Handy for an early Eurostar and also exploring the old town. High ceilings and clean room. Friendly welcome from the staff.
There is a lot of noise from the room above (and the corridor at times). There are no drinks making facilities or fridge. The room wasn’t very cozy as just one small heater. It was expensive for what it was.

The staff was very friendly when I arrived so I decided to stay at the hotel's restaurant to eat. The food was great even if I showed up late. I recommend their Flemish stew if you want a quick and hot dish to eat.
The room is very clean and the bathroom big and comfortable. I had a view on Lille Flandres train station which look good from above and the wi-fi provided is very quick and reliable.
I don't have anything to say here. The reception is at the restaurant's desk below the hotel, which you need to look for a bit.

If it helps other travellers, I include a picture of where the WC flush button is (it is well concealed). In the morning, looking from my window to the place de la Gare, in May sunlight, I felt my holiday had now begun!

The hotel was good value for money. Bed was comfortable. The room was big enough. Also the view was nice.
Breakfast was disappointing. It really didnt have that much of anything. The parking was terrible, we got no response from the hotel and tried to find a park downtown ending paying up to 30€ for the park. There should be better instructions in the hotel description. There was also just one planket which is not nice when travelling with friend

If you are taking in consideration the parking that “they have” to decide which hotel to stay, don’t take this one, they have only 2 parking spaces, which I asked about just after confirming my reservation and they took days to reply and say that there was no parking spaces available anymore.
There is no fan or AC in the room, and on the street it was too noisy to leave the window open.

Excellent price quality ratio. Worth every penny. For the amount we paid I couldn't expect any more. They offer a nice breakfast at 11 euros and a privaatti parking at 12 euros.

Secondly there was a very bad smell of washroom drainage pipes. Made the room smell bad always . Even when you open the window.

The hotel is close to the station but also to the center city. Large terrace with good assortment of drinks (nice IPA!). Room looks tired, but bathroom was refurbished.
Reception was moderate. Bed was acceptable but being close to the station implies that on one hand there is a lot of noise outside. Inside as well since other guests got up at four at night and with the wooden floors you cannot miss that. My car could not be parked at the hotel and the garage at the station was a ten minutes walk with luggage and very expensive.

I am fascinated by these bad reviews...I paid a bargain bucket price for 2 rooms in the middle of Lille - excellent location for us. Right over the road from Eurolille and 5 minute easy walk from the main train station and coaches etc. Was I expecting 5 star facilities? Nope...but we were rocking a budget so we made a choice. It's rooms above a bar and the bar seems v popular - good for them in this economy, frankly. The hotel is indeed in a "lively" spot - of course it will be noisy if you sleep with the windows open, which we did as it was hot but there we go. The bed was comfy and clean and the bathroom huge and also clean with housekeeping in every day - thank you to the lady who did our room. The welcome was lovely and efficient too when we arrived.
These are not negatives, just honest comments. The rooms are a more than a little tired and both the rooms and the corridors could do with a lick of paint and a refresh at some point but it is what is it - it's rooms above a very busy bar and it's opposite a train station which attracts some restless and loud characters at 3am! I knew where I was going and again, paid an absolute bargain of a price point so all good tbh! Thin walls meant we heard some neighbours but this happens in many hotels.

I was staying for the night because had an early train in the morning, choose the hotel due to closeness to the train station and that there are some restauration choices in the radius of 300 meters. The room is simple, has the necessary.
There was a smell of toilet in the corridor. Noise from outside ( but what do u expect other than that with the location), doors loudly closing of neighbors on the floor, but WORST woke up at night to the sound of little paws and scratches behind wood, couldn’t understand what it was, until realized it’s some living little animals scratching at night. Couldn’t sleep because of that.

I couldn't lock the room door, It was so stiff.
I thought us was one of those one that locked itself because I couldn't turn the key.
A man came into my room at around midnight!!
I scared him and he scurried off.
My checkout time was 11 o'clock and the housekeeping staff came into the room twice!! Both before 10 o'clock which was well before my checkout time.
These things made my stay a very unpleasant experience.
