The hotel is in a perfect location close to the subway and relevant bus lines. The rooms (studio) are modern and somewhat spacious. The kitchen, although small, has the necessary equipment to cook some nice meals and save some money that way. At the entrance, they have a water fountain that also serves sparkling water, which was really nice.
The worst part of this hotel is that not all workers spoke English which made it difficult to communicate properly. Another aspect was that the floor of the room was dusty, it felt like it had not been vacuum cleaned. The kitchen does not have an exhaust fan, so the smells can take quite a bit to dissipate from the room.

The hotel is very close to the metro station, so it was very easy to reach different places in the city and also the main bus station (and from there the airport). It’s also close to the Vieux‑Port and Notre Dame de la Garde where you can go walking.
It was cold outside so in the room as well, so we had to have the heating on most of the time, but because of that the air was extremely dry. There was no cups in the kitchen and only tree little glasses. There was also problem with electricity and a fuse blowing out all the time. What is more (not that important but anyway) the view from the windows couldn’t be called a view.

Even though we like the concept of the hotel and we were staying here for a second time, I'm putting this mark more for the management of the hotel. We had a very unpleasant surprise on the day of our arrival. Before the arrival, the hotel froze 760eur from my card and I thought okay it's fine because this is the amount we have to pay for the stay, so when we will arrive, we'll only pay city taxes and that's it. But when we were checking-in, we were asked for an extra 760eur + city taxes and the receptionist told us that they will only unfreeze the amount they took before arrival when we will check out. There was nowhere mentioned in the description while booking, that the hotel freeze 100% of the payment until the end of the stay, like a deposit.
We asked the receptionist for an explanation and if there is a possibility to reduce the frozen amount because we haven't planned an extra 750 eur to be eliminated from our holiday budget. The receptionist told us he can't do anything about it, he agreed this is a weird situation because usually the hotel takes as a deposit 2-3 night payment, which wasn't the case now. Also he told us to call booking, it was weird, because the hotel is administrating all the payments, but anyway, we called to booking support and they told what we thought: that the hotel takes care of the payments. Booking tried to reach out the manager of the hotel, but their email was ignored. 0 effort for collaboration on solving the problem.
We stayed in same brand hotel in Nice few days before the arrival to Marseille and we had no problems in it with the deposit. The Adagio in Nice precise in their description that they take deposit. Adagio in Marseille could take and example to avoid unhappy and misled clients.
I wonder what would have happened if we didn't have an extra 760eur, would the hotel kick us out even they froze same amount?

On arrival, checking in was quick, easy, and informative, and the person who checked us in was wonderful to talk to. The room itself was clean and equipped with a small kitchenette and fridge, as well as a spacious bathroom.
The location was perfect to attend a rugby match at Stade Velodrome just down the road, within a 10 minute walk.
While we had booked a one-bedroom apartment for 4 people, only the 2 x single beds were made up. The double fold out bed was still set up as a couch, with no sheets or pillows set out for our use. We had to hunt through the cupboards to find and make up the bed ourselves despite our booking being for 4 people. Once the bed was made up, it made the living space in the room virtually unusable except as space to sleep. There were no images available to show the rooms with sleeping arrangements for 4 despite acknowledging availability for 4.

The hotel's location was perfect for the events we were attending and very close to Perier Metro station, but with it being set back off of the road it was very quiet at night. The kitchenette had all we needed for a short stay and the air-con in the room was very well received. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. It is a functional rather than luxury hotel, but was better than many of the other hotels I've stayed at in the same sort of price band and I'd happily stay there again.
Not a major point, but the swimming pool is only open from 10:00 until 21:00 and that didn't suit me on this trip where an earlier opening time would have been handy.

I stayed at the hotel over six nights for the Olympic football. The hotel is excellently located for the Stade Velodrome being a 20 minute walk to the Stadium. There are restaurants on the way, enabling me to eat after the matches had ended. The hotel is about 100 metres from the Perrier Metro Line, with a direct line to the main station and links to the Harbour Area for sightseeing. I found the area safe to walk around and encountered no issues. The hotel is clean and comfortable and all appliances worked. The breakfast choice is good. There was someone on reception every time I walked past. There is a swimming pool, but I did not use it.
The hotel is not well sign posted. One needs to look for a small orange square giving the name of the hotel about six metres up in front of an entrance for cars.

The room was on the ground floor, quiet from outside noise thanks to the fact that rooms are not facing the main street. The location was very convenient for me as I had an appointment very close by. Bed was comfortable.
The rooms are ok but don't expect any soul or decorative taste. The electrical box at the entrance and the fridge is making some noise so switch off the fridge if you don't intend to use it. The shower curtains are kind of sad with their bottom parts stained with mould due to humidity. I think the management should find a way to replacing the curtains with some other solution.

It was close to a city centre. When we run out of toilet paper, they gave it to us and there was also free drinking water at the reception

The Aparthotel is located just some minutes from the nearest metro station. The room is well-equipped,the kitchen accessories are useful.
Not sure how it works at the hotel but cleaning would be needed more frequently in the room.

The area was very good, large boulevard where you could walk safely, with restaurants and shops. The apartment was ok per total, we didn’t try the breakfast or the parking.
Very, very small apartment but we expected that, the problem was that the bathroom ceiling was very dirty, also the door from the toilet.

24/7 reception staff, good breakfast, located near the M2 subway line. Friendly staff, speak English.
Small room (more like a budget Japanese hotel than Europe), no room upkeep whatsoever (they make you pay for it), the room safe was broken, the induction stove didn't work (or I didn't;t know how to operate it, they should have a manual), no (corkscrew) bottle opener (in France!).
