Great location however we didn’t stay and left as the hotel couldn’t accommodate us despite the booking
We made a booking for 4 adults which was confirmed however when we arrived the lady on reception said she gave the room to a couple and gave us a small room with a bed and small bunk beds. We complained and noted that this wasn’t what we booked and in the end was refused our money back and paid to stay in a different hotel nearby

The location was perfect and close to everywhere we wanted to go. We didn't use the breakfast facilities but it did look good. The room was a little warm as there is no air conditioning, but the pedestal fan did the trick. The room had a lovely roof terrace with two comfortable chairs to sit and relax. The hotel is old and authentic and so a little quirky. We loved it.
At check in we did wait around 15 minutes for someone to come to the reception area and check us in. Apart from that all was good.

Great character. Lacks some of the facilities of a Holiday Inn type of anonymous hotel and such chains are soulless places. This hotel is small but ideally located and the staff are charming. If you like a touch of history, charm and character then this is a place to stay. If you want a restaurant, bar and easy parking you have plenty of choice elsewhere.

It's a lovely hotel in a great location in the centre of the old town. It's an old building in a small street closed to traffic most of the day. ,
The staff were friendly and helpful. And the room was good, as was the breakfast.
We found the roof terrace just before we left so we didn't have time to enjoy it fully - next time perhaps!
We found Rouen fascinating, and the cathedral is very dramatic.
It was a long way to get to our room even using the lift - but it is an old building, so not much can be done about that.

The room, location and staff were superb. This is our second time staying and it did not disappoint. Plenty of space in the family room. The location is right in the midst of the historic town.
The breakfast is nice but expensive for what it is. 72€ for a family of four for two days is quite a bit, especially as the younger kids are only having a croissant and some fruit. Making a child rate available would be helpful.

Only one socket in the room we were allocated. And the fridge and kettle were plugged into it leaving nowhere to charge phones etc. The receptionist found us another room that was more suitable and also had a nice view of the courtyard.

The hotel is located just near the museum of Jeanna d'Arc and the Cathedral is just around the corner in the most charming area of the city. Our room was on the 3thd floor but we could reach it by elevator. Also the personnel were very friendly and the breakfast was good.
The room was quiet smal and the quality of the bed could be better. Because we hired the room just for one night the overal feeling was OK.

It’s very tired, not super clean, the decoration is shocking. The bed in my minute room (no 6) jammed up against a wall on one side (I did notice that room 5 is significantly better when the door was open today) pillows need replacing. Breakfast was cold and just ordinary with old wrinkled & tasteless stone fruit, weird cereals (kids style) and when the water for tea was luke warm this morning (9/30) when I asked for hot water I was told to microwave my tea! A bit Fawlty Towers . I wouldn’t recommend it

When you arrive, a person comes out from behind a curtain as though surprised to see you. There is a big bell on the desk to get their attention. They should have self check in.

Central location though hellish noisy on street side where we were. Nice building from outside. Comfortable bed and good water pressure although slightly bizarre, old, cracked shower. TV worked. Kettle and tea bags good.
Our room bore no relation to any of those photographed. Ancient carpet and basic decor. Altogether charmless. Clean but felt grotty. Certainly no beams or wood flooring in sight. Carpet felt unpleasant and whole place in desperate need of an upgrade. Bad lighting and had to pull out bed to get to plugs. Noisy on street side with many loud groups of partygoers. 90 Euros without breakfast didn’t feel like a bargain particularly although not expensive. I think they should show more honest room pics. Sorry we didn’t take any except one if the tv! If you book this hotel take care to ask for a picture of the actual room and for information on where it is located as clearly they have much better rooms available than the one we were in.

The location - which was within direct sight of the cathedral - was most amazing. the breakfast (it did cost 12 euros a piect) was out of this world. It was so over-the-top of any breakfast we've ever had!!
Sorry about this - after all the liked about this hotel - the room and bathroom were heated by hot water heated radiators, but were not turned on until dinner time, and turned off by breakfast time. I understand the need to conserve electricity, etc. But, it was really cold outside (around 0 degree C.) and raining. We arrived totally frozen from having visited the cathedral (of course was not heated!) - but we arrived at the room and had nothing to get warm with !
