Carlyos on reception was a star and upgraded us to a slightly better room with a microwave and a fridge . The WiFi worked and so did the TV. He was charming and his customer service skills went above and beyond.

The buildings were tired, they needed upgrading. The bedroom needed modernising and the shower was impossible to use for an 80 year old. Menu in the evening and breakfast were adequate.

It was really tired inside and out the rooms, in desperate need of renovation. We were notified the restaurant was closed 1day before arrival. It was not easy to find a restaurant not booked out on a Saturday night.Burger king next door, but not for me. Le Mans is not the most hospitable of towns.

The situation was where we wanted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good - the breakfast was particularly tasty. The room was typically a Campanile - but comfortable and clean.
The buildings were tired! The walkway to our room needed a complete renovation. I’m sure that before long the room will also need attention. Given some of the quality of other hotels we have stayed in during this trip, I feel it was rather expensive
Equipment quite obsolete, no A/C, clenlines can be better. Difficult to get fresh air safe way (window looking to the balcony/corridor)

For the price this was poor value, I would have expected more for the price. I've stayed in other hotels at the same cost as this one and they were FAR better. This should have been more like 70 euro per night

Simple things like soap dispenser in shower and hand basin both empty, arrived at allocated room to find it totally unprepared. The location is very noisy and a little dodgy. We travelled through France to our holiday destination so our car is left full outside. We walked back from our diner to oldish teenager hanging around doing some dodgy business. Nothing happened, and they were polite, but this was the hotel carpark, so they shouldn't be on there. The hotel had a barrier, but it didn't seem to be closed at all. So we felt very worried about our belongings and kept going out to check the car was fine. Furthermore, the hotel faces a long stretch of road that youngsters use as a motorbike/car racing track...so the noise was bad.

Obviously this is a budget stop and go location but for that end this was a nice stop off. Good location, secure parking. I haven’t travelled down via Le Mans before - the area seemed pretty quiet and safe. Arrived out of hours and staff turned up quickly to let me in. Room was basic but clean and comfortable and shower was excellent.
Be careful with the shower tap, as it could be knocked and go extremely hot very easily.

The breakfast was excellent - especially for a French motel!
There was a kettle and two cardboard cups, a microwave and a fridge.
The bathroom had a heated mirror, a really good shower and the washbasin and toilet had been updated.
The bed was very comfortable.
There were workmen everywhere. Our room was on the ground floor through an open corridor to a narrow back courtyard which was overgrown and a mess. The two doors into the room looked as if they'd been there since the 1950's as did the furnishings and carpet.
The whole of the decor left is feeling we had come to a slum.

Because I couldn't finish a booking for 2 rooms one for my disabled mother I booked first room paid 94 euros went to book the other room no rooms left so rang to say I can't carry on with booking this was 5mins I was told No Refund
