Beautiful old, small hotel. Attention to detail in room furnishings and decor (seems all rooms are different) is great. Front Desk staff was superb, and the hand drawn map of local restaurants with personal observations and recommendations we received from on of the managers was fantastic, and well worth it. Bathroom is enormous (not sure if true for all of the rooms, but largest hotel bathroom I've come across). Location could not be better for exploring Paris. Walking distance of Notre Damm and the Louve - but the St. Germaine area is just great on its own. Definitely staying here again.
Not a lot of space in the room itself, but that's only because the bed is really big. So, trade-offs. Mostly it was just inconveniant as we didn't want to unpack our luggage, and there was no place to put the suitcases down and open them so we could just work out of them.

Exellent location in the Latin Quarter with river Seine and Notre Dame within a few hundred yards and loads of restaurents and bars with in easy walking distance. Breakfast each morning was excellent and it was good to find an early breakfast at 7am as we were out early every day. Nice quite room. Bathroom facilities in excellent repair with copious and quickly available hot water.
The room was a little compact and although it is sold as a superior room with 161sq feet, in reality 20% of this is in a corridor between the door and the room, with the bathroom off to one side. That said we didn't really spend any time in the room other than for sleeping and an afternoon nap.

Hair dryer was helpful and fast.
Air conditioning was very good. Heating the room quickly when I arrived into room soaked through from the rain outside but then cooling the room quickly when needed also.
Stayed in room 52 and would choose this hotel and room for all my Paris visits.
Hotel breakfast was lovely. Freshly delivered pastries from local patisserie’s each morning plus cooked eggs, bacon, sausage then also fresh fruit, breads, yoghurts and cheese provided also 2 cereal options available and their freshly squeezed orange juice was delightful.
Decor was nice, traditional but with updated functionality.
Small cosy bar area which also provided empty glass bottles and a filtered water tap for guests to use for your room - another lovely, practical and helpful touch!
Hotel also had elevator which was helpful since I was on 5th floor.
Location of hotel is perfect.
All staff were very welcome and helpful.
I can’t wait to return!

The hotel is in a good location, it’s central and near lots of restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the Notre Dame and toot bus stop and rerb b.
The staff were polite and helpful.
The room was so cold, the thermostat had been turned off and I had to ask twice to get it turned on, no heating in the bathroom which was cold the entire stay, I found the bed to be uncomfortable as it was too soft (I do have a bad back) but my daughter found hers to be comfortable. The communication via booking.com was non existent before the stay, I had emailed the hotel numerous times and had no response, on checking out in the early hours I was asked to settle my bill which I had already done, I was asked to prove I had done so, I imagine this is down to their systems and not human error. I would still recommend this hotel for its convenience.

The building is an old one, so if you want a brand new box like modern hotel this might not be for you however if you want a building with character and don't mind older/smaller rooms and bathrooms it will be.

The location is very convenient.
1. I made a mistake by making 2 bookings via 2 booking platform. 1 of them allow cancelling but will receive partial refund even when i have missed the cancellation dateline. When i arrived at the hotel, i requested to cancel one of the booking and charged me for 1 night (as it was my mistake for not cancelling the booking prior to cancellation dateline), the staff refused and we have to resort to taking 2 rooms.
2. I later found out that one of the booking platform allowed me to cancel but i will only receive partial refund. i went ahead and cancel and only received partial refund. I later took the front desk (different person) that even though we have keys to 2 rooms but since i have cancel one of the booking and only receive partial refund, i will stick to 1 room and return one of the room key.
3. Had i not checked my booking policy again, i would have not received any refund and i felt somehow cheated by the hotel staff.
