The rooms are extremely small, bathrooms are worse. It gives a sense of a chip motel. We had to request a room change, even though it says smoke-free, it smells terrible.

The lobby is really nice and modern, rather cozy and clean. The beds were nice and the size of the room was appropriate. Very nice patio for breakfast, which also was rather good.
The surroundings now are in works, and it was extremely uncomfortable to walk to the metro. The airco was not working. The rather busy road is just near, so with window it was ok for the temperature but too noisy. One week later I have not received back 'frozen' money on my card.

Solid 8.5 from me but couldn’t choose in option-hotel has a wonderful smell in lobby,also bathroom is pretty decent-good shower pressure,enough hot water,comfortable bed,good air conditioner performance!I parked my car exactly opposite of the hotel other side of the street in small parking(all good with a car).

It's good location it's not far away from marseille stadium
Cleanliness from the first day I was surprised when I lifted the cover that there were food remains from the previous people who lived in the room before me and the air conditioning is very bad to the point that it broke down on the last day of the trip, but the hotel provided us with bottles of cold water to cool our atmosphere

Perfect Location for the Football ground and Vellodrome (i went for the Olympic Football). The room was spacious, very clean (cleaned every day) and one of the best showers i have had in a hotel for a long time!
The staff make this hotel great, i was a solo female traveller and was made to be felt very welcome: Special mention for Habib, Gregory and Majid, top customer service!
Smallest downfall (and my own fault) is that as a solo female traveller i should have looked more on the route in to town - would not recommend walking at night on your own.

The amenity tray had one tea bag, no coffee, no sugar nothing more!
The room was not clean.

Spacious room, well located for the Vélodrome, good (and needed) AC, reception had a nice atmosphere, they gave us chilled water from a fridge in the reception which was an absolute blessing in the heat, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Water temperature was a little inconsistent at times, location is inconvenient for anything other than the Vélodrome or if you're injured / disabled it can require serious planning to get into the city. Staff can be a little hard to read (but are actually lovely!)

Close to public transportation. You had two ways to get there.
€3.00 from the centre of everything including morning markets where you could get plenty of cheap stuff as tokens.
Communication with staff (can't recall me of the gentleman who checked is in during late shift) was excellent despite the language barrier. I was able to access what I felt would help us enjoy.the.stay better.
Dinner was tasty and reasonably priced. We learnt new recipes. And bartender/ waiter gets full points for effort and tolerance.

NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY THE WORST STAY THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED!!!
First when we arrived we had to already payed for our stay. That was the first time in my life with that concept that in a hotel you pay the first that when you check in. The garage for the most part didn’t work, and we couldn’t got out for approximately 20-40 min. The woman at the reception blamed us and the other hotel guests that also tried to get out (btw we all have the same password for garage and she maked us feel like idiots!). The room was not clean at all (floor and lining - terrible). And here is the best part…when we arrived back in the home country I noticed changes in my bank account. When I opened it, it was 100 euros taken from my back account from the hotel!!! (We payed everything at the 1st day if you remember). When I tried to contact them via booking massage, they haven’t responded yet (it was already a week from our trip). So I have reached to booking service, hope they will figure something out, otherwise I will have to go through different path. WILL NEVER RESERVE AGAIN!!!

Friendly staff, easy check in and out, and parking underground and secure. Free cold bottled water and a comfortable reception area with a big TV with sports on, which my partner enjoyed.
Clean and presentable. Got what we paid for regards our room. Breakfast okay, and refreshed plenty of times so doesn’t run out.
Location isn’t the best as it’s on a main road but you’d know that on booking. It’s 45 mins walk to city centre or beaches (if you get a bike or a scooter that makes it 10 mins so no issue).
The bedroom aircon wouldn’t go under 21 degrees and we were both BOILING all night every night.

City of Marseille disappointed us: dirty streets, too dangerous even in public transportation (lots of police officers in the main stations but cannot solve most of the problems).

The room wasn't very big for the price paid. The food (and even plates) offered at breakfast wasn't enough for the amount of people present. As soon as staff (only 1 hotel person present in the breakfast area for about 30 guests) put down anything (baguette, plates) it was all gone instantly. And it took long for staff to resupply the buffet. In some cases it wasn't restocked even though there was still 30min to go before the end of breakfast.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The staff were super nice and provided all the help that visitors needed. They answered any question I had and made the stay really enjoyable. I liked the pastries present in the breakfast and the location of the hotel is nice too.
I would have loved if there was a phone in the room to call the reception when needed. It would have been even nicer if the breakfast options covered more varieties.
