Good location, 10min walk from the Jean Médecin train station (for the airport) and a 4min walk to the Nice-Ville train station (for other destinations).
The key card I was given didn't work 4 times and had to keep getting reset, sometimes more than once, for no apparent reason.
The room was a decent size and had large lockers, which fit my large luggage nicely.
The 3-tier bunks were very flimsy and the ladder for mine was crammed in between the other bunk, so you had to squeeze to climb up. Every small movement shook the whole bunk, rattled the corrigated plastic on the walls, and was felt by everyone. The bed had 1 plug and no shelving, along with no sides except one part near the pillow, so your things could fall down very easily, and there was a decent gap between the bed and the wall.
There were curtains, which was great, but the long side did have a gap, which was annoying (photo).
The bathroom was very small and the bathmat had stains. The shower pressure was good, but had an uneven temperature.
You had to get a hair-dryer from reception, but they were given out and not returned for hours, so there were not enough, and there was no effort made to ensure they came back.
There were no cooking facilities, but there was free still/sparkling water and a free coffee machine.
For having a bar, the hostel was very quiet, and there was plenty of space in the communal area. There was 1 toilet in the communal area, and 2 urinals with no door, which were right next to the toilet. They provided free earplugs, which was great.

Everything is very clean and nicely maintained. It was my 2nd time here - all things are kept as good as new. Mattress is comfi, beds are super clean. Tea and coffee available all day - which made my stay very comfortable (especially since the weather wasn't good). Microwave and dishes/knives /forks/spoons at your disposal.
No fridge.
The lower bed ceiling is too low to sit up - hit my head several times :(
Although the bathroom was very clean, there was a cockroach smell from sewage or from ventilation.
Could add a rubber mat or towel on the floor in the bathroom.

Location is good and great connectivity via trains and bus. Really close to main station Nice-Ville which makes travelling to nearby locations like Antibes, Eze, Monaco etc very easy. Staff is friendly and property is clean

Found that the breakfast was pretty limited - either pastries or cereal. I also pulled out of my mouth a shard of plastic from my yogurt bowl which was a little terrifying because it could’ve seriously scratched my throat if I swallowed it and been dangerous. After that I didn’t really eat any breakfast because I was too nervous. Overall it was super clean and most of the staff were nice but I wanted to write a review because hopefully someone from management will go through the kitchen to see how plastic is breaking and ending up into the yogurt bowls.

The location is nice, right next to the train station. There is free water and drinks for breakfast. The staff was helpfull. Big lockers. Cleaning was okay. Wifi was working well.
I chose the 4 bedroom dorm, i would not recommend it. It was so small, looking like a prison cell more than a bedroom, you couldn't stand in the room more than 1 people at a time. The bunk bed was moving when climbing on it, it was so hot in the room, feeling oppressed. The sink in the bathroom was broken, the toilet paper was so thin...I don't recommend at all this place, maybe just for 1 night but no more. Oh and I guess they manage to have very good reviews because the staff gives you a free gift on checkout if you put a 5 star review...

Very near the Nice-Ville train station, 30min walk from Nice Old Town and beach area. Nothing particularly bad about the hostel, it meets the basic expectations of a hostel.
It was quite expensive for what seemed like a rather basic hostel, but then again, accommodation in Nice is generally expensive. The street right outside the hostel seems slightly a little dodgy (for my standards).

I stayed here for 4 nights. Overall, I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were great, and the staff was friendly. Prime and quiet location.
My only complaint is that the breakfast was a little bit of a disappointment. I understand it is a simple breakfast, but why not make scrambled eggs instead of cold boiled eggs every day?
Beans would be another cheap, tasty, and nutritious option to go with the eggs.
I would definitely stay again though, Merci beaucoup!

