Location was very good, just across the street from Gare St. Lazare; restaurants, bakery, pharmacies, close by as well. Walking distance to Galeries Lafayette.
In such a central location, this small hotel would have been perfect with a good renovation. Room was nice but old wooden bed needs replacement. Lift very small (one person and one piece of luggage each time) and you have to press the button several times to call it.

The location is excellent and the staff were generally helpful.
There was a constant problem accessing the room as the card wouldn't work and no one had the intelligence or energy to replace the lock batteries. This led to time being wasted and I was with a young child. The room reeked of stale cigarettes and I had requested a non smoking room. The lift was more like a kitchen shaft from 1920.

The elevator is a joke - only one person at a time. Peeling wallpaper and paint. Curtains off the rails. AWFUL smell. One outlet in the room. Bathroom outlet for shavers only. Most of the square footage of the room was the hallway. Questionable security. Anemic air conditioner, covered in dust. WiFi almost non-existent.

The lift was a bit too small. I traveled with my daughter and her mother and we wouldn’t all fit in the lift if we had a bag, so I had to take 5 floors of stairs a few times but not necessarily a dealbreaker.

Excellent value for an older building, clean rooms in a good (less touristy) location near shops and a major train station. Staff were friendly, helpful and responded quickly when we had a question before arrival. Towels were changed and beds made daily.
Some elements of the decor could be refreshed. Rooms are small, but we didn¿t feel cramped. Elevator is small and slow but part of it¿s character; spiral stairs are an alternative.

I liked only the location and part of the staff was not bad
I did not like that the room was ugly with a dark long lobby.
We have a 2 years baby and when I made the reservation I asked for a coat, they send me that my request is to be sattisfied but when i arrived in the room, at 4th floor, i did not find it so i asked again in reception.
They brought us the coat but it was ugly and dirty, not ok ...but had no other option because we arrived at 22.00.
All the room is old; the furniture, the moquette and the bathroom without window are all ugly and obsolated, not ok for a 3*** hotel.
Also we had problems with the elevator our baby carriage didn't feet in it, so every time, even when we arrived late and exhaused, after long walks, and my baby was asleep, we had to carry her in our arms and close the stroller and go up one at the time. Even if our stroller is tiny, the elevator it's tinier. They gave us a room at 4th floor even if they knew we had a baby and they have the stairs and the elevator that are not ok in case of emergency i don't want to think how we were supposed to go down.The stairs were also tiny.
In my opinion not ok for families not ok for aged people

Well how to put it.
First of all it’s not a 4 or 3 star hotel maximum 2.
NO noice isolation I couldn’t rest, I was able to listen every single noice from my next room. AC was working but the dast inside was too much I’m wondering when they cleaned it last time ?There is no plug next to your back so say bye to your charger before going to sleep at least in my room was like this. The bath was dirty/old. The cherry on the cake shower gel shampoo is 0,30ml. It’s summer I use to take 2 times full shower at least what am I supposed to do with 0.30ml? I went to shop I bought shower gel because even for one day the one day out it for me was not enough. 0,30 ml really ? The rooms are too old they need to start the renovation at least floor by floor.

Since the hotel was being renovated and so stated at the entrace I can't be too severe about but half the electrics plugs and lights did not work. There was only decaf coffee no normal coffee, the hair dryer did not work....but that is all understood in the context of the improvement being made at the time at the hotel

It's my second time there and months age the hotel was already being worked on and renovated....so you knew months ago that you would not have air conditioning but your websites still says that the hotel has air conditioning. Free breakfast was meager compensation when it's almost 30 degrees outside. Luckily your great staff provided a fan...but it was insufficient ...the room was exceedingly hot.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, I arrived very, very late due to flight delays and the gentleman who checked me in was really helpful and polite.
In my room the sound of the heating was quite loud which meant that the room was never quiet, I did have a bit of trouble getting to sleep. Also the bathroom was showing its age and could probably do with a spruce up. Not quite sure why the shower screen is so short that it means when you have a shower you flood the floor!
