The hotel was clean and pretty.
The check-in was late although 16h is already late for a check-in.
The restaurant / bar is closed at check-in time so you have to go elsewhere to get a drink or snack while you wait.
The shower was impossible to use without getting a large part of the bathroom wet.
The hotel seems to be needing some renovations (halls leading to the rooms).

Spacious room, parking on site, 5 min. walk to the nearest metro station and a supermarket nearby. Air conditioning is working well, this is very IMPORTANT!
The room needs repair and good cleaning. The first room we had received was very different from the photos of booking site but at the end we had an adequate room. Kitchenette has just few thing, no enough glass for all of us but the reception refused to give us one more.

They stored our luggage as check in is very late - 4pm. We could walk to the train station - Lyon Part-Dieu is about 15mins. Basic breakfast is included and was appreciated.
We were in Lyon for the Rugby World Cup.
We had two double rooms so two guests per room. They provided one towel per room.
One of the rooms was not ready at 4pm check in. When we returned later that night at around 11.30pm, the man working in reception tried to make us pay for this room, despite advising him we had already paid for both rooms upon check in. The man working reception did not listen to me until my husband approached him repeating what I said about already paying for the room.
The bed in this room was made with a fitted sheet only, with top sheet and doona folded on the end of the bed. Make your own bed!!

The rooms are compact but quite practical. They have a small but really functional kitchenette, with a small coffee machine and dishwasher. A quite spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed. Not bad soundproofing. The rooms are clean. Super friendly staff. There is a luggage storage at reception.
Would have been nice to have power socket near the bed, but not critical.
Public areas in the hotel could use some refreshment, but this is clearly due to heavy use rather than neglect and is a purely cosmetic issue.

The 2 room suite was a great layout when traveling with 5 people. The location was close to the train station and convenient to many restaurants.
The rooms could use updating and some maintenance. There was peeling paint in the bathroom and some noticeable mold, the door handle on one of the rooms did allow the door to stay closed, and the carpet was stained and coming up in areas.

The place is in desperate need of updating and renovation. It is dirty, most upholstery is stained and soiled, furniture old and in a terrible state, paint chipping off walls and furniture, bathroom is dated and tired, ventilation unit makes a loud noise every 10minutes, stairs creak with every step, floor boards are coming apart, unfortunately the list is endless here. It was a super disappointing stay. If it wasn’t so late and I wasn’t travelling with children, I would not have stayed.

The Appartment #321 was dirty, curtains were dirty and unattached, the painting was destroyed, there are holes in the walls, the air conditioning was not functioning and we were told it can’t be repaired ⁉️ The laundry system is uselessly complex and linked to an app for no reason. The ironing system is crap with a defect ironing appliance. The ironing and laundry room is dirty, not ventilated and full of mold ⁉️We had to beg to get the Appartment cleaned. I honestly do not recommend anyone to stay in this Appartment til it is refurbished ⁉️

The room had two single beds instead of a double bed, which constantly moved apart during sleep. The noise of the sewerage system was very audible in the room, as people were draining water or washing in the showers of neighbouring rooms. The kettle was located under the smoke detector - every time I boiled water, the detector was triggered by surprise - it was very shocking

the bathroom looked abit dated. the corridors' ceilings were exposed so you could see pipes and everything. Didn't realise that the city was making many road works, so quite a number of roads around the property had transport diverted or stops moved. It would have been nice for the property to update this on their listing so guests can make a better decision in choosing.
