The location of this hotel is phenomenal, it is only a few minutes walk from the main train station in Nice, from where you can visit other cities of the CΓ΄te d'Azur!
The hotel staff was excellent.
The choice and quality of food at breakfast is good.
The room we first got was not the one we booked, it was much smaller and dirty in certain places (the bathroom with hairs and the coffee cups were dirty), but after complaining at the reception, we got a better room the very next day, which was great.

Room size was perfect for 2 people. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel itself is updated and clean.
The location is very close to the train station. For traveling by bus Eastward to Villefranche, Cape Farrat, or Monaco it required an additional tram ride to the bus stop which wasn't difficult but not walking distance.
The walls were very thin, the noise seems to carry between rooms. If you have noisy neighbors you will hear them. Same for the floors, it seems like every footstep from above was audible. Thankfully our neighbors were respectful during the late evening hours.
The comfort of the bed was average.

Room cleaning during our 4 nights stay consisted of making up the bed. The sink was not cleaned even once. After the second night there was no soap in the shower dispenser. Used empty glasses were not removed and replaced with clean ones. By North American standards it would be a 2 star rating.

We were lucky to get a really good deal on Booking for Hotel Khla. At first, we got one of those small rooms (around 15 sqm) that everyone talks about. The size didnβt really bother us, but there was a strong smell coming from the carpet. We asked for a room change, and the next day we were moved to a bigger one without carpet β which was great!
The staff were super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of proteins, vegetables, and also sweets. We really appreciated the little Halloween-themed treats and the nice decorations around the hotel.
The location is also great β just a 2-minute walk from the train station, with easy access to tram, bus, and lots of places within walking distance.
If we ever come back to Nice, weβll definitely stay here again!

The heating was done with air conditioner unit but it was very noisy and was not heating well. More choices for breakfast would be great.

Great location, very convenient to the train station and a nice 10-15 min walk to old town. The highlight is Jason in the breakfast room - he is simply fabulous! Jason is a great cook, a wonderful host and beyond friendly!!!
