Our room was located near to where the "music club" was located so very noisy, also you can hear guests talking in rooms next to ours both sides and the shower was so awkward to get in and out if and I'm only short so not good!

The location of the hotel was superb

There was a bad smell in the room when we arrived, staff used air freshener to make the room acceptable. The air con leaked and caused a wet spot on the floor which created the smell. Staff were unable to move us to a different room as the hotel was full and could only attempt to dry the floor.

The hotel was in a very central location though the hotel parking is several streets away. The room was clean and comfortable and fine for one night. There was a good choice of food at breakfast.

We did not sleep well as it was very hot in the room and the air conditioning was not working. When I commented on this at check out, I was informed that the system was operated centrally and I needed to ask the reception staff to switch it on! Nobody had told us this and it was not written in the room information.

Great location, comfortable and clean. Handy private parking at a cost of €18 a night which I didn’t mind paying.

Guests shouting out of the hotel window at 3 in the morning which the hotel staff were reluctant to do anything about. A bit disappointed as I know other hotels would not have tolerated that sort of behaviour.

Bathroom was a bit outdated. It would be a great place if the bathroom would be nicer.

The red fox is a great hotel . We have stayed many times. Location is fantastic and the breakfast is good .

Whilst staying this time we had an issue with the toilet roll hold . The lid of the dispenser was broken and as I used the toilet the lid came down hitting me in the head cause a small cut to my forehead. I did report this to the staff but nothing was done or said about it . Everything single time I went to the toilet I had to lift the dispenser lid up just to be able to get to the toilet.

Central location, nice staff, clean, good breakfast, good hot shower

Pillows were too hard - not soft enough, the light was broken in room and had to ask several times for staff to fix it. Staff were not very good about fixing it. The toilet, bathroom and shower were far too small - no room to swing a cat or sat on toilet, couldn’t even stretch out arms. The shower screen made it really hard t get into shower and the seal was not very good

A brilliant location with shops, bars & restaurants nearby & a very short walk to the beach. Very helpful staff who advised on parking.

Very creaky floors in our room (409) & the adjoining room which was a little unsettling (it sounded as if our neighbour was actually in our room).

Great location and clean, well equipped hotel with friendly staff

Bathroom was very compact with very limited space around the toilet and difficult access into the bath for shower use. Only two accessible plug sockets in the room one of which had the desk lamp plugged in USB sockets were on one side of the bed only Bottom sheet on bed was not a fittedsheet, and was too small so it didn't tuck under the mattress properly.

The hotel is in a great position, close to all shops and restaurants. And not far from the beach. Reception staff are very friendly. the covered car park is a bonus. The room we had was very small and basic. But clean and comfortable and OK for the weekend.

The room was very small. The shower didn’t have a cubicle.

Location. Parking easy on the prom. 5 mins away.

We had rm 310. It was very small with hardly any table/ flat place to put things. The shower was IMPOSSIBLE -I am slender, but it was tiny and had a very small side barrier so water would have gone everywhere. We Had no showers as could see it would be useless. Depressing. One night was enough. Toilet was squashed in too. Breakfast was expensive for what we could choose.

The room was clean and quite spacious with a huge bed. The location was central on a main part of the High Street - easy to walk anywhere. Car parking was available for €18 per night in a secure underground garage a few minutes walk away. Both members of staff that I dealt with at the hotel were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
