The decor was beautiful and fun and the staff were exceptionally kind.
The only thing which would have made my stay perfect is the lack of tea/coffee making in the room. I do very much like a cup of tea when I wake.

The staff were particularly helpful and amazing. I loved the bottle of wine waiting for us with regional treats, and the room was simply lavish and comfortable.
We had to wait quite a while to drink juices at the breakfast table, only by the time we were halfway through the breakfast were the juices available again.

Beautiful hotel with a very nice garden, well located close to the beach, but still very quiet.
Information - hardcopy in the room would have been useful rather than being reliant on the internet/hotel website to find information. Lack of tea/coffee making facilites, fridge with simple selection of refreshments and the facility for storing medication in the room. Clear system for ordering drinks and where to sit. First evening had to approach bar staff at the bar to order pre dinner drinks. These were served to us outside and then places for dinner were laid around us which felt awkward. We are english and speak french, maybe certain staff's ability and confidence in speaking english was a slight barrier.

The gardens and quaint appearance of the buildings
Hardly any of the staff spoke a word of English.
Smell of drains in our bathroom
No washing facilities in the toilet
Poor wi-fi reception
All the tables in the restaurant were booked by people not staying at the hotel so we had to go out for dinner each night
Staff smoked and joked outside our bedroom at night.

A lovely quiet yet central location. Very good breakfast and superb dinner at the restaurant. Everything comfortable and service generally good.
The size of the bedroom was a bit tight. No mirror in the main room only in the bathroom. The lovely shower was spoiled to a degree by the slipperiness underfoot.

We liked the buildings and gardens.
We liked the waitresses and the chamber maids in housekeeping.
We thought that the position was brilliant and parking very convenient.
All of the ladies on reception except one were helpful and friendly.
We did not like the restaurant manager in the green T shirt who ignored you and failed to make eye contact. The young men serving (except one) were poorly trained and motivated.
The set menu for lunch/dinner and the same thing at breakfast every day was disappointing if you were staying for more than a couple of days.
The plugs in the room, extractor in loo/bathroom didn’t work. The toilet, ridiculously small and required a three point turn to enter and leave.
A menu in English would have been really helpful.

everything! one of the nicest places ever. it felt like a five star hotel and was definitely a five star experience. the staff was exceptional. the room with the balcony was impeccable. great for having breakfast on the balcony or evening snack. the hotel is just across from the Notre Dame church so it was very quiet and in a very quaint neighborhood. the little touches also make all the difference: the delicious caramels left on the table, the gorgeous wallpaper, the softest slippers, excellent bed, the view, the service. loved it all!
the ashtray on the table. what is it with the French and smoking? wonder why they assume you smoke? most cases they don't.

Very pretty grounds with a garden for guests, a very good, reasonably priced restaurant, the location a short walk from the beach, clean comfortable room with nice amenities.
We only stayed one night so were in a smaller interior room - it was very nice, but the hotel is noted for its 'houses' in the garden so it felt a bit cramped.
