet was not too thick/warm.
The staff were very kind and supportive. The receptionist helped us to find a restaurant from a name that we roughly remembered.
Free hot beverages are available in the hall.
The breakfast includes sweet and savory food and all is fresh and of very high quality.
The room price, and especially the breakfast price, are higher than the rate of a 3-start hotel, in my opinion.
They could be justified by the very central location that we (work travelers) didn't really enjoy...
No hotel car parking is available and the available parking places in the surrounding streets (available in low season) are all paid