Late check out for 5 EUR, sangria at the bar, clean sheets, a private bathroom, a microwave, big lockers, and some of the staff was really nice (Deva and the girl from Argentina at the bar). The location is also comfortable because the hostel is near the train station.
For the price I paid I have a lot to complain about. This is not a 20 EUR hostel, but the most expensive hostel I have ever stayed at.
The vibe of the hostel is bad, and I might have an idea why. First of all - it's so cold everywhere. Starting from the room, which was tiny, ending up with the common area. Further - unnecessary rules that I don't understand. We are backpackers, and we are on a budget. Of course we want to prepare food for ourselves or bring some food to consume at the hostel, that is a normal backpacking life. Oh, wait, it's not allowed here, at least when the bar is open. The breakfast and the food that was served didn't look appealing and was pricey, anyway, so I ate inside when it was allowed or outside when the bar was open. Also, I was okay with the fact the hostel does not have a kitchen, while a microwave was a big plus, it would be better if there was a fridge so that we can keep our food fresh. There are two fridges that we are not allowed to use, but they were empty all the time (I mistakenly put some food inside, but it was immediately trashed, which I also consider unethical, at least someone who did it could have left a note so that I can eat it).
It looks like everything was designed to keep the guests away from the hostel. Everybody was on their phone, which is weird for a hostel, but I guess it's due to the vibe.
Further, the bathroom in my room was bad. The shower cab leaks underneath, and it made a mess every time someone showered. It wasn't cleaned daily like in other hostels, so the smell was sometimes unbearable. The bed was not the most comfortable one either, I was waking up with the back pain.

There is just one facility lacking, in my opinion: a shared kitchen and a fridge. Without it, I think it's difficult to eat well, and on a budget... The prices are also a bit high, but that's the game

The private room was amazing. It felt like an actual hotel. The private room location is on the first floor so be aware you will be able to hear when people are hanging out in the common areas but for me it was not an issue :)

I stayed in a 4-bed dorm with its own bathroom. The beds have privacy drapes, their own light, and power outlet. The lockers are big. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
The common room doesn't have comfortable seating. The price for a hostel was surprisingly high, especially for late September.

Very good location. Two blocks away from a very popular avenue which means that you have lots of restaurants next doors. The lockers had different compartments and spacious. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming.
I wish there was another bathroom outside the room to be get clean when the bathroom inside the room was taking. I didn't see one in the floor where my bedroom was located so I had to go the first floor to use the extra bathroom.

The location of the hostel is very good; you can reach the city center within a maximum of 15 minutes on foot. The staff are friendly.
Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with our stay because the room we were given did not appear in any of the photos. We had booked a double room; however, the bed consisted of two single beds pushed together. Both the bed base and the mattress were single, and they were only joined by the bedsheet. As a result, the bed was very uncomfortable and kept separating during the night. In none of the photos did the bed appear in this way. In addition, the room had a bathtub instead of a shower. Since the room was located in the attic, the ceiling was sloped and the bathtub had been placed there; however, it was not possible to take a proper shower. We could not stand upright due to the ceiling height and were forced to shower while sitting in the bathtub, which was very inconvenient. The fact that there was no resemblance at all between the room shown in the photos and the room we stayed in made this a very disappointing experience.

Base sheet is rubber plastic , sticky and with grime/extra sticky spots (not clean) . Hard spring mattress that gave me sore ribs the next day. And triple stack bunk beds that wake all three members when someone moves . Also dangerous !

I stayed here for two days and a night. I absolutely hated my stay here. It is relatively close to the Nice Ville train station and was clean but other than that it failed on every count. I think the good reviews are in exchange for a towel like some other guests mentioned because it was definitely one of the worst stays I've had.
The 3 tiered bunk beds are ridiculous, they want to squeeze more into the same space that would usually be a two level bunk bed, so the space between the two bunk levels is so small that you cannot actually sit on your bed and I hit my head on the bed above me every time I got up! The highest level is very high up and super inconvenient to get to and again because the space is so small, even harder to squeeze into. The bathroom is small and cramped too. The staff were unhelpful and transactional, the lady at the front desk was rude and unpleasant. The baggage storage is a joke! It's a tiny closet and all the bags are piled one on top of the other, there's literally not enough space to even move in there to put your bag away or take it out. So you only have to throw it on top of the pile from the doorway and hope you don't break anything in your bag. The common area was okay, kind of dark and gloomy.

They offer free water (still and sparkling), so love it.
The laundry place is good.
The staff is NICE.
