The apartment was very well equiped and spacious. The bed was comfortable and there was free parking. Baby equipment was good as well (but costs 9€/day)
The whole experience feels more like a hostel than a 4 star hotel. No room service whatsoever, no fresh towels. We had to take out the rubbish and even remove the bed linen upon check out. They threaten to keep the 150€ deposit in case you don’t comply with this policy. We had no warm water in the room for one night and no explanation or real apology was given to us. Location is okay, it’s a short walk into the center. No food options closer than that.

Great location close to La Rochelle port. Lovely bars and restaurants. We felt very safe while in accommodation. The apartment was great, very comfortable, clean and good facilities.
Linen and towels are included, which is great in an apartment as a lot of places charge extra nowadays, which I find very annoying.

Nice and tidy hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooms are big and have anything you may need with a kitchenette. Has a swimming pool, but we did not use it. You can order a breakfast but we did not have time (they start at 8am). You not only have shower, but also a bath.
Swimming pool is open only to 7PM. Relatively late beakfast service. It is a partly self service place so you need to partly clean your room yourself before leave.

Staff were relly great. Location is not bad but there are not any shops or cafés nearby, its in a warehouse industrial type area...10 mins walk into the centre.
The place is just very much a 2 star motel. No air-conditioning (they give you one fan that doesnt do much). The decking by the pool is all covered by a green astro carpet, so its not really a place where you wamnt to spend too much time.

The area of the property was nice.
No air conditioning in the rooms, just a single fan to share between 5 people. The room must of been 28-30 degrees at night which made sleep a nightmare. We had breakfast once only due to there being absolutely nothing left at 9:30, I managed 2 rashers of bacon and a couple of bits of salami. This was charged at 44 euros for 5 people (I believe our youngest of 2 was free)
We had to leave early to get back to the ferry and left a key which a cleaner in the building, we were not told the procedure if leaving before reception opens at 8am.
The fridge in the room barely kept anything cold which meant we couldn’t keep much food inside as we were concerned with it going off.

The property is situation about 15 minutes walk from the town. The room size is good and the layout of the room for 3 people is perfect. The pool is lovely although not massive. 95% of the time you could get a sun lounger and even the remaining 5% you weren’t waiting too long.
We had a couple of minor issues with our room while we were there and these were resolved very quickly and the staff were efficient and helpful.
There is no air con but there is a fan in the room. Unfortunately though it was absolutely boiling in the room at night even with a fan.
There is no hand soap, washing up liquid or shower gel in the room and only 2 toilet rolls and 1 bin bag for the whole week. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk away but I would have rather paid a little more and had these in the room. There was no maid service for the week so bedding and towels aren’t changed. You also have to strip your bed when you leave and put bedding and towels in a holder on each floor.

Fantastic hotel- croissants etc can be ordered and collected in the morning. Super comfy beds and extremely quiet - we had a great nights sleep. Close to the centre of town- 10 mins walk. Spotlessly clean apartment with everything in the kitchen you would need inc a dishwasher!

Close to carrefour shop and McDonalds with 2 other very reasonably priced restaurants and a cinema. Had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back

I liked the swimming pool although small it was great for us & the kids to cool down.
I also liked you could hire bikes from the hotel which made it easy to do so.
I liked there was a laundry room with washing machines and iron to use which was useful.
I was surprised how small the kids twin room was it was basically an alcove without a window & the apartment didn't have aircon so it got quite hot/stuffy in there. Reception did provide a 2nd fan which helped a bit.
I don't think it was made clear on the website family rooms don't have an outside space or balcony.
I thought the breakfast buffet was expensive so I can't comment on quality.

The location was a fifteen minutes walk from the centre. It might not suit everyone but we were happy. It was nice to walk through the student area.

Lovely hotel. Very good value. Immaculately clean. Modern. Nice swimming pool (unfortunately weather not warm enough for me to use this). Fabulous location. Did not use the car as all well within walking distance including good supermarket 5 minutes way and McDonalds:) Some nice coastal walks. Overall very enjoyable; had hoped for better weather but could have been worse and not the fault of the hotel!
The room was smaller than I had anticipated as this is an aparthotel. No comfortable chair to sit on. So very difficult to relax in the evening. Only two dining chairs. Nowhere to relax in the hotel e.g. lounge (just a few arm chairs on the landing). Nowhere to sit outside except by the pool (and this was closed at 7.00pm). Absolutely my fault but to add to this, I inadvertently thought I had booked a room with a balcony which would have given me some extra space/somewhere to chill early evening. When I arrived I had no milk (Sunday pm).. The hotel said they had no milk (even though this has a breakfast restaurant?). They also said no shops open. I walked for miles around the town looking for milk. Then discovered on the way back that there is a small supermarket (America Street) very nearby open most of Sunday which sold milk!! The cooker top did not work from day 1. I thought I didn't know how to use it and wasn't cooking anyway. But then on day 3 the lights went out. Turns out that the box had tripped. No instructions regarding the resetting of the trip switch. Although staff very responsive and helpful think it was perceived that I should know how to un-trip the switch! Never had to do that in a hotel! ( I think the dishwasher was tripping the switch and it needs review). I didn't use that either because I wasn't cooking but did put it on one day which was when the lights shorted. The bath shower switchover difficult to use. It got stuck. Again a member of staff did sort this out when she came to review the light problem. The hotel took 250 euros damage deposit which was 50% of the week's stay!!! And told to clean the kitchen when I left. But I would have thought I had paid for the cleaning in my weekly rate (!!) and to charge 50% and then have to wait 5 days for this to be returned to me is not great customer service. Also, asking for somewhere to be left "clean" is highly subjective.
