The wall behind the bed was dirty, there is not enough room in the place for bags with all the furniture that was very flimsy, I would recommend removing the wardrobe unit to allow space for bags, and even jsut having coffee and tea services downstairs rather than a table and chairs in the rooms, the people next door were very loud until 12:30, had multiple people in their room talking loudly, I could also here someone next door coughing, poor soundproofing

We stayed for one night only. The staff were friendly, and the location is great, making it easy to explore the area. For the price, it’s a great budget-friendly option that offers excellent value.
However, the parking situation was disappointing. We tried to reserve a spot in advance as the hotel advertises parking for guests, but were told it was already full. They informed us that the parking reservation costs 20 euros, but since it was unavailable, we had to park at a nearby public lot, which cost 27 euros per day. It would be helpful if the hotel provided more accurate information about parking availability or alternatives when spots are full.

The location of the hotel was outstanding. A short walk to the promenade des anglais. The room itself was spacious enough and staff were also very accomodating. Only negative is there are no lifts, with heavy bags it’s difficult. Would definitely come back and stay again at this hotel.

The location is great - a short walk to the waterfront, but on a quiet street. The room was moderately spacious.
There is no lift, and the stairs curve around making carrying our suitcases up and down quite precarious because of the narrow steps. Also the doors to the room aren’t soundproof, so you hear other guests coming and going. I also expected a few more amenities in the bathroom. There was only a tiny sliver of soap and a small sachet of shampoo.

This was a beautiful gem of a hotel with lots of old world charm. We really enjoyed our stay here in our last night in Nice. The staff were gracious and professional during our stay adding to the charm. We also appreciated being able to leave a suitcase at the hotel for a week prior to our arrival while we explored another region. We absolutely would love to stay here again (Nice has stolen our heart) and would highly recommend it to others.... close to the Promenade, restaurants, 20 minute walk to Old Nice, quiet neighborhood.

The hotel is ideally situated five minutes from the tram stop and beach, and ten minutes from the train station. The cheaper rooms are a little small, but fine if travelling on your own. Room has a large window, with little noise from the street, and the bed was very comfortable, and no issues with the wi-fi. Reception was manned 24 hours with polite and helpful staff. Being an old building the stairs and corridors are a little narrow, but not a problem. Would be happy to stay here again.
Being diabetic, I didn't have breakfast as it was bread and pastries, which was a shame. but many local places to eat nearby.

The beds are comfortable and the room was welcoming and clean. The staff was very pleasant, and the building has character. We were on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet.
The shower in the bathroom was so small that when my husband dropped his shampoo he could not pick it up without stepping outside of the shower. I had asked to have a taxi called for an early morning ride to the airport and they forgot. The morning person took care of it and we were so close to the airport that we were not late (thank goodness).

I adored the decoration with proper toile de jouy not just wallpaper, a period fire place , charming furnishings and very comfortable bed. I liked the old fashioned welcome and solicitous staff.
I loved the property . Only criticism was very insubstantial and ordinary soap. Better toiletries would make a difference. It said that still water would be charged 2 euro but that didn’t happen. No fridge but a working kettle.
